תהילים 20

1 למנצח מזמור לדוד ב יענך יהוה ביום צרה ישגבך שם אלהי יעקב

To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid. The Lord heare thee in the day of trouble: the name of ye God of Iaakob defend thee:

2 ישלח-עזרך מקדש ומציון יסעדך

Send thee helpe from the Sanctuarie, and strengthen thee out of Zion.

3 יזכר כל-מנחתך ועולתך ידשנה סלה

Let him remember all thine offerings, and turne thy burnt offerings into asshes. (Selah)

4 יתן-לך כלבבך וכל-עצתך ימלא

And graunt thee according to thine heart, and fulfill all thy purpose:

5 נרננה בישועתך-- ובשם-אלהינו נדגל ימלא יהוה כל-משאלותיך

That we may reioyce in thy saluation, and set vp the banner in the Name of our God, when the Lord shall performe all thy petitions.

6 עתה ידעתי-- כי הושיע יהוה משיחו יענהו משמי קדשו-- בגברות ישע ימינו

Now know I that the Lord will helpe his anointed, and will heare him from his Sanctuarie, by the mightie helpe of his right hand.

7 אלה ברכב ואלה בסוסים ואנחנו בשם-יהוה אלהינו נזכיר

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the Name of ye Lord our God.

8 המה כרעו ונפלו ואנחנו קמנו ונתעודד

They are brought downe and fallen, but we are risen, and stand vpright.

9 יהוה הושיעה המלך יעננו ביום-קראנו

Saue Lord: let the King heare vs in the day that we call.
