תהילים 54

1 למנצח בנגינת משכיל לדוד ב בבא הזיפים ויאמרו לשאול הלא דוד מסתתר עמנו ג אלהים בשמך הושיעני ובגבורתך תדינני

For the chief musician; on stringed instruments. A maschil of David; when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, “Does David not hide himself with us?” Save me, God, by your name, and judge me in your might.

2 אלהים שמע תפלתי האזינה לאמרי-פי

Hear my prayer, God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

3 כי זרים קמו עלי-- ועריצים בקשו נפשי לא שמו אלהים לנגדם סלה

For strangers have risen up against me, and pitiless men have sought after my life; they have not set God before them. (Selah)

4 הנה אלהים עזר לי אדני בסמכי נפשי

See, God is my helper; the Lord is the one who upholds me.

5 ישוב (ישיב) הרע לשררי באמתך הצמיתם

He will repay my enemies with evil; in your faithfulness, destroy them!

6 בנדבה אזבחה-לך אודה שמך יהוה כי-טוב

I will sacrifice to you with a freewill offering; I will give thanks to your name, Yahweh, for it is good.

7 כי מכל-צרה הצילני ובאיבי ראתה עיני

For he has rescued me from every trouble; my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies.
