תהילים 128

1 שיר המעלות אשרי כל-ירא יהוה-- ההלך בדרכיו

Blessed is everyone who fears Adonai, who walks in his ways.

2 יגיע כפיך כי תאכל אשריך וטוב לך

For you will eat the labor of your hands. You will be happy, and it will be well with you.

3 אשתך כגפן פריה-- בירכתי ביתך בניך כשתלי זיתים-- סביב לשלחנך

Your wife will be as a fruitful vine, in the innermost parts of your house; your children like olive plants, around your table.

4 הנה כי-כן יברך גבר-- ירא יהוה

Behold, thus is the man blessed who fears Adonai.

5 יברכך יהוה מציון וראה בטוב ירושלם--כל ימי חייך

May Adonai bless you out of Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking], and may you see the good of Jerusalem [City of peace] all the days of your life.

6 וראה-בנים לבניך שלום על-ישראל

Yes, may you see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel [God prevails].
