תהילים 121

1 שיר למעלות אשא עיני אל-ההרים-- מאין יבא עזרי

A song of ascents. I will lift up my eyes to the mountains. From where will my help come?

2 עזרי מעם יהוה-- עשה שמים וארץ

My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.

3 אל-יתן למוט רגלך אל-ינום שמרך

He will not allow your foot to slip; he who protects you will not slumber.

4 הנה לא-ינום ולא יישן-- שומר ישראל

See, the guardian of Israel never slumbers or sleeps.

5 יהוה שמרך יהוה צלך על-יד ימינך

Yahweh is your guardian; Yahweh is the shade at your right hand.

6 יומם השמש לא-יככה וירח בלילה

The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

7 יהוה ישמרך מכל-רע ישמר את-נפשך

Yahweh will protect you from all harm, and he will protect your life.

8 יהוה ישמר-צאתך ובואך-- מעתה ועד-עולם

Yahweh will protect you in all you do now and forevermore.
