“Speak also to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Most certainly you shall keep my Sabbaths; for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you.
14 Nolaila oukou e malama'i i ka sabati; no ka mea, ua hoanoia ia no oukou, O kela mea keia mea hoohaumia ia la, e oiaio no e pepehiia oia: no ka mea, o ka mea hana i ka hana ia la, e okiia kela kanaka, mai kona poe kanaka aku.
You shall keep the Sabbath therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
15 Eono la e hanain'i ka hana, aka o ka hiku, he sabati ia e hoomaha'i, he mea laa no Iehova, o ka mea hana i kekahi hana i ka sabati, e oiaio no e pepehiia oia.
Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the LORD. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall surely be put to death.
16 A e malama na mamo a Iseraela i ka sabati e hooponopono i ka sabati, i ko lakou hanauna, i berita mau loa.
Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
