And the Lord spake vnto Moses, and to Aaron, saying,

Euery man of the children of Israel shall campe by his standerd, and vnder the ensigne of their fathers house: farre off about the Tabernacle of the Congregation shall they pitch.

3 Ma ka aoao hikina, ma ka puka ana o ka la e noho ai ka poe no ka hae o ka Iuda hoomoana ana, ma ko lakou poe kaua: a o Nahesona ke keiki a Aminadaba, oia ka luna no na mamo a Iuda.

On the East side towarde the rising of the sunne, shall they of the standerd of the hoste of Iudah pitch according to their armies: and Nahshon the sonne of Amminadab shalbe captaine of the sonnes of Iudah.

And his hoste and the nomber of the were seuentie and foure thousande and sixe hundreth.

5 A o ka poe e noho kokoke ia ia, oia ka ohana a Isakara; a o Netaneela ke keiki a Zuara, oia ka luna o na mamo a Isakara.

Next vnto him shall they of the tribe of Issachar pitch, and Nethaneel the sonne of Zuar shalbe the captaine of the sonnes of Issachar:

6 A o kona poe kaua, a o ka poe o lakou i heluia, he kanalimakumamaha tausani, me na haneri keu eha.

And his hoste, and the nomber thereof were foure and fiftie thousand, and foure hundreth.

7 O ka ohana hoi a Zebuluna; a o ka luna o na mamo a Zebuluna, oia o Eliaba ke keiki a Helona.

Then the tribe of Zebulun, and Eliab the sonne of Helon, captaine ouer the sonnes of Zebulun:

8 A o kona poe kana, a o ka poe o lakou i heluia, he kanalimakumamahiku tausani, a me na haneri keu eha.

And his hoste, and the nomber thereof seuen and fiftie thousand and foure hundreth:

9 O na mea a pau i heluia, ma kahi hoomoana o ka Iuda, hookahi ia haneri a me kanawalukumamaono tausani, a me na haneri keu eha, ma ko lakou poe kaua; o keia poe ke hele mamua.

The whole nomber of the hoste of Iudah are an hundreth fourescore and sixe thousande, and foure hundreth according to their armies: they shall first set foorth.

On the South side shalbe ye standerd of the host of Reuben according to their armies, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Reuben shalbe Elizur the sonne of Shedeur.

11 A o kona poe kaua, a o na mea o lakou i heluia, he kanahakumamaono tausani, a me na haneri elima.

And his host, and the nomber thereof sixe and fourty thousand and fiue hundreth.

12 A o ka poe e noho kokoke ia ia, o ka ohana a Simeona: a o ka luna o na mamo a Simeona, oia o Selumiela ke keiki a Zurisadai.

And by him shall the tribe of Simeon pitch, and the captaiue ouer the sonnes of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the sonne of Zurishaddai:

13 A o kona poe kaua, a o na mea o lakou i heluia, he kanalimakumamaiwa tausani, me na haneri keu ekolu.

And his hoste, and the nomber of them, nine and fiftie thousand and three hundreth.

14 Alaila o ka ohana a Gada; a o Eliasapa ke keiki a Reuela, oia ka luna o na mamo a Gada.

And the tribe of Gad, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Gad shall be Eliasaph the sonne of Deuel:

15 A o kona poe kaua, a o na mea o lakou i heluia, he kanahakumamalima tausani me na haneri eono, a me ke kanalima.

And his host and the nomber of the were fiue and fourtye thousande, sixe hundreth and fiftie.

16 O ka poe a pau i heluia ma kahi hoomoana o ka Reubena, hookahi ia haneri me kanalimakumamakahi tausani, eha haneri a me kanalima keu, ma ko lakou poe kaua: a o lakou ke hele ma ka lua o ka huakai.

All the nomber of the campe of Reuben were an hundreth and one and fiftie thousande, and foure hundreth and fiftie according to their armies, and they shall set foorth in the seconde place.

17 Alaila e neenee aku ka halelowa o ke anaina, me ka poo hoomoana o na Levi, iwaenakonu o ka poe hoomoana: e like me ko lakou hoomoana ana, pela no lakou e neenee aku ai, o kela kanaka keia kanaka ma kona wahi ma ko lakou hae.

Then the Tabernacle of the Congregation shall goe with the host of the Leuites, in the mids of the campe as they haue pitched, so shall they goe forwarde, euery man in his order according to their standerds.

The standerd of the campe of Ephraim shalbe toward the west according to their armies: and ye captaine ouer the sonnes of Ephraim shall be Elishama the sonne of Ammihud:

19 A o kona poe kaua, a me na mea o lakou i heluia, he kanaha tausani a me na haneri keu elima.

And his host and the nomber of the were fortie thousand and fiue hundreth.

20 A e pili ia ia ka ohana a Manage: a o ka luna o na mamo a Manase, oia o Gamaliela ke keiki a Pedazura.

And by him shalbe the tribe of Manasseh, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Manasseh shalbe Gamliel the sonne of Pedahzur:

21 A o kona poe kaua, a me na mea o lakou i heluia, he kanakolukumamalua tausani a me na haneri keu elua.

And his hoste and the nomber of them were two and thirtie thousand and two hundreth.

22 Alaila o ka ohana a Beniamina: a o ka luna o na mamo a Beniamina, oia o Abidana ke keiki a Gideoni.

And the tribe of Beniamin, and ye captaine ouer the sonnes of Beniamin shalbe Abidan the sonne of Gideoni:

23 A o kona poe kaua, a me ka poe o lakou i heluia, he kanakolukumamalima tausani a me na haneri ken eha.

And his host, and the nomber of the were fiue and thirtie thousand and foure hundreth.

24 O ka poe a pau i heluia no kahi hoomoana o ka Eperaima, hookahi ia haneri me kumamawalu tausani me ka haneri hookahi, ma ko lakou mau poe kaua: a e hele aku hoi lakou ma ke kolu o ka huakai.

All the nomber of the campe of Ephraim were an hundreth and eight thousande and one hundreth according to their armies, and they shall go in the third place.

25 Ma ka aoao akau ka hae o ka poe hoomoana o ka Dana ma ko lakou poe kaua: a o ka luna o na mamo a Dana, oia o Ahiezera ke keiki a Amisadai.

The standerd of the host of Dan shalbe toward the North according to their armies: and the captaine ouer the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the sonne of Ammishaddai:

26 A o kona poe kaua, a o na mea o lakou i heluia, he kanaonokumamalua tausani me na haneri keu ehiku.

And his host and the number of them were two and threescore thousand and seue hundreth.

27 A o ka poe hoomoana me ia, oia ka ohana a Asera: a o ka luna o na mamo a Asera, oia o Pagiela ke keiki a Okerana.

And by him shall the tribe of Asher pitch, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Asher shalbe Pagiel the sonne of Ocran.

28 O kona poe kaua, a me na mea o lakou i heluia, he kanahakumamakahi tausani a me na haneri keu elima.

And his host and the nomber of them were one and fourtie thousand and fiue hundreth.

29 Alaila ka ohana a Napetali: a o ka luna o na mamo a Napetali, oia o Ahira ke keiki a Enana.

Then the tribe of Naphtali, and the captaine ouer the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the sonne of Enan:

30 O kona poe kaua, a me na mea o lakou i heluia, he kanalimakumamakolu tausani a me na haneri keu eha.

And his host and the nomber of them were three and fiftie thousand and foure hundreth.

31 O ka poe a pau i heluia ma kahi hoomoana o Dana, hookahi haneri me kanalimakumamahiku tausani a me na haneri keu eono: a o lakou nei ke hele mahope me ko lakou mau hae.

All the nomber of the host of Dan was an hundreth and seuen and fiftie thousand and sixe hundreth: they shall goe hinmost with their standerdes.

32 O keia ka poe i heluia o na mamo a Iseraela, ma ko ka hale o ko lakou poe kupuna: o na mea a pau i heluia o na wahi hoomoana, ma ko lakou mau poe kaua, he aono haneri me ke kumamakolu tausani, me na haneri keu elima a me ke kanalima.

These are the summes of the childre of Israel by ye houses of their fathers, all the nomber of ye host, according to their armies, six hundreth and three thousand, fiue hundreth and fiftie.

33 Aka, aole i heluia na Levi me na mamo a Iseraela; e like me ka Iehova i kauoha mai ai ia Mose.

But the Leuites were not nombred among the children of Israel, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

34 A hana iho la na mamo a Iseraela e like me na mea a pau a Iehova i kauoha mai ai ia Mose: pela lakou i hoomoana ai ma ko lakou mau hae, a pela hoi lakou i hele aku ai, o kela mea keia mea mamu tili o ko lakou mau ohana, e like me ko ka hale o ko lakou poe kupuna.

And the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses: so they pitched according to their standards, and so they iourneyed euery one with his families, according to the houses of their fathers.
