תהילים 6

1 לַמְנַצֵּחַ בִּנְגִינוֹת עַֽל־הַשְּׁמִינִית מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִֽד׃ יְֽהֹוָה אַל־בְּאַפְּךָ תוֹכִיחֵנִי וְֽאַל־בַּחֲמָתְךָ תְיַסְּרֵֽנִי׃

For the chief musician; on stringed instruments, set to the Sheminith style. A psalm of David. Yahweh, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath.

2 חׇנֵּנִי יְהֹוָה כִּי אֻמְלַל ־ אָנִי רְפָאֵנִי יְהֹוָה כִּי נִבְהֲלוּ עֲצָמָֽי׃

Have mercy on me, Yahweh, for I am frail; heal me, Yahweh, for my bones are shaking.

3 וְנַפְשִׁי נִבְהֲלָה מְאֹד (ואת) [וְאַתָּה] יְהֹוָה עַד־מָתָֽי׃

My soul also is very troubled. But you, Yahweh—how long will this continue?

4 שׁוּבָה יְהֹוָה חַלְּצָה נַפְשִׁי הוֹשִׁיעֵנִי לְמַעַן חַסְדֶּֽךָ׃

Return, Yahweh! rescue me. Save me because of your covenant faithfulness!

5 כִּי אֵין בַּמָּוֶת זִכְרֶךָ בִּשְׁאוֹל מִי יֽוֹדֶה־לָּֽךְ׃ (Sheol h7585)

For in death there is no remembrance of you. In Sheol who will give you thanks? (Sheol h7585)

6 יָגַעְתִּי ׀ בְּֽאַנְחָתִי אַשְׂחֶה בְכׇל־לַיְלָה מִטָּתִי בְּדִמְעָתִי עַרְשִׂי אַמְסֶֽה׃

I am weary with my groaning. All night I drench my bed with tears; I wash my couch away with my tears.

7 עָשְׁשָׁה מִכַּעַס עֵינִי עָתְקָה בְּכׇל־צוֹרְרָֽי׃

My eyes grow dim from grief; they grow weak because of all my adversaries.

8 סוּרוּ מִמֶּנִּי כׇּל־פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן כִּֽי־שָׁמַע יְהֹוָה קוֹל בִּכְיִֽי׃

Get away from me, all you who practice iniquity; for Yahweh has heard the sound of my weeping.

9 שָׁמַע יְהֹוָה תְּחִנָּתִי יְהֹוָה תְּֽפִלָּתִי יִקָּֽח׃

Yahweh has heard my appeal for mercy; Yahweh has accepted my prayer.

10 יֵבֹשׁוּ ׀ וְיִבָּהֲלוּ מְאֹד כׇּל־אֹיְבָי יָשֻׁבוּ יֵבֹשׁוּ רָֽגַע׃

All my enemies will be ashamed and greatly troubled. They will turn back and be suddenly humiliated.
