בראשית 5

1 זֶה סֵפֶר תּוֹלְדֹת אָדָם בְּיוֹם בְּרֹא אֱלֹהִים אָדָם בִּדְמוּת אֱלֹהִים עָשָׂה אֹתֽוֹ׃

This [is] [the] record of [the] descendants of Adam on [the] day created God humankind in [the] likeness of God he made him.

2 זָכָר וּנְקֵבָה בְּרָאָם וַיְבָרֶךְ אֹתָם וַיִּקְרָא אֶת־שְׁמָם אָדָם בְּיוֹם הִבָּֽרְאָֽם׃

Male and female he created them and he blessed them and he called name their humankind on [the] day were created they.

3 וַיְחִי אָדָם שְׁלֹשִׁים וּמְאַת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד בִּדְמוּתוֹ כְּצַלְמוֹ וַיִּקְרָא אֶת־שְׁמוֹ שֵֽׁת׃

And he lived Adam thirty and one hundred year[s] and he became a father in own likeness his according to image his and he called name his Seth.

4 וַיִּֽהְיוּ יְמֵי־אָדָם אַֽחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת־שֵׁת שְׁמֹנֶה מֵאֹת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד בָּנִים וּבָנֽוֹת׃

And they were [the] days of Adam after fathered he Seth eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

5 וַיִּֽהְיוּ כׇּל־יְמֵי אָדָם אֲשֶׁר־חַי תְּשַׁע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וּשְׁלֹשִׁים שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹֽת׃

And they were all [the] days of Adam which he lived nine hundred year[s] and thirty year[s] and he died.

6 וַֽיְחִי־שֵׁת חָמֵשׁ שָׁנִים וּמְאַת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד אֶת־אֱנֽוֹשׁ׃

And he lived Seth five years and one hundred year[s] and he fathered Enosh.

7 וַֽיְחִי־שֵׁת אַֽחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת־אֱנוֹשׁ שֶׁבַע שָׁנִים וּשְׁמֹנֶה מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד בָּנִים וּבָנֽוֹת׃

And he lived Seth after fathered he Enosh seven years and eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

8 וַיִּֽהְיוּ כׇּל־יְמֵי־שֵׁת שְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵה שָׁנָה וּתְשַׁע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹֽת׃

And they were all [the] days of Seth two [plus] ten year[s] and nine hundred year[s] and he died.

9 וַיְחִי אֱנוֹשׁ תִּשְׁעִים שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד אֶת־קֵינָֽן׃

And he lived Enosh ninety year[s] and he fathered Kenan.

10 וַיְחִי אֱנוֹשׁ אַֽחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת־קֵינָן חֲמֵשׁ עֶשְׂרֵה שָׁנָה וּשְׁמֹנֶה מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד בָּנִים וּבָנֽוֹת׃

And he lived Enosh after fathered he Kenan fif-teen year[s] and eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

11 וַיִּֽהְיוּ כׇּל־יְמֵי אֱנוֹשׁ חָמֵשׁ שָׁנִים וּתְשַׁע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹֽת׃

And they were all [the] days of Enosh five years and nine hundred year[s] and he died.

12 וַיְחִי קֵינָן שִׁבְעִים שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד אֶת־מַֽהֲלַלְאֵֽל׃

And he lived Kenan seventy year[s] and he fathered Mahalalel.

13 וַיְחִי קֵינָן אַחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת־מַֽהֲלַלְאֵל אַרְבָּעִים שָׁנָה וּשְׁמֹנֶה מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד בָּנִים וּבָנֽוֹת׃

And he lived Kenan after fathered he Mahalalel forty year[s] and eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

14 וַיִּֽהְיוּ כׇּל־יְמֵי קֵינָן עֶשֶׂר שָׁנִים וּתְשַׁע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹֽת׃

And they were all [the] days of Kenan ten years and nine hundred year[s] and he died.

15 וַיְחִי מַֽהֲלַלְאֵל חָמֵשׁ שָׁנִים וְשִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד אֶת־יָֽרֶד׃

And he lived Mahalalel five years and sixty year[s] and he fathered Jared.

16 וַיְחִי מַֽהֲלַלְאֵל אַֽחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת־יֶרֶד שְׁלֹשִׁים שָׁנָה וּשְׁמֹנֶה מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד בָּנִים וּבָנֽוֹת׃

And he lived Mahalalel after fathered he Jared thirty year[s] and eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

17 וַיִּהְיוּ כׇּל־יְמֵי מַהֲלַלְאֵל חָמֵשׁ וְתִשְׁעִים שָׁנָה וּשְׁמֹנֶה מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹֽת׃

And they were all [the] days of Mahalalel five and ninety year[s] and eight hundred year[s] and he died.

18 וַֽיְחִי־יֶרֶד שְׁתַּיִם וְשִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וּמְאַת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד אֶת־חֲנֽוֹךְ׃

And he lived Jared two and sixty year[s] and one hundred year[s] and he fathered Enoch.

19 וַֽיְחִי־יֶרֶד אַֽחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת־חֲנוֹךְ שְׁמֹנֶה מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד בָּנִים וּבָנֽוֹת׃

And he lived Jared after fathered he Enoch eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

20 וַיִּֽהְיוּ כׇּל־יְמֵי־יֶרֶד שְׁתַּיִם וְשִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וּתְשַׁע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹֽת׃

And they were all [the] days of Jared two and sixty year[s] and nine hundred year[s] and he died.

21 וַיְחִי חֲנוֹךְ חָמֵשׁ וְשִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד אֶת־מְתוּשָֽׁלַח׃

And he lived Enoch five and sixty year[s] and he fathered Methuselah.

22 וַיִּתְהַלֵּךְ חֲנוֹךְ אֶת־הָֽאֱלֹהִים אַֽחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת־מְתוּשֶׁלַח שְׁלֹשׁ מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד בָּנִים וּבָנֽוֹת׃

And he walked about Enoch with God after fathered he Methuselah three hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

23 וַיְהִי כׇּל־יְמֵי חֲנוֹךְ חָמֵשׁ וְשִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וּשְׁלֹשׁ מֵאוֹת שָׁנָֽה׃

And it was all [the] days of Enoch five and sixty year[s] and three hundred year[s].

24 וַיִּתְהַלֵּךְ חֲנוֹךְ אֶת־הָֽאֱלֹהִים וְאֵינֶנּוּ כִּֽי־לָקַח אֹתוֹ אֱלֹהִֽים׃

And he walked about Enoch with God and not [was] he for he took him God.

25 וַיְחִי מְתוּשֶׁלַח שֶׁבַע וּשְׁמֹנִים שָׁנָה וּמְאַת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד אֶת־לָֽמֶךְ׃

And he lived Methuselah seven and eighty year[s] and one hundred year[s] and he fathered Lamech.

26 וַיְחִי מְתוּשֶׁלַח אַֽחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת־לֶמֶךְ שְׁתַּיִם וּשְׁמוֹנִים שָׁנָה וּשְׁבַע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד בָּנִים וּבָנֽוֹת׃

And he lived Methuselah after fathered he Lamech two and eighty year[s] and seven hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

27 וַיִּהְיוּ כׇּל־יְמֵי מְתוּשֶׁלַח תֵּשַׁע וְשִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וּתְשַׁע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹֽת׃

And they were all [the] days of Methuselah nine and sixty year[s] and nine hundred year[s] and he died.

28 וַֽיְחִי־לֶמֶךְ שְׁתַּיִם וּשְׁמֹנִים שָׁנָה וּמְאַת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד בֵּֽן׃

And he lived Lamech two and eighty year[s] and one hundred year[s] and he fathered a son.

29 וַיִּקְרָא אֶת־שְׁמוֹ נֹחַ לֵאמֹר זֶה יְנַחֲמֵנוּ מִֽמַּעֲשֵׂנוּ וּמֵעִצְּבוֹן יָדֵינוּ מִן־הָאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר אֵֽרְרָהּ יְהֹוָֽה׃

And he called name his Noah saying this [one] he will comfort us from work our and from [the] pain of hands our from the ground which he has cursed it Yahweh.

30 וַֽיְחִי־לֶמֶךְ אַֽחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת־נֹחַ חָמֵשׁ וְתִשְׁעִים שָׁנָה וַחֲמֵשׁ מֵאֹת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד בָּנִים וּבָנֽוֹת׃

And he lived Lamech after fathered he Noah five and ninety year[s] and five hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

31 וַֽיְהִי כׇּל־יְמֵי־לֶמֶךְ שֶׁבַע וְשִׁבְעִים שָׁנָה וּשְׁבַע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹֽת׃

And it was all [the] days of Lamech seven and seventy year[s] and seven hundred year[s] and he died.

32 וַֽיְהִי־נֹחַ בֶּן־חֲמֵשׁ מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד נֹחַ אֶת־שֵׁם אֶת־חָם וְאֶת־יָֽפֶת׃

And he was Noah a son of five hundred year[s] and he fathered Noah Shem Ham and Japheth.
