וַיָּשֶׂם הַמֶּלֶךְ (אחשרש) [אֲחַשְׁוֵרוֹשׁ] ׀ מַס עַל־הָאָרֶץ וְאִיֵּי הַיָּֽם׃ | 1 |
And he put the king (Ahasuerus *Q(K)*) a tax on the land and [the] islands of the sea.
וְכׇל־מַעֲשֵׂה תׇקְפּוֹ וּגְבוּרָתוֹ וּפָרָשַׁת גְּדֻלַּת מׇרְדֳּכַי אֲשֶׁר גִּדְּלוֹ הַמֶּלֶךְ הֲלוֹא־הֵם כְּתוּבִים עַל־סֵפֶר דִּבְרֵי הַיָּמִים לְמַלְכֵי מָדַי וּפָרָֽס׃ | 2 |
And all [the] achievement of power his and might his and [the] full account of [the] greatness of Mordecai whom he had made great him the king ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] words of the days of [the] kings of Media and Persia.
כִּי ׀ מׇרְדֳּכַי הַיְּהוּדִי מִשְׁנֶה לַמֶּלֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵרוֹשׁ וְגָדוֹל לַיְּהוּדִים וְרָצוּי לְרֹב אֶחָיו דֹּרֵשׁ טוֹב לְעַמּוֹ וְדֹבֵר שָׁלוֹם לְכׇל־זַרְעֽוֹ׃ | 3 |
For - Mordecai the Jew [was] second to the king Ahasuerus and [was] great to the Jews and was acceptable to [the] multitude of brothers his seeking good for people his and speaking peace to all offspring his.
