תהילים 136

1 הוֹדוּ לַיהֹוָה כִּי־טוֹב כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

Oh, give thanks to Yahweh; for he is good, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.

2 הוֹדוּ לֵאלֹהֵי הָאֱלֹהִים כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

Oh, give thanks to the God of gods, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.

3 הוֹדוּ לַאֲדֹנֵי הָאֲדֹנִים כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.

4 לְעֹשֵׂה נִפְלָאוֹת גְּדֹלוֹת לְבַדּוֹ כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

Give thanks to him who alone does great wonders, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—

5 לְעֹשֵׂה הַשָּׁמַיִם בִּתְבוּנָה כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

to him who by wisdom made the heavens, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.

6 לְרֹקַע הָאָרֶץ עַל־הַמָּיִם כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

Give thanks to him who spread out the earth above the waters, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—

7 לְעֹשֵׂה אוֹרִים גְּדֹלִים כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

to him who made great lights, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.

8 אֶת־הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ לְמֶמְשֶׁלֶת בַּיּוֹם כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

Give thank to him who gave the sun to rule by day, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—

9 אֶת־הַיָּרֵחַ וְכוֹכָבִים לְמֶמְשְׁלוֹת בַּלָּיְלָה כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

the moon and stars to rule by night, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.

10 לְמַכֵּה מִצְרַיִם בִּבְכוֹרֵיהֶם כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

Give thanks to him who killed the firstborn of Egypt, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—

11 וַיּוֹצֵא יִשְׂרָאֵל מִתּוֹכָם כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

and brought out Israel from among them, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—

12 בְּיָד חֲזָקָה וּבִזְרוֹעַ נְטוּיָה כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

with a strong hand and a raised arm, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.

13 לְגֹזֵר יַם־סוּף לִגְזָרִים כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

Give thanks to him who divided the Sea of Reeds, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—

14 וְהֶעֱבִיר יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּתוֹכוֹ כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

and made Israel to pass through the middle of it, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—

15 וְנִעֵר פַּרְעֹה וְחֵילוֹ בְיַם־סוּף כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

but overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Sea of Reeds, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.

16 לְמוֹלִיךְ עַמּוֹ בַּמִּדְבָּר כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

Give thanks to him who led his people through the wilderness, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—

17 לְמַכֵּה מְלָכִים גְּדֹלִים כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

to him who killed great kings, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.

18 וַֽיַּהֲרֹג מְלָכִים אַדִּירִים כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

Give thanks to him who killed famous kings, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—

19 לְסִיחוֹן מֶלֶךְ הָאֱמֹרִי כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

Sihon king of the Amorites, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—

20 וּלְעוֹג מֶלֶךְ הַבָּשָׁן כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

and Og king of Bashan, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.

21 וְנָתַן אַרְצָם לְנַחֲלָה כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

Give thanks to him who gave their land as an inheritance, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—

22 נַחֲלָה לְיִשְׂרָאֵל עַבְדּוֹ כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

an inheritance to Israel his servant, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—

23 שֶׁבְּשִׁפְלֵנוּ זָכַר לָנוּ כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

to him who called us to mind and helped us in our humiliation, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.

24 וַיִּפְרְקֵנוּ מִצָּרֵינוּ כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

Give thanks to him who has given us victory over our enemies, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—

25 נֹתֵן לֶחֶם לְכׇל־בָּשָׂר כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

who gives food to all living beings, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.

26 הוֹדוּ לְאֵל הַשָּׁמָיִם כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

Oh, give thanks to the God of heaven, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.
