And it went up [the] layer of dew and there! [was] on [the] surface of the wilderness thin [stuff] flake-like thin [stuff] like frost on the ground.
15 A ike aku la na mamo a Iseraela, olelo ae la kekahi o na kanaka i kona hoa, Heaha keia? no ka mea, aole lakou i ike ia mea. Olelo mai la o Mose ia lakou, Eia ka ai a Iehova i haawi mai ai, i mea na oukou o ai ai.
And they saw [the] people of Israel and they said each to brother his what? [is] it for not they knew what? [was] it and he said Moses to them it [is] the bread which he has given Yahweh to you to food.
16 Eia hoi ka olelo a Iehova i kauoha mai ai, E hoiliili ke kanaka ia mea, e like me ka kona waha e ai ai, hookahi kanaka hookahi omera; e lawe oukou a pau e like me ka nui o ko oukou poe, o kela kanaka keia kanaka no ka poe o kona halelewa.
This [is] the word which he commands Yahweh gather some of it everyone to [the] mouth of food his an omer for the head [the] number of people your everyone for [those] who [are] in tent his you will take.
17 Hana iho la na mamo a Iseraela pela, a he nui ka kekahi i hoiliili ai, a he uuku iho ka kekahi.
And they did so [the] people of Israel and they gathered [it] the [one who] made much and the [one who] made little.
18 A i ko lakou ana ana ma ka omera, o ka mea hoiliili nui, aohe ana i koe, a o ka mea hoiliili uuku, aole hoi i emi kana: hoiliili kela kanaka keia kanaka e like me ka kona waha i ai ai.
And they measured [it] by the omer and not he had a surplus the [one who] made much and the [one who] made little not he had a lack everyone to [the] mouth of food his they had gathered.
19 I aku la o Mose ia lakou, Mai hookoe kekahi kanaka ia mea a kakahiaka.
And he said Moses to them everyone may not him leave over any of it until morning.
20 Aole nae lakou i hoolohe mai i ka Mose; hookoe no kekahi ia mea a kakahiaka, a piha iho la ia i na ilo, a pilau no hoi: a huhu aku la o Mose ia lakou.
And not they listened to Moses and they left over people some of it until morning and it became rotten worms and it stank and he was angry towards them Moses.

And it was - on the day sixth they gathered bread of double two omer[s] for the one and they came all [the] leaders of the congregation and they told to Moses.
And he said to them it [is that] which he said Yahweh a sabbath observance a sabbath of holiness to Yahweh [is] tomorrow [that] which you will bake bake and [that] which you will boil boil and all the surplus leave for yourselves for keeping until the morning.
24 Hoana e no lakou ia mea, a kakahiaka, e like me ka Mose i kauoha mai ai; aole hoi ia i pilau, aohe ilo hoi maloko o ia mea.

And it was on the day seventh they went out some of the people to gather [it] and not they found [it].
28 Olelo mai la o Iehova ia Mose, Pehea la ka loihi o ko oukou hoole ana, aole e malama i ka'u mau kauoha, a me ko'u mau kanawai?
And he said Yahweh to Moses until when? have you refused to keep commandments my and laws my.
29 E nana hoi, no ka mea, ua haawi aku o Iehova ia oukou i ka sabati: no ia mea, ua haawi aku la ia na oukou ma ke ono o ka la, i ai no na la elua; e noho oukou, o keia kanaka keia kanaka ma kona wahi iho; mai hele ke kanaka mai kona wahi aku i ka la sabati.
Consider that Yahweh he has given to you the sabbath there-fore he [is] giving to you on the day sixth bread of two days remain - everyone in place his may not him go out anyone from place his on the day seventh.
30 A hoomaha iho la na kanaka ma ka hiku o ka la.

And they called [the] household of Israel name its manna and it [was] like [the] seed of coriander white and taste its [was] like a wafer with honey.
32 I mai la o Mose, Eia ka mea a Iehova i kauoha mai nei, E hoopiha i kekahi omera o ia mea, i malama loa ia no kau poe mamo; i ike lakou i ka ai a'u i hanai aku ai ia oukou ma ka waonahele, i ka wa a'u i lawe mai ai ia oukou mai ka aina o Aigupita mai.
And he said Moses this [is] the word which he commands Yahweh [the] fullness of the omer of it [will be] for keeping to generations your so that - they may see the bread which I caused to eat you in the wilderness when brought out I you from [the] land of Egypt.
33 I ae la o Mose ia Aarona, E lawe oe i ipu, a e hahao iloko i kekahi omera a piha i ka mane, a e hoana e imua i ke alo o Iehova, i malama loa ia ia mea no kau poe mamo.
And he said Moses to Aaron take a jar one and put there [the] fullness of the omer manna and deposit it before Yahweh for keeping to generations your.
34 E like me ka mea a Iehova i kauoha mai ai ia Mose, pela i hoana e ai o Aarona ia mea imua i ke alo o ke kanawai e malama loa ia'i.
Just as he had commanded Yahweh to Moses and he deposited it Aaron before the testimony for keeping.
35 Ai iho la na mamo o Iseraela i ka mane hookahi kanaha makahiki, a hiki lakou i ka aina kanaka; ai no lakou i ka mane, a hiki lakou i ke kihi o ka aina i Kanaana.

36 Hookahi omera, he hapanmi ia no ka epa.
And the omer [is] [the] tenth [part] of the ephah it.
