תהילים 125

1 שִׁיר הַֽמַּעֲלוֹת הַבֹּטְחִים בַּיהֹוָה כְּֽהַר־צִיּוֹן לֹא־יִמּוֹט לְעוֹלָם יֵשֵֽׁב׃

[A Song of Ascents.] Those who trust in Jehovah are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but remains forever.

2 יְֽרוּשָׁלַ͏ִם הָרִים סָבִיב לָהּ וַיהֹוָה סָבִיב לְעַמּוֹ מֵעַתָּה וְעַד־עוֹלָֽם׃

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Jehovah surrounds his people from this time forth and forevermore.

3 כִּי לֹא יָנוּחַ שֵׁבֶט הָרֶשַׁע עַל גּוֹרַל הַֽצַּדִּיקִים לְמַעַן לֹא־יִשְׁלְחוּ הַצַּדִּיקִים בְּעַוְלָתָה יְדֵיהֶֽם׃

For the scepter of wickedness won't remain over the allotment of the righteous; so that the righteous won't use their hands to do evil.

4 הֵיטִיבָה יְהֹוָה לַטּוֹבִים וְלִישָׁרִים בְּלִבּוֹתָֽם׃

Do good, Jehovah, to those who are good, to those who are upright in their hearts.

5 וְהַמַּטִּים עֲֽקַלְקַלּוֹתָם יוֹלִיכֵם יְהֹוָה אֶת־פֹּעֲלֵי הָאָוֶן שָׁלוֹם עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, Jehovah will lead them away with evildoers. Peace be on Israel.
