תהילים 147
| הַלְלוּ ־ יָהּ ׀ כִּי־טוֹב זַמְּרָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ כִּי־נָעִים נָאוָה תְהִלָּֽה׃ | 1 |
Hallelujah; for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is comely; [him] becometh praise.
| בּוֹנֵה יְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִם יְהֹוָה נִדְחֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יְכַנֵּֽס׃ | 2 |
The Lord buildeth up Jerusalem: the outcasts of Israel will he gather together;
| הָרֹפֵא לִשְׁבוּרֵי לֵב וּמְחַבֵּשׁ לְעַצְּבוֹתָֽם׃ | 3 |
He that healeth the broken-hearted, and bindeth up their hurts;
| מוֹנֶה מִסְפָּר לַכּוֹכָבִים לְכֻלָּם שֵׁמוֹת יִקְרָֽא׃ | 4 |
Who counteth the number of the stars; who calleth them all by [their] names.
| גָּדוֹל אֲדוֹנֵינוּ וְרַב־כֹּחַ לִתְבוּנָתוֹ אֵין מִסְפָּֽר׃ | 5 |
Great is our Lord, and abundant in power: his understanding is immeasurable.
| מְעוֹדֵד עֲנָוִים יְהֹוָה מַשְׁפִּיל רְשָׁעִים עֲדֵי־אָֽרֶץ׃ | 6 |
The Lord helpeth up the meek: he bringeth down the wicked to the ground.
| עֱנוּ לַֽיהֹוָה בְּתוֹדָה זַמְּרוּ לֵאלֹהֵינוּ בְכִנּֽוֹר׃ | 7 |
Lift up a song unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praises unto our God with the harp;
| הַֽמְכַסֶּה שָׁמַיִם ׀ בְּעָבִים הַמֵּכִין לָאָרֶץ מָטָר הַמַּצְמִיחַ הָרִים חָצִֽיר׃ | 8 |
Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who causeth grass to grow upon the mountains;
| נוֹתֵן לִבְהֵמָה לַחְמָהּ לִבְנֵי עֹרֵב אֲשֶׁר יִקְרָֽאוּ׃ | 9 |
Who giveth to the beast its food, to the young ravens which cry.
| לֹא בִגְבוּרַת הַסּוּס יֶחְפָּץ לֹא־בְשׁוֹקֵי הָאִישׁ יִרְצֶֽה׃ | 10 |
Not in the strength of the horse hath he delight: nor in the [swiftness of the] legs of man taketh he pleasure.
| רוֹצֶה יְהֹוָה אֶת־יְרֵאָיו אֶת־הַֽמְיַחֲלִים לְחַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 11 |
The Lord taketh pleasure in those that fear him, that wait for his kindness.
| שַׁבְּחִי יְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִם אֶת־יְהֹוָה הַֽלְלִי אֱלֹהַיִךְ צִיּֽוֹן׃ | 12 |
Glorify, O Jerusalem, the Lord: praise thy God, O Zion.
| כִּֽי־חִזַּק בְּרִיחֵי שְׁעָרָיִךְ בֵּרַךְ בָּנַיִךְ בְּקִרְבֵּֽךְ׃ | 13 |
For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children in the midst of thee;
| הַשָּׂם־גְּבוּלֵךְ שָׁלוֹם חֵלֶב חִטִּים יַשְׂבִּיעֵֽךְ׃ | 14 |
He who bestoweth peace in thy borders, who satisfieth thee with the best of wheat;
| הַשֹּׁלֵחַ אִמְרָתוֹ אָרֶץ עַד־מְהֵרָה יָרוּץ דְּבָרֽוֹ׃ | 15 |
He who sendeth forth his decree unto the earth: how swiftly speedeth his word along!
| הַנֹּתֵן שֶׁלֶג כַּצָּמֶר כְּפוֹר כָּאֵפֶר יְפַזֵּֽר׃ | 16 |
He who dispenseth snow like wool; who streweth about the hoarfrost like ashes;
| מַשְׁלִיךְ קַֽרְחוֹ כְפִתִּים לִפְנֵי קָרָתוֹ מִי יַעֲמֹֽד׃ | 17 |
He who casteth down his ice like pieces: before his cold who can stand?
| יִשְׁלַח דְּבָרוֹ וְיַמְסֵם יַשֵּׁב רוּחוֹ יִזְּלוּ־מָֽיִם׃ | 18 |
He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and waters run along.
| מַגִּיד דְּבָרָו לְיַעֲקֹב חֻקָּיו וּמִשְׁפָּטָיו לְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ | 19 |
He declareth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his ordinances unto Israel.
| לֹא עָשָׂה כֵן ׀ לְכׇל־גּוֹי וּמִשְׁפָּטִים בַּל־יְדָעוּם הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃ | 20 |
He hath not done so unto any nation: and [his] ordinances— these they know not. Hallelujah.
