ויקרא 2

1 ונפש כי תקריב קרבן מנחה ליהוה--סלת יהיה קרבנו ויצק עליה שמן ונתן עליה לבנה

“And when a person brings an offering near, a present to YHWH, [and] his offering is of flour, then he has poured oil on it, and has put frankincense on it;

2 והביאה אל בני אהרן הכהנים וקמץ משם מלא קמצו מסלתה ומשמנה על כל לבנתה והקטיר הכהן את אזכרתה המזבחה--אשה ריח ניחח ליהוה

and he has brought it to the sons of Aaron, the priests, and one [of the priests] has taken from there the fullness of his hand of its flour and of its oil, besides all its frankincense, and the priest has made incense with its memorial on the altar, a fire-offering of refreshing fragrance to YHWH;

3 והנותרת מן המנחה--לאהרן ולבניו קדש קדשים מאשי יהוה

and the remnant of the present [is] for Aaron and for his sons, most holy, of the fire-offerings of YHWH.

4 וכי תקרב קרבן מנחה מאפה תנור--סלת חלות מצת בלולת בשמן ורקיקי מצות משחים בשמן

And when you bring an offering near, a present baked in an oven, [it is of] unleavened cakes of flour mixed with oil, or thin unleavened cakes anointed with oil.

5 ואם מנחה על המחבת קרבנך--סלת בלולה בשמן מצה תהיה

And if your offering [is] a present [made] on the griddle, it is of flour, mixed with oil, unleavened;

6 פתות אתה פתים ויצקת עליה שמן מנחה הוא

divide it into parts, and you have poured oil on it; it [is] a present.

7 ואם מנחת מרחשת קרבנך--סלת בשמן תעשה

And if your offering [is] a present [made] on the frying-pan, it is made of flour with oil,

8 והבאת את המנחה אשר יעשה מאלה--ליהוה והקריבה אל הכהן והגישה אל המזבח

and you have brought in the present which is made of these to YHWH, and [one] has brought it near to the priest, and he has brought it near to the altar,

9 והרים הכהן מן המנחה את אזכרתה והקטיר המזבחה--אשה ריח ניחח ליהוה

and the priest has lifted up from the present its memorial, and has made incense on the altar, a fire-offering of refreshing fragrance to YHWH;

10 והנותרת מן המנחה--לאהרן ולבניו קדש קדשים מאשי יהוה

and the remnant of the present [is] for Aaron and for his sons, most holy, of the fire-offerings of YHWH.

11 כל המנחה אשר תקריבו ליהוה--לא תעשה חמץ כי כל שאר וכל דבש לא תקטירו ממנו אשה ליהוה

No present which you bring near to YHWH is made fermented, for you do not make incense [as] a fire-offering to YHWH with any leaven or any honey.

12 קרבן ראשית תקריבו אתם ליהוה ואל המזבח לא יעלו לריח ניחח

An offering of first-[fruits]—you bring them near to YHWH, but they do not go up on the altar for refreshing fragrance.

13 וכל קרבן מנחתך במלח תמלח ולא תשבית מלח ברית אלהיך מעל מנחתך על כל קרבנך תקריב מלח

And every offering—your present—you season with salt, and you do not let the salt of the covenant of your God cease from your present; you bring salt near with all your offerings.

14 ואם תקריב מנחת בכורים ליהוה--אביב קלוי באש גרש כרמל תקריב את מנחת בכוריך

And if you bring a present of first-fruits near to YHWH, you bring the present of your first-fruits near of green ears, roasted with fire, beaten out [grain] of a fruitful field,

15 ונתת עליה שמן ושמת עליה לבנה מנחה הוא

and you have put oil on it, and laid frankincense on it, [for] it [is] a present;

16 והקטיר הכהן את אזכרתה מגרשה ומשמנה על כל לבנתה--אשה ליהוה

and the priest has made incense with its memorial from its beaten out [grain], and from its oil, besides all its frankincense, [as] a fire-offering to YHWH.”
