| ולבני יששכר תולע ופואה ישיב (ישוב) ושמרון--ארבעה | 1 |
Of the sons of Issachar: Tola, and Puah, Jashub, and Shimron, four.
| ובני תולע עזי ורפיה ויריאל ויחמי ויבשם ושמואל ראשים לבית אבותם לתולע גבורי חיל לתלדותם--מספרם בימי דויד עשרים ושנים אלף ושש מאות | 2 |
The sons of Tola: Uzzi, and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Ibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their fathers' houses of Tola; mighty men of valor in their generations: their number in the days of David was twenty-two thousand six hundred.

The sons of Uzzi: Izrahiah. The sons of Izrahiah: Michael, and Obadiah, and Joel, and Isshiah. All five of them leaders.
| ועליהם לתלדותם לבית אבותם גדודי צבא מלחמה שלשים וששה אלף כי הרבו נשים ובנים | 4 |
With them, by their generations, after their fathers' houses, were bands of the army for war, thirty-six thousand; for they had many wives and sons.
| ואחיהם לכל משפחות יששכר גבורי חילים שמונים ושבעה אלף התיחשם לכל | 5 |
Their brothers among all the families of Issachar, mighty men of valor, reckoned in all by genealogy, were eighty-seven thousand.

The sons of Benjamin: Bela, and Beker, and Jediael, three.
| ובני בלע אצבון ועזי ועזיאל וירימות ועירי חמשה ראשי בית אבות גבורי חילים והתיחשם עשרים ושנים אלף ושלשים וארבעה | 7 |
The sons of Bela: Ezbon, and Uzzi, and Uzziel, and Jerimoth, and Iri, five; heads of ancestral houses, mighty men of valor; and they were reckoned by genealogy twenty-two thousand thirty-four.
| ובני בכר זמירה ויועש ואליעזר ואליועיני ועמרי וירמות ואביה וענתות ועלמת כל אלה בני בכר | 8 |
The sons of Beker: Zemirah, and Joash, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Jeremoth, and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these were the sons of Beker.
| והתיחשם לתלדותם ראשי בית אבותם גבורי חיל--עשרים אלף ומאתים | 9 |
They were reckoned by genealogy, after their generations, heads of their fathers' houses, mighty men of valor, twenty thousand two hundred.
| ובני ידיעאל בלהן ובני בלהן יעיש (יעוש) ובנימן ואהוד וכנענה וזיתן ותרשיש ואחישחר | 10 |
The sons of Jediael: Bilhan. The sons of Bilhan: Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Kenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahar.
| כל אלה בני ידיעאל לראשי האבות גבורי חילים--שבעה עשר אלף ומאתים יצאי צבא למלחמה | 11 |
All these were sons of Jediael, heads of their fathers' houses, mighty men of valor, seventeen thousand and two hundred, who were able to go forth in the army for war.

And Shuppim and Huppim were the sons of Ir, Hushim the son of Aher.
| בני נפתלי יחציאל וגוני ויצר ושלום--בני בלהה | 13 |
The sons of Naphtali: Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem, the sons of Bilhah.
| בני מנשה אשריאל אשר ילדה פילגשו הארמיה ילדה את מכיר אבי גלעד | 14 |
The sons of Manasseh: Asriel, whom his Aramean secondary wife bore; she bore Makir the father of Gilead.
| ומכיר לקח אשה לחפים ולשפים ושם אחתו מעכה ושם השני צלפחד ותהינה לצלפחד בנות | 15 |
And Makir took a wife of Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister's name was Maacah; and the name of the second was Zelophehad: and Zelophehad had daughters.
| ותלד מעכה אשת מכיר בן ותקרא שמו פרש ושם אחיו שרש ובניו אולם ורקם | 16 |
Maacah the wife of Makir bore a son, and she named him Parash; and the name of his brother was Sheresh; and his sons were Ulam and Rekem.
| ובני אולם בדן אלה בני גלעד בן מכיר בן מנשה | 17 |
The son of Ulam: Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead the son of Makir, the son of Manasseh.
| ואחתו המלכת--ילדה את אישהוד ואת אביעזר ואת מחלה | 18 |
His sister Hammoleketh bore Ishhod, and Abiezer, and Mahlah.
| ויהיו בני שמידע--אחין ושכם ולקחי ואניעם | 19 |
The sons of Shemida were Ahian, and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.
| ובני אפרים שותלח וברד בנו ותחת בנו ואלעדה בנו ותחת בנו | 20 |
The sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah, and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eleadah his son, and Tahath his son,
| וזבד בנו ושותלח בנו ועזר ואלעד והרגום אנשי גת הנולדים בארץ כי ירדו לקחת את מקניהם | 21 |
and Zabad his son, and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer, and Elead, whom the men of Gath who were born in the land killed, because they came down to take away their livestock.
| ויתאבל אפרים אביהם ימים רבים ויבאו אחיו לנחמו | 22 |
Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brothers came to comfort him.
| ויבא אל אשתו ותהר ותלד בן ויקרא את שמו בריעה כי ברעה היתה בביתו | 23 |
He went in to his wife, and she conceived, and bore a son, and he named him Beriah, because tragedy had come to his house.
| ובתו שארה ותבן את בית חורון התחתון ואת העליון ואת אזן שארה | 24 |
His daughter was Sheerah, who built Lower and Upper Beth Horon, and Uzzen Sheerah.
| ורפח בנו ורשף ותלח בנו--ותחן בנו | 25 |
Rephah was his son, and Resheph his son, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son,
| לעדן בנו עמיהוד בנו אלישמע בנו | 26 |
Ladan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son,
| נון בנו יהושע בנו | 27 |
Nun his son, Joshua his son.
| ואחזתם ומשבותם--בית אל ובנתיה ולמזרח נערן--ולמערב גזר ובנתיה ושכם ובנתיה עד עיה ובנתיה | 28 |
Their possessions and habitations were Bethel and its towns, and eastward Naaran, and westward Gezer, with its towns; Shechem also and its towns, to Aiah and its towns;
| ועל ידי בני מנשה בית שאן ובנתיה תענך ובנתיה מגדו ובנותיה דור ובנותיה באלה ישבו בני יוסף בן ישראל | 29 |
and by the borders of the people of Manasseh, Beth Shean and its towns, Taanach and its towns, Ibleam and its towns, Megiddo and its towns, Dor and its towns. In these lived the people of Joseph the son of Israel.

The sons of Asher: Jimnah, and Jishvah, and Jishvi, and Beriah, and Serah their sister.
| ובני בריעה חבר ומלכיאל הוא אבי ברזות (ברזית) | 31 |
The sons of Beriah: Heber, and Malkiel, who was the father of Birzaith.
| וחבר הוליד את יפלט ואת שומר ואת חותם ואת שועא אחותם | 32 |
Heber became the father of Japhlet, and Shemer, and Helem, and Shua their sister.
| ובני יפלט פסך ובמהל ועשות אלה בני יפלט | 33 |
The sons of Japhlet: Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These are the sons of Japhlet.
| ובני שמר--אחי ורוהגה (ורהגה) יחבה (וחבה) וארם | 34 |
The sons of Shemer his brother: Rohgah, and Hubbah, and Aram.
| ובן הלם אחיו צופח וימנע ושלש ועמל | 35 |
The sons of Helem his brother: Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh, and Amal.
| בני צופח--סוח וחרנפר ושועל וברי וימרה | 36 |
The sons of Zophah: Suah, and Harnepher, and Shual. And the sons of Imna:
| בצר והוד ושמא ושלשה ויתרן--ובארא | 37 |
Bezer, and Hod, and Shamma, and Shilshah, and Jether, and Beera.
| ובני יתר--יפנה ופספה וארא | 38 |
The sons of Jether: Jephunneh, and Pispa, and Ara.
| ובני עלא--ארח וחניאל ורציא | 39 |
The sons of Ulla: Arah, and Hanniel, and Rizia.
| כל אלה בני אשר ראשי בית האבות ברורים גבורי חילים ראשי הנשיאים והתיחשם בצבא במלחמה מספרם אנשים עשרים וששה אלף | 40 |
All these were the people of Asher, heads of ancestral houses, choice and mighty men of valor, chief of the princes. The number of them reckoned by genealogy for service in war was twenty-six thousand men.
