תהילים 61

1 למנצח על-נגינת לדוד ב שמעה אלהים רנתי הקשיבה תפלתי

To the Chief Musician. Upon a Stringed Instrument. David’s. Hear, O God, my loud cry, Attend unto my prayer:

2 מקצה הארץ אליך אקרא-- בעטף לבי בצור-ירום ממני תנחני

From the end of the earth, unto thee do I cry, When my heart fainteth away, Unto a rock that is higher than I, wilt thou lead me.

3 כי-היית מחסה לי מגדל-עז מפני אויב

For thou hast been, A Refuge to me, A Tower of Strength, from the face of the foe.

4 אגורה באהלך עולמים אחסה בסתר כנפיך סלה

I would be a guest in thy tent to the ages, I would seek refuge in the concealment of thy wings. (Selah)

5 כי-אתה אלהים שמעת לנדרי נתת ירשת יראי שמך

For, thou, O God, hast hearkened to my vows, Thou hast granted a possession, unto them who revere thy Name.

6 ימים על-ימי-מלך תוסיף שנותיו כמו-דר ודר

Days—unto the days of the king, wilt thou add. His years, as of generation after generation:

7 ישב עולם לפני אלהים חסד ואמת מן ינצרהו

Let him retain his seat age-abidingly before God, Appoint that, lovingkindness and faithfulness, my watch over him!

8 כן אזמרה שמך לעד-- לשלמי נדרי יום יום

So, will I sing thy Name unto futurity, Paying my vows, day by day.
