And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, to provide for the king and his household; each one's turn came to supply for a month in the year.

And thus the officers provided king Solomon: and [they execute] every one in his month all the orders for the table of the king, they omit nothing.

And these [were] the requisite supplies for Solomon: in one day thirty measures of fine flour, and sixty measures of fine pounded meal,

and ten choice calves, and twenty pastured oxen, and a hundred sheep, besides stags, and choice fatted does.

For he had dominion on this side the river, and he was at peace on all sides round about.
25 Noho maluhia ae la o ka Iuda a me ka Iseraela, kela kanaka keia kanaka, malalo o kona kumuwaina iho a malalo o kona laaufiku iho, mai Dana a Bereseba, i na la a pau o Solomona.
26 Ia Solomona na wahi e ku ai na lio, he kanaha tausani, no kona mau kaa, a me na kanaka hololio he umikumamalua haneri.
27 A ua hoomakaukau kela mau luna i ai na Solomona ke alii, a na ka poe a pau i hele mai i ka papaaina o Solomona ke alii, kela kanaka keia kanaka i kona malama, aole nele iki lakou.
28 Ka hua bale hoi a me ka mauu na na lio, me na lio holo, ka lakou i lawe mai ai i kahi o lakou, kela kanaka keia kanaka e like me kana kauoha.
29 A haawi mai la ke Akua i ke akamai ia Solomona, a me ka naauao he nui loa, a me ka nui ana o ka naau, e like me ka one ma kahakai.
And the Lord gave understanding to Solomon, and very much wisdom, and enlargement of heart, as the sand on the seashore.

And Solomon abounded greatly beyond the wisdom of all the ancients, and beyond all the wise men of Egypt.

And he was wiser than all [other] men: and he was wiser than Gaethan the Zarite, and [than] Aenan, and [than] Chalcad and Darala the son of Mal.

And Solomon spoke three thousand proverbs, and his songs were five thousand.

And he spoke of trees, from the cedar in Libanus even to the hyssop which comes out through the wall: he spoke also of cattle, and of birds, and of reptiles, and of fishes.
34 Hele mai la hoi ko na lahuikanaka a pau e hoolohe i ke akamai o Solomona, mai na lii a pau o ka honua, i lohe i kona akamai.
And all the nations came to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and [ambassadors] from all the kings of the earth, as many as heard of his wisdom.
