איוב 25

1 ויען בלדד השחי ויאמר

Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and sayd,

2 המשל ופחד עמו עשה שלום במרומיו

Power and feare is with him, that maketh peace in his hie places.

3 היש מספר לגדודיו ועל-מי לא-יקום אורהו

Is there any nomber in his armies? and vpon whom shall not his light arise?

4 ומה-יצדק אנוש עם-אל ומה-יזכה ילוד אשה

And howe may a man be iustified with God? or how can he be cleane, that is borne of woman?

5 הן עד-ירח ולא יאהיל וכוכבים לא-זכו בעיניו

Behold, he wil giue no light to the moone, and the starres are vncleane in his sight.

6 אף כי-אנוש רמה ובן-אדם תולעה

How much more man, a worme, euen the sonne of man, which is but a worme?
