Isaia 4
1 I A la la, e lalau aku no na wahine ehiku i ke kanaka hookahi, me ka olelo aku, E ai no makou i ka makou ai iho, A e komo no i ko makou lole; Ina e kapaia mai makou ma kou inoa, I mea e pau ai ko makou hoinoia.
And seven women will take hold of one man in that day, saying, Our own bread, will we eat, And our own apparel, will we wear, —Only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.
2 Ia la la, e puka mai ai ka Laia o Iehova, He hanohano, a he nani no hoi, E nani io no ka hua o ka aina, a me ka maikai, No ka poe i pakele o ka Iseraela.
In that day, Shall the Bud of Yahweh, become beautiful and glorious, —And the Fruit of the Land splendid and majestic, To the escaped of Israel.
3 A o ka mea i koe ma Ziona, A o ka mea i waihoia ma Ierusalema, E kapaia oia he hemolele, O na mea a pau i kakau pu ia me ka poe e ola ana ma Ierusalema;
And it shall come to pass—He that is left in Zion! And he that remaineth in Jerusalem, Shall be called, holy, —Everyone written unto life in Jerusalem.
4 A pau ka pelapela o na kaikamahine a Ziona i ka holoiia e ka Haku, A pau no hoi ke koko o Ierusalema i ka hemo, mai ona aku la, Ma ka mana o ka hoopono, A me ka mana o ke aa ana.
When My Lord shall have bathed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, And the blood-guiltiness of Jerusalem, he shall wash away out of her midst, —By the spirit of judgment, and By the spirit of thorough cleansing,
5 Alaila, na Iehova no e hana, Maluna o na wahi a pau o ka mauna Ziona, A maluna hoi o na aha halawai ona, I ao i ka la, a me ka uwahi, A i malamalama o ke ahi lapalapa i ka po; No ka mea, e kau mai no ka malu maluna o na mea nani a pau.
Then will Yahweh, create—Over all the home of Mount Zion and Over her assembly, A cloud by day and a smoke, And the shining of a fire-flame, by night, —For over all the glory, shall be a canopy;
6 He halelewa no e malu ai i ke ao, no ka wela, He puuhonua, a he wahi malu hoi, No ka ino, a me ka ua.
And a pavilion, shall there be For a shade by day, from the heat, —and For a refuge and for a shelter, from storm and from rain.
