| וַיְדַבֵּר יְהֹוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה וְאֶֽל־אַהֲרֹן לֵאמֹֽר׃ | 1 |
and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses and to(wards) Aaron to/for to say
| נָשֹׂא אֶת־רֹאשׁ בְּנֵי קְהָת מִתּוֹךְ בְּנֵי לֵוִי לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם לְבֵית אֲבֹתָֽם׃ | 2 |
to lift: count [obj] head: count son: descendant/people Kohath from midst son: descendant/people Levi to/for family their to/for house: household father their
| מִבֶּן שְׁלֹשִׁים שָׁנָה וָמַעְלָה וְעַד בֶּן־חֲמִשִּׁים שָׁנָה כׇּל־בָּא לַצָּבָא לַעֲשׂוֹת מְלָאכָה בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ | 3 |
from son: aged thirty year and above [to] and till son: aged fifty year all to come (in): come to/for army: duty to/for to make: do work in/on/with tent meeting
| זֹאת עֲבֹדַת בְּנֵי־קְהָת בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד קֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִֽׁים׃ | 4 |
this service: ministry son: descendant/people Kohath in/on/with tent meeting holiness [the] holiness
| וּבָא אַהֲרֹן וּבָנָיו בִּנְסֹעַ הַֽמַּחֲנֶה וְהוֹרִדוּ אֵת פָּרֹכֶת הַמָּסָךְ וְכִסּוּ־בָהּ אֵת אֲרֹן הָעֵדֻֽת׃ | 5 |
and to come (in): come Aaron and son: child his in/on/with to set out [the] camp and to go down [obj] curtain [the] covering and to cover in/on/with her [obj] ark [the] testimony
| וְנָתְנוּ עָלָיו כְּסוּי עוֹר תַּחַשׁ וּפָרְשׂוּ בֶֽגֶד־כְּלִיל תְּכֵלֶת מִלְמָעְלָה וְשָׂמוּ בַּדָּֽיו׃ | 6 |
and to give: put upon him covering skin leather and to spread garment entire blue from to/for above [to] and to set: put alone: pole his
| וְעַל ׀ שֻׁלְחַן הַפָּנִים יִפְרְשׂוּ בֶּגֶד תְּכֵלֶת וְנָתְנוּ עָלָיו אֶת־הַקְּעָרֹת וְאֶת־הַכַּפֹּת וְאֶת־הַמְּנַקִּיֹּת וְאֵת קְשׂוֹת הַנָּסֶךְ וְלֶחֶם הַתָּמִיד עָלָיו יִהְיֶֽה׃ | 7 |
and upon table [the] face to spread garment blue and to give: put upon him [obj] [the] dish and [obj] [the] palm: dish and [obj] [the] bowl and [obj] jug [the] drink offering and food: bread [the] continually upon him to be
| וּפָרְשׂוּ עֲלֵיהֶם בֶּגֶד תּוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי וְכִסּוּ אֹתוֹ בְּמִכְסֵה עוֹר תָּחַשׁ וְשָׂמוּ אֶת־בַּדָּֽיו׃ | 8 |
and to spread upon them garment worm scarlet and to cover [obj] him in/on/with covering skin leather and to set: put [obj] alone: pole his
| וְלָקְחוּ ׀ בֶּגֶד תְּכֵלֶת וְכִסּוּ אֶת־מְנֹרַת הַמָּאוֹר וְאֶת־נֵרֹתֶיהָ וְאֶת־מַלְקָחֶיהָ וְאֶת־מַחְתֹּתֶיהָ וְאֵת כׇּל־כְּלֵי שַׁמְנָהּ אֲשֶׁר יְשָׁרְתוּ־לָהּ בָּהֶֽם׃ | 9 |
and to take: take garment blue and to cover [obj] lampstand [the] light and [obj] lamp her and [obj] tong her and [obj] censer her and [obj] all article/utensil oil her which to minister to/for her in/on/with them
| וְנָתְנוּ אֹתָהּ וְאֶת־כׇּל־כֵּלֶיהָ אֶל־מִכְסֵה עוֹר תָּחַשׁ וְנָתְנוּ עַל־הַמּֽוֹט׃ | 10 |
and to give: put [obj] her and [obj] all article/utensil her to(wards) covering skin leather and to give: put upon [the] yoke
| וְעַל ׀ מִזְבַּח הַזָּהָב יִפְרְשׂוּ בֶּגֶד תְּכֵלֶת וְכִסּוּ אֹתוֹ בְּמִכְסֵה עוֹר תָּחַשׁ וְשָׂמוּ אֶת־בַּדָּֽיו׃ | 11 |
and upon altar [the] gold to spread garment blue and to cover [obj] him in/on/with covering skin leather and to set: put [obj] alone: pole his
| וְלָקְחוּ אֶת־כׇּל־כְּלֵי הַשָּׁרֵת אֲשֶׁר יְשָֽׁרְתוּ־בָם בַּקֹּדֶשׁ וְנָֽתְנוּ אֶל־בֶּגֶד תְּכֵלֶת וְכִסּוּ אוֹתָם בְּמִכְסֵה עוֹר תָּחַשׁ וְנָתְנוּ עַל־הַמּֽוֹט׃ | 12 |
and to take: take [obj] all article/utensil [the] ministry which to minister in/on/with them in/on/with holiness and to give: put to(wards) garment blue and to cover [obj] them in/on/with covering skin leather and to give: put upon [the] yoke
| וְדִשְּׁנוּ אֶת־הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וּפָרְשׂוּ עָלָיו בֶּגֶד אַרְגָּמָֽן׃ | 13 |
and to prosper [obj] [the] altar and to spread upon him garment purple
| וְנָתְנוּ עָלָיו אֶֽת־כׇּל־כֵּלָיו אֲשֶׁר יְֽשָׁרְתוּ עָלָיו בָּהֶם אֶת־הַמַּחְתֹּת אֶת־הַמִּזְלָגֹת וְאֶת־הַיָּעִים וְאֶת־הַמִּזְרָקֹת כֹּל כְּלֵי הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וּפָרְשׂוּ עָלָיו כְּסוּי עוֹר תַּחַשׁ וְשָׂמוּ בַדָּֽיו׃ | 14 |
and to give: put upon him [obj] all article/utensil his which to minister upon him in/on/with them [obj] [the] censer [obj] [the] fork and [obj] [the] shovel and [obj] [the] bowl all article/utensil [the] altar and to spread upon him covering skin leather and to set: put alone: pole his
| וְכִלָּה אַֽהֲרֹן־וּבָנָיו לְכַסֹּת אֶת־הַקֹּדֶשׁ וְאֶת־כׇּל־כְּלֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ בִּנְסֹעַ הַֽמַּחֲנֶה וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵן יָבֹאוּ בְנֵי־קְהָת לָשֵׂאת וְלֹֽא־יִגְּעוּ אֶל־הַקֹּדֶשׁ וָמֵתוּ אֵלֶּה מַשָּׂא בְנֵֽי־קְהָת בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ | 15 |
and to end: finish Aaron and son: child his to/for to cover [obj] [the] holiness and [obj] all article/utensil [the] holiness in/on/with to set out [the] camp and after so to come (in): come son: child Kohath to/for to lift: bear and not to touch to(wards) [the] holiness and to die these burden son: child Kohath in/on/with tent meeting
| וּפְקֻדַּת אֶלְעָזָר ׀ בֶּן־אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן שֶׁמֶן הַמָּאוֹר וּקְטֹרֶת הַסַּמִּים וּמִנְחַת הַתָּמִיד וְשֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה פְּקֻדַּת כׇּל־הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְכׇל־אֲשֶׁר־בּוֹ בְּקֹדֶשׁ וּבְכֵלָֽיו׃ | 16 |
and punishment Eleazar son: child Aaron [the] priest oil [the] light and incense [the] spice and offering [the] continually and oil [the] anointing punishment all [the] tabernacle and all which in/on/with him in/on/with holiness and in/on/with article/utensil his
| וַיְדַבֵּר יְהֹוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה וְאֶֽל־אַהֲרֹן לֵאמֹֽר׃ | 17 |
and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses and to(wards) Aaron to/for to say
| אַל־תַּכְרִיתוּ אֶת־שֵׁבֶט מִשְׁפְּחֹת הַקְּהָתִי מִתּוֹךְ הַלְוִיִּֽם׃ | 18 |
not to cut: eliminate [obj] tribe family [the] Kohathite from midst [the] Levi
| וְזֹאת ׀ עֲשׂוּ לָהֶם וְחָיוּ וְלֹא יָמֻתוּ בְּגִשְׁתָּם אֶת־קֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים אַהֲרֹן וּבָנָיו יָבֹאוּ וְשָׂמוּ אוֹתָם אִישׁ אִישׁ עַל־עֲבֹדָתוֹ וְאֶל־מַשָּׂאֽוֹ׃ | 19 |
and this to make: do to/for them and to live and not to die in/on/with to approach: approach they [obj] holiness [the] holiness Aaron and son: child his to come (in): come and to set: appoint [obj] them man man upon service: ministry his and to(wards) burden his
| וְלֹא־יָבֹאוּ לִרְאוֹת כְּבַלַּע אֶת־הַקֹּדֶשׁ וָמֵֽתוּ׃ | 20 |
and not to come (in): come to/for to see: see like/as to swallow up [obj] [the] holiness and to die
| וַיְדַבֵּר יְהֹוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ | 21 |
and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say
| נָשֹׂא אֶת־רֹאשׁ בְּנֵי גֵרְשׁוֹן גַּם־הֵם לְבֵית אֲבֹתָם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃ | 22 |
to lift: count [obj] head: count son: descendant/people Gershon also they(masc.) to/for house: household father their to/for family their
| מִבֶּן שְׁלֹשִׁים שָׁנָה וָמַעְלָה עַד בֶּן־חֲמִשִּׁים שָׁנָה תִּפְקֹד אוֹתָם כׇּל־הַבָּא לִצְבֹא צָבָא לַעֲבֹד עֲבֹדָה בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ | 23 |
from son: aged thirty year and above [to] till son: aged fifty year to reckon: list [obj] them all [the] to come (in): come to/for to serve army: duty to/for to serve: minister service: ministry in/on/with tent meeting
| זֹאת עֲבֹדַת מִשְׁפְּחֹת הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּי לַעֲבֹד וּלְמַשָּֽׂא׃ | 24 |
this service family [the] Gershonite to/for to serve and to/for burden
| וְנָשְׂאוּ אֶת־יְרִיעֹת הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְאֶת־אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד מִכְסֵהוּ וּמִכְסֵה הַתַּחַשׁ אֲשֶׁר־עָלָיו מִלְמָעְלָה וְאֶת־מָסַךְ פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ | 25 |
and to lift: bear [obj] curtain [the] tabernacle and [obj] tent meeting covering his and covering [the] leather which upon him from to/for above [to] and [obj] covering entrance tent meeting
| וְאֵת קַלְעֵי הֶֽחָצֵר וְאֶת־מָסַךְ ׀ פֶּתַח ׀ שַׁעַר הֶחָצֵר אֲשֶׁר עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְעַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַ סָבִיב וְאֵת מֵֽיתְרֵיהֶם וְאֶֽת־כׇּל־כְּלֵי עֲבֹדָתָם וְאֵת כׇּל־אֲשֶׁר יֵעָשֶׂה לָהֶם וְעָבָֽדוּ׃ | 26 |
and [obj] curtain [the] court and [obj] covering entrance gate [the] court which upon [the] tabernacle and upon [the] altar around and [obj] cord their and [obj] all article/utensil service: ministry their and [obj] all which to make: do to/for them and to serve: minister
| עַל־פִּי אַהֲרֹן וּבָנָיו תִּהְיֶה כׇּל־עֲבֹדַת בְּנֵי הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּי לְכׇל־מַשָּׂאָם וּלְכֹל עֲבֹדָתָם וּפְקַדְתֶּם עֲלֵהֶם בְּמִשְׁמֶרֶת אֵת כׇּל־מַשָּׂאָֽם׃ | 27 |
upon lip: word Aaron and son: child his to be all service: ministry son: child [the] Gershonite to/for all burden their and to/for all service: ministry their and to reckon: overseer upon them in/on/with charge [obj] all burden their
| זֹאת עֲבֹדַת מִשְׁפְּחֹת בְּנֵי הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּי בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וּמִשְׁמַרְתָּם בְּיַד אִֽיתָמָר בֶּֽן־אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ | 28 |

| וְזֹאת מִשְׁמֶרֶת מַשָּׂאָם לְכׇל־עֲבֹדָתָם בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד קַרְשֵׁי הַמִּשְׁכָּן וּבְרִיחָיו וְעַמּוּדָיו וַאֲדָנָֽיו׃ | 31 |
and this charge burden their to/for all service: ministry their in/on/with tent meeting board [the] tabernacle and bar his and pillar his and socket his
| וְעַמּוּדֵי הֶחָצֵר סָבִיב וְאַדְנֵיהֶם וִיתֵֽדֹתָם וּמֵיתְרֵיהֶם לְכׇל־כְּלֵיהֶם וּלְכֹל עֲבֹדָתָם וּבְשֵׁמֹת תִּפְקְדוּ אֶת־כְּלֵי מִשְׁמֶרֶת מַשָּׂאָֽם׃ | 32 |
and pillar [the] court around and socket their and peg their and cord their to/for all article/utensil their and to/for all service: work their and in/on/with name to reckon: list [obj] article/utensil charge burden their
| זֹאת עֲבֹדַת מִשְׁפְּחֹת בְּנֵי מְרָרִי לְכׇל־עֲבֹדָתָם בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד בְּיַד אִֽיתָמָר בֶּֽן־אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ | 33 |

| אֵלֶּה פְקוּדֵי מִשְׁפְּחֹת הַקְּהָתִי כׇּל־הָעֹבֵד בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד אֲשֶׁר פָּקַד מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן עַל־פִּי יְהֹוָה בְּיַד־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ | 37 |

| אֵלֶּה פְקוּדֵי מִשְׁפְּחֹת בְּנֵי גֵרְשׁוֹן כׇּל־הָעֹבֵד בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד אֲשֶׁר פָּקַד מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן עַל־פִּי יְהֹוָֽה׃ | 41 |
