תהילים 30
| מזמור שיר-חנכת הבית לדוד ב ארוממך יהוה כי דליתני ולא-שמחת איבי לי | 1 |
“A psalm of David. To the air of songs for the dedication of a house.” I will extol thee, O LORD! for thou hast lifted me up, And hast not suffered my enemies to rejoice over me.
| יהוה אלהי-- שועתי אליך ותרפאני | 2 |
O Jehovah, my God! I called upon thee, and thou hast healed me!

O LORD! thou hast raised me up from the underworld; Thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. (Sheol h7585)
| זמרו ליהוה חסידיו והודו לזכר קדשו | 4 |
Sing unto the LORD, O ye his servants! And praise his holy name!
| כי רגע באפו-- חיים ברצונו בערב ילין בכי ולבקר רנה | 5 |
For his anger endureth but a moment, But his favor through life; In the evening sorrow may be a guest, But joy cometh in the morning.
| ואני אמרתי בשלוי-- בל-אמוט לעולם | 6 |
I said in my prosperity, “I shall never be moved!”
| יהוה-- ברצונך העמדתה להררי-עז הסתרת פניך הייתי נבהל | 7 |
Thou, O LORD! by thy favor, hast made my mountain to stand strong; Thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled!
| אליך יהוה אקרא ואל-אדני אתחנן | 8 |
I cried unto thee, O LORD! To the LORD I made supplication:
| מה-בצע בדמי ברדתי אל-שחת היודך עפר היגיד אמתך | 9 |
“What will my blood profit thee, that I should go down to the pit? Can dust praise thee? Can it declare thy faithfulness?
| שמע-יהוה וחנני יהוה היה-עזר לי | 10 |
Hear, O LORD! and have pity upon me! Be thou, LORD! my helper!”
| הפכת מספדי למחול לי פתחת שקי ותאזרני שמחה | 11 |
Thou didst turn my mourning into dancing; Thou didst loose my sackcloth, and gird me with gladness.
| למען יזמרך כבוד-- ולא ידם יהוה אלהי לעולם אודך | 12 |
Therefore I will sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Jehovah, my God! I will give thanks to thee for ever!
