The sonnes of Leui were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
| ובני קהת--עמרם יצהר וחברון ועזיאל | 2 |
And the sonnes of Kohath, Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Vzziel.
| ובני עמרם אהרן ומשה ומרים ובני אהרן--נדב ואביהוא אלעזר ואיתמר | 3 |
And the children of Amram, Aaron, and Moses and Miriam. And the sonnes of Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.
| אלעזר הוליד את פינחס פינחס הליד את אבישוע | 4 |
Eleazar begate Phinehas. Phinehas begate Abishua,
| ואבישוע הוליד את בקי ובקי הוליד את עזי | 5 |
And Abishua begate Bukki, and Bukki begate Vzzi,
| ועזי הוליד את זרחיה וזרחיה הוליד את מריות | 6 |
And Vzzi begate Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begate Meraioth.
| מריות הוליד את אמריה ואמריה הוליד את אחיטוב | 7 |
Meraioth begate Amariah, and Amariah begate Ahitub,
| ואחיטוב הוליד את צדוק וצדוק הוליד את אחימעץ | 8 |
And Ahitub begate Zadok, and Zadok begate Ahimaaz,
| ואחימעץ הוליד את עזריה ועזריה הוליד את יוחנן | 9 |
And Ahimaaz begate Azariah, and Azariah begate Iohanan,
| ויוחנן הוליד את עזריה הוא אשר כהן בבית אשר בנה שלמה בירושלם | 10 |
And Iohanan begate Azariah (it was hee that was Priest in the house that Salomon built in Ierusalem)
| ויולד עזריה את אמריה ואמריה הוליד את אחיטוב | 11 |
And Azariah begate Amariah, and Amariah begate Ahitub,
| ואחיטוב הוליד את צדוק וצדוק הוליד את שלום | 12 |
And Ahitub begate Zadok, and Zadok begate Shallum,
| ושלום הוליד את חלקיה וחלקיה הוליד את עזריה | 13 |
And Shallum begate Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begate Azariah,
| ועזריה הוליד את שריה ושריה הוליד את יהוצדק | 14 |
And Azariah begate Seraiah, and Seraiah begate Iehozadak,
| ויהוצדק הלך--בהגלות יהוה את יהודה וירושלם ביד נבכדנאצר | 15 |
And Iehozadak departed when the Lord caried away into captiuitie Iudah and Ierusalem by the hand of Nebuchad-nezzar.

The sonnes of Leui were Gershom, Kohath and Merari.
| ואלה שמות בני גרשום לבני ושמעי | 17 |
And these be the names of the sonnes of Gershom, Libni, and Shimei.
| ובני קהת--עמרם ויצהר וחברון ועזיאל | 18 |
And the sonnes of Kohath were Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron and Vzziel.
| בני מררי מחלי ומשי ואלה משפחות הלוי לאבתיהם | 19 |
The sonnes of Merari, Mahli and Mushi: and these are the families of Leui concerning their fathers.
| לגרשום--לבני בנו יחת בנו זמה בנו | 20 |
Of Gershom, Libni his sonne, Iahath his sonne, Zimmah his sonne,
| יואח בנו עדו בנו זרח בנו יאתרי בנו | 21 |
Ioah his sonne, Iddo his sonne, Zerah his sonne, Ieaterai his sonne.
| בני קהת--עמינדב בנו קרח בנו אסיר בנו | 22 |
The sonnes of Kohath, Aminadab his sonne, Korah his sonne, Assir his sonne,
| אלקנה בנו ואביסף בנו ואסיר בנו | 23 |
Elkanah his sonne, and Ebiasaph his sonne, and Assir his sonne,
| תחת בנו אוריאל בנו עזיה בנו ושאול בנו | 24 |
Tahath his sonne, Vriel his sonne, Vzziah his sonne, and Shaul his sonne,
| ובני אלקנה--עמשי ואחימות | 25 |
And the sonnes of Elkanah, Amasai, and Ahimoth.
| אלקנה--בנו (בני) אלקנה צופי בנו ונחת בנו | 26 |
Elkanah. the sonnes of Elkanah, Zophai his sonne, and Nahath his sonne,
| אליאב בנו ירחם בנו אלקנה בנו | 27 |
Eliab his sonne, Ieroham his sonne, Elkanah his sonne,
| ובני שמואל הבכר ושני ואביה | 28 |
And the sonnes of Shemuel, the eldest Vashni, then Abiah.
| בני מררי מחלי לבני בנו שמעי בנו עזה בנו | 29 |
The sonnes of Merari were Mahli, Libni his sonne, Shimei his sonne, Vzzah his sonne,
| שמעא בנו חגיה בנו עשיה בנו | 30 |
Shimea his sonne, Haggiah his sonne, Asaiah his sonne.
| ואלה אשר העמיד דויד על ידי שיר--בית יהוה ממנוח הארון | 31 |
And these be they whom Dauid set for to sing in the house of the Lord, after that the Arke had rest.
| ויהיו משרתים לפני משכן אהל מועד בשיר עד בנות שלמה את בית יהוה בירושלם ויעמדו כמשפטם על עבודתם | 32 |
And they ministred before the Tabernacle, euen the Tabernacle of the Congregation with singing, vntill Salomon had built ye house of the Lord in Ierusalem: then they continued in their office, according to their custome.
| ואלה העמדים ובניהם מבני הקהתי--הימן המשורר בן יואל בן שמואל | 33 |
And these ministred with their children: of the sonnes of Kohath, Heman a singer, the sonne of Ioel, the sonne of Shemuel,
| בן אלקנה בן ירחם בן אליאל בן תוח | 34 |
The sonne of Elkanah, the sonne of Ieroham, the sonne of Eliel, the sonne of Toah,
| בן ציף (צוף) בן אלקנה בן מחת בן עמשי | 35 |
The sonne of Zuph, the sonne of Elkanah, the sonne of Mahath, the sonne of Amasai,
| בן אלקנה בן יואל בן עזריה בן צפניה | 36 |
The sonne of Elkanah, the sonne of Ioel, the sonne of Azariah, the sonne of Zephaniah,
| בן תחת בן אסיר בן אביסף בן קרח | 37 |
The sonne of Tahath, the sonne of Assir, the sonne of Ebiasaph, the sonne of Korah,
| בן יצהר בן קהת בן לוי בן ישראל | 38 |
The sonne of Izhar, the sonne of Kohath, the sonne of Leui, the sonne of Israel.
| ואחיו אסף העמד על ימינו--אסף בן ברכיהו בן שמעא | 39 |
And his brother Asaph stoode on his right hand: and Asaph was the sonne of Berechiah, the sonne of Shimea,
| בן מיכאל בן בעשיה בן מלכיה | 40 |
The sonne of Michael, the sonne of Baaseiah, the sonne of Malchiah,
| בן אתני בן זרח בן עדיה | 41 |
The sonne of Ethni, the sonne of Zerah, the sonne of Adaiah,
| בן איתן בן זמה בן שמעי | 42 |
The sonne of Ethan, the sonne of Zimmah, the sonne of Shimei,
| בן יחת בן גרשם בן לוי | 43 |
The sonne of Iahath, the sonne of Gershom, the sonne of Leui.
| ובני מררי אחיהם על השמאול--איתן בן קישי בן עבדי בן מלוך | 44 |
And their brethren the sonnes of Merari were on the left hand, euen Ethan the sonne of Kishi, the sonne of Abdi, the sonne of Malluch,
| בן חשביה בן אמציה בן חלקיה | 45 |
The sonne of Hashabiah, the sonne of Amaziah, the sonne of Hilkiah,
| בן אמצי בן בני בן שמר | 46 |
The sonne of Amzi, the sonne of Bani, the sonne of Shamer,
| בן מחלי בן מושי בן מררי בן לוי | 47 |
The sonne of Mahli, the sonne of Mushi, the sonne of Merari, the sonne of Leui.
| ואחיהם הלוים נתונים--לכל עבודת משכן בית האלהים | 48 |
And their brethren the Leuites were appointed vnto all the seruice of the Tabernacle of the house of God,
| ואהרן ובניו מקטירים על מזבח העולה ועל מזבח הקטרת לכל מלאכת קדש הקדשים ולכפר על ישראל ככל אשר צוה משה עבד האלהים | 49 |
But Aaron and his sonnes burnt incense vpon the altar of burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, for all that was to do in the most holy place, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the seruant of God had commanded.
| ואלה בני אהרן--אלעזר בנו פינחס בנו אבישוע בנו | 50 |
These are also the sonnes of Aaron, Eleazar his sonne, Phinehas his sonne, Abishua his sonne,
| בקי בנו עזי בנו זרחיה בנו | 51 |
Bukki his sonne, Vzzi his sonne, Zerahiah his sonne,
| מריות בנו אמריה בנו אחיטוב בנו | 52 |
Meraioth his sonne, Amariah his sonne, Ahitub his sonne,
| צדוק בנו אחימעץ בנו | 53 |
Zadok his sonne, and Ahimaaz his sonne.
| ואלה מושבותם לטירותם בגבולם--לבני אהרן למשפחת הקהתי כי להם היה הגורל | 54 |
And these are the dwelling places of them throughout their townes and coastes, euen of the sonnes of Aaron for the familie of the Kohathites, for the lot was theirs.
| ויתנו להם את חברון בארץ יהודה ואת מגרשיה סביבתיה | 55 |
So they gaue them Hebron in the lande of Iudah and the suburbes thereof rounde about it.
| ואת שדה העיר ואת חצריה--נתנו לכלב בן יפנה | 56 |
But the fielde of the citie, and the villages thereof they gaue to Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh.
| ולבני אהרן נתנו את ערי המקלט--את חברון ואת לבנה ואת מגרשיה ואת יתר ואת אשתמע ואת מגרשיה | 57 |
And to the sonnes of Aaron they gaue the cities of Iudah for refuge, euen Hebron and Libna with their suburbes, and Iattir, and Eshtemoa with their suburbes,
| ואת חילז ואת מגרשיה את דביר ואת מגרשיה | 58 |
And Hilen with her suburbes, and Debir with her suburbes,
| ואת עשן ואת מגרשיה ואת בית שמש ואת מגרשיה | 59 |
And Ashan and her suburbes, and Bethshemesh and her suburbes:
| וממטה בנימן את גבע ואת מגרשיה ואת עלמת ואת מגרשיה ואת ענתות ואת מגרשיה כל עריהם שלש עשרה עיר במשפחותיהם | 60 |
And of the tribe of Beniamin, Geba and her suburbes, and Alemeth with her suburbes, and Anathoth with her suburbes: all their cities were thirteene cities by their families.
| ולבני קהת הנותרים ממשפחת המטה ממחצית מטה חצי מנשה בגורל--ערים עשר | 61 |
And vnto the sonnes of Kohath the remnant of the familie of the tribe, euen of the halfe tribe of the halfe of Manasseh, by lot ten cities.
| ולבני גרשום למשפחותם ממטה יששכר וממטה אשר וממטה נפתלי וממטה מנשה בבשן--ערים שלש עשרה | 62 |
And to the sonnes of Gershom according to their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteene cities.
| לבני מררי למשפחותם ממטה ראובן וממטה גד וממטה זבלון בגורל--ערים שתים עשרה | 63 |
Vnto the sonnes of Merari according to their families out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, by lot twelue cities.
| ויתנו בני ישראל ללוים את הערים ואת מגרשיהם | 64 |
Thus the children of Israel gaue to the Leuites cities with their suburbes.
| ויתנו בגורל ממטה בני יהודה וממטה בני שמעון וממטה בני בנימן--את הערים האלה אשר יקראו אתהם בשמות | 65 |
And they gaue by lot out of the tribe of the children of Iudah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Beniamin, these cities, which they called by their names.
| וממשפחות בני קהת--ויהי ערי גבולם ממטה אפרים | 66 |
And they of the families of the sonnes of Kohath, had cities and their coastes out of the tribe of Ephraim.
| ויתנו להם את ערי המקלט את שכם ואת מגרשיה--בהר אפרים ואת גזר ואת מגרשיה | 67 |
And they gaue vnto them cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim, and her suburbes, and Gezer and her suburbes,
| ואת יקמעם ואת מגרשיה ואת בית חורון ואת מגרשיה | 68 |
Iokmeam also and her suburbes, and Bethhoron with her suburbes,
| ואת אילון ואת מגרשיה ואת גת רמון ואת מגרשיה | 69 |
And Aialon and her suburbes, and Gath Rimmon and her suburbes,
| וממחצית מטה מנשה את ענר ואת מגרשיה ואת בלעם ואת מגרשיה--למשפחת לבני קהת הנותרים | 70 |
And out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Aner and her suburbes, and Bileam and her suburbes, for the families of the remnant of the sonnes of Kohath.
| לבני גרשום--ממשפחת חצי מטה מנשה את גולן בבשן ואת מגרשיה ואת עשתרות ואת מגרשיה | 71 |
Vnto the sonnes of Gershom out of the familie of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan, and her suburbes, and Ashtaroth with her suburbes,
| וממטה יששכר את קדש ואת מגרשיה את דברת ואת מגרשיה | 72 |
And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedesh and her suburbes, Daberath and her suburbes,
| ואת ראמות ואת מגרשיה ואת ענם ואת מגרשיה | 73 |
Ramoth also and her suburbes, and Anem with her suburbes,
| וממטה אשר את משל ואת מגרשיה ואת עבדון ואת מגרשיה | 74 |
And out of the tribe of Asher, Mashal and her suburbes, and Abdon and her suburbes,
| ואת חוקק ואת מגרשיה ואת רחב ואת מגרשיה | 75 |
And Hukok and her suburbs, and Rehob and her suburbes,
| וממטה נפתלי את קדש בגליל ואת מגרשיה ואת חמון ואת מגרשיה ואת קריתים ואת מגרשיה | 76 |
And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilea and her suburbes, and Hammon and her suburbes, and Kiriathaim and her suburbes.
| לבני מררי הנותרים--ממטה זבלון את רמונו ואת מגרשיה את תבור ואת מגרשיה | 77 |
Vnto the rest of the children of Merari were giuen out of ye tribe of Zebulun Rimmon and her suburbes, Tabor and her suburbes,
| ומעבר לירדן ירחו למזרח הירדן--ממטה ראובן את בצר במדבר ואת מגרשיה ואת יהצה ואת מגרשיה | 78 |
And on the other side Iorden by Iericho, euen on the Eastside of Iorden, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wildernesse with her suburbes, and Iahzah with her suburbes,
| ואת קדמות ואת מגרשיה ואת מיפעת ואת מגרשיה | 79 |
And Kedemoth with her suburbes, and Mephaath with her suburbes,
| וממטה גד--את ראמות בגלעד ואת מגרשיה ואת מחנים ואת מגרשיה | 80 |
And out of the tribe of Gad Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbes, and Mahanaim with her suburbes,
| ואת חשבון ואת מגרשיה ואת יעזיר ואת מגרשיה | 81 |
And Heshbon with her suburbes, and Iaazer with her suburbes.
