1 KE noho aupuni nei o Iehova, e hauoli mai ka honua; E olioli hoi ka lehulehu o kona mau mokupuni.
Yahweh, hath become king, Let the earth exult, Let the multitude of coastlands rejoice.
2 Ua puni oia i na ao, a me ka pouli; O ka pono, a me ka hooponoponoia, oia ke kumu o kona nohoalii.
Clouds and thick darkness, are round about him, Righteousness and justice, are the establishing of his throne.
3 Ke hele aku nei ke ahi ma kona alo, A hoopau no oia koua poe enemi a puni.
Fire, before him, proceedeth, That it may consume, round about, his adversaries.
4 Hoomalamalama mai la kona mau uwila i ke ao nei; Ike aku la ka honua, a haalulu iho la.
His lightnings, have illumined, the world, The earth, hath seen, and hath trembled;
5 Hehee wale na mauna me he kepau la i ke alo o Iehova, I ke alo o ka Haku hoi o ka honua a pau.
The mountains, like wax, have melted, At the presence of Yahweh, At the presence, of the Lord of all the earth.
6 Ua hoike mai na lani i kona pono, Ua ike aku no hoi na lahuikanaka i kona nani
The heavens, have declared, his righteousness, —And all the peoples, have seen, his glory.
7 E hoohilahilaia ka poe a pau i malama i na kiikalaiia, Ka poe a pau i kaena ma na'kua wahahee: E hoomana oukou ia ia, e na'kua a pau.
Let all who serve an image, be ashamed, They who boast themselves in things of nought, Bow down unto him, all ye gods.
8 Lohe ae la o Ziona, a hauoli mai la; Olioli no hoi na kaikamahine o ka Iuda, No kou hoopopono ana, e Iehova.
Zion, hath heard and rejoiced, And the daughters of Judah, have exulted, Because of thy righteous decisions, O Yahweh:
9 No ka mea, o oe, o Iehova, ka mea kiekie maluna o ka honua a pau; Ua hookiekieia oe maluna loa o na'kua a pau.
For, thou, Yahweh, art Most High over all the earth, Greatly hast thou exalted thyself above all gods.
10 E ka poe aloha ia Iehova, e inaina aku oukou i ka hewa; E malama no oia i ka uhane o kona poe haipule, Hoopakele no oia ia lakou i ka lima o ka poe hewa.
Ye lovers of Yahweh! be haters of wrong, —He preserveth the lives of his men of lovingkindness, From the hand of the lawless, will he rescue them.
11 Ua luluia ka malamalama no ka poe pono, A me ka olioli hoi no ka poe pololei ma ka naau.
Light, is sown for the righteous one, And, for the upright in heart, rejoicing:
12 E ka poe pono, e hauoli oukou ia Iehova; A e hooho hauoli hoi i ka hoomanao aua i kona pono.
Rejoice, ye righteous, in Yahweh, And give ye thanks, at the mention of his holiness.
