תהילים 111

1 הללו-יה אודה יהוה בכל-לבב בסוד ישרים ועדה

Praise ye Yah! I will give thanks unto Yahweh, with a whole heart, in the circle of the upright and the assembly.

2 גדלים מעשי יהוה דרושים לכל-חפציהם

Great are the works of Yahweh, sought out, by all who find pleasure therein.

3 הוד-והדר פעלו וצדקתו עמדת לעד

Honourable and majestic, is his doing, and, his righteousness, standeth for aye.

4 זכר עשה לנפלאותיו חנון ורחום יהוה

A memorial, hath he made by his wonders, Gracious and compassionate, is Yahweh.

5 טרף נתן ליראיו יזכר לעולם בריתו

Food, hath he given to them who revere him, He will remember, age-abidingly, his covenant.

6 כח מעשיו הגיד לעמו-- לתת להם נחלת גוים

The might of his works, hath he declared to his people, that he may give them the inheritance of the nations.

7 מעשי ידיו אמת ומשפט נאמנים כל-פקודיו

The works of his hands, are faithful and just, Firm are all his precepts;

8 סמוכים לעד לעולם עשוים באמת וישר

Upheld to futurity, to times age-abiding, done in faithfulness and equity.

9 פדות שלח לעמו-- צוה-לעולם בריתו קדוש ונורא שמו

Ransom, hath he sent to his people, He hath commanded, to times age-abiding, his covenant, Holy and reverend, is his Name.

10 ראשית חכמה יראת יהוה-- שכל טוב לכל-עשיהם תהלתו עמדת לעד

The beginning of wisdom, is the reverence of Yahweh, Good discretion, have all that do them, His praise, endureth for aye.
