תהילים 96

1 שירו ליהוה שיר חדש שירו ליהוה כל-הארץ

Oh, sing to Yahweh a new song; sing to Yahweh, all the earth.

2 שירו ליהוה ברכו שמו בשרו מיום-ליום ישועתו

Sing to Yahweh, bless his name; announce his salvation day after day.

3 ספרו בגוים כבודו בכל-העמים נפלאותיו

Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all the nations.

4 כי גדול יהוה ומהלל מאד נורא הוא על-כל-אלהים

For Yahweh is great and is to be praised greatly. He is to be feared above all other gods.

5 כי כל-אלהי העמים אלילים ויהוה שמים עשה

For all the gods of the nations are idols, but it is Yahweh who made the heavens.

6 הוד-והדר לפניו עז ותפארת במקדשו

Splendor and majesty are in his presence. Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

7 הבו ליהוה משפחות עמים הבו ליהוה כבוד ועז

Ascribe to Yahweh, you clans of peoples, ascribe praise to Yahweh for his glory and strength.

8 הבו ליהוה כבוד שמו שאו-מנחה ובאו לחצרותיו

Give to Yahweh the glory that his name deserves. Bring an offering and come into his courts.

9 השתחוו ליהוה בהדרת-קדש חילו מפניו כל-הארץ

Bow down to Yahweh in the splendor of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth.

10 אמרו בגוים יהוה מלך-- אף-תכון תבל בל-תמוט ידין עמים במישרים

Say among the nations, “Yahweh reigns.” The world also is established; it cannot be shaken. He judges the peoples fairly.

11 ישמחו השמים ותגל הארץ ירעם הים ומלאו

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar and that which fills it shout with joy.

12 יעלז שדי וכל-אשר-בו אז ירננו כל-עצי-יער

Let the fields rejoice and all that is in them. Then let all the trees in the forest shout for joy

13 לפני יהוה כי בא-- כי בא לשפט הארץ ישפט-תבל בצדק ועמים באמונתו

before Yahweh, for he is coming. He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with his faithfulness.
