These are also the diuisions of the sonnes of Aaron: The sonnes of Aaron were Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2 A make iho o Nadaba laua o Abihu mamua o ko laua makuakane, aole no a laua keiki: nolaila, na Eleazara laua o Itamara i hana ka oihanakahuna.
But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the Priestes office.
3 A hoonoho iho la o Davida ia laua, o Zadoka no na mamo a Eleazara, a o Ahimeleka no na mamo a Itamara e like me ko laua kuleana iloko o ka oihana a laua.
And Dauid distributed them, euen Zadok of the sonnes of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sonnes of Ithamar according to their offices in their ministration.
4 A ua oi aku ka nui o na luna i loaa o na mamo a Eleazara imua o na mamo a Itamara: a ua puunaueia hoi lakou. Iwaena o na mamo a Eleazara, he umikumamaono ka poe luna no ka ohana o ko lakou mau kupuna, a he awalu hoi iwaena o na mamo a Itamara, e like me ka ohana a ko lakou mau kupunakane.
And there were found more of the sonnes of Eleazar by the number of men, then of the sonnes of Ithamar. and they deuided them, to wit, among the sonnes of Eleazar, sixteene heads, according to the houshould of their fathers, and among ye sonnes of Ithamar, according to the housholde of their fathers, eight.

Thus they distributed them by lot the one from the other, and so the rulers of the Sanctuarie and the rulers of the house of God were of the sonnes of Eleazar and of the sonnes of Ithamar.

And Shemaiah the sonne of Nethaneel the scribe of the Leuites, wrote them before ye King and the princes, and Zadok the Priest, and Ahimelech the sonne of Abiathar, and before ye chiefe fathers of the Priests and of the Leuites, one familie being reserued for Eleazar, and another reserued for Ithamar.

And the first lot fell to Iehoiarib, and the second to Iedaiah,

The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,

The fifth to Malchiiah, the sixt to Miiamin,

The seuenth to Hakkoz, the eight to Abiiah,
11 O ka iwa ia Iesua, o ka umi ia Sekania,
The ninth to Ieshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
12 O ka umikumamakahi ia Elisiba, o ka umikumamalua ia Iakima;
The eleuenth to Eliashib, the twelft to Iakim,
13 O ka umikumamakolu ia Hupa, o ka umikumamaha ia Iesebeaba;
The thirteenth to Huppa, the fouretenth to Ieshebeab,
14 O ka umikumamalima ia Bilega, o ka umikumamaono ia Imera,
The fiftenth to Bilgah, the sixtenth to Immer,
15 O ka umikumamahiku ia Hezira, o ka umikumamawalu ia Apese,
The seuententh to Hezir, the eightenth to Happizzer,
16 O ka umikumamaiwa ia Petahia, o ka iwakalua ia Iehezekela,
The ninetenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Iehezekel,
17 O ka iwakaluakumamakahi ia Iakina, o ka iwakaluakumamalua ia Gamula,
The one and twentie to Iachin, the two and twentie to Gamul,
18 O ka iwakaluakumamakolu ia Delaia, o ka iwakaluakumamaha ia Maazia.
The three and twentie to Deliah, the foure and twentie to Maaziah.
19 Oia ka hoonoho papa ana ia lakou no ka lakou hana e hele mai ai iloko o ka hale o Iehova, e like me ka lakou i hana'i mamuli o Aarona o ko lakou makuakane, me ka Iehova ke Akua o Iseraela i kauoha mai ai ia ia.
These were their orders according to their offices, when they entred into the house of the Lord according to their custome vnder the hande of Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.
20 No na keikikane a Levi i koe: no na keikikane a Amerama; o Subaela: no na keikikane a Subaela; o Iehedeia.
And of the sonnes of Leui that remained of the sonnes of Amram, was Shubael, of the sonnes of Shubael, Iedeiah,
21 No Rehebia: no na keikikane a Rehebia, o Isehia ka mua.
Of Rehabiah. euen of the sonnes of Rehabiah, the first Isshiiah,
22 No ka Izehara; o Selomota: no na keiki a Selomota; o Iahata.
Of Izhari, Shelomoth, of the sonnes of Shelomoth, Iahath,
23 O na keikikane a Heberona; o Ieria ka mua, o Amaria ka lua, o lahaziela ke kolu a o Iekameama ka ha.
And his sonnes Ieriah the first, Amariah the second, Iahaziel the thirde, and Iekameam the fourth,
24 No na keikikane a Uziela: o Mika: no na keikikane a Mika; o Samira.
The sonne of Vzziel was Michah, ye sonne of Michah was Shamir,
25 O Isehia ke kaikaina o Mika: no na keikikane a Isehia; o Zekaria.
The brother of Michah was Isshiiah, the sonne of Isshiiah, Zechariah,
26 O na keikikane a Merari; o Maheli a o Musi: no na keikikane a Iaazia; o Beno.
The sonnes of Merari, were Mahli and Mushi, the sonne of Iaaziiah was Beno,
27 O na keikikane a Merari ma o Iaazia la; o Beno, o Sohama, o Zakura, a o Iberi.
The sonnes of Merari of Iahaziah were Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur and Ibri.
28 Na Maheli o Eleazara, aohe ana keikikane.
Of Mahli came Eleazar, which had no sonnes.
29 No Kisa: o Ierahemeela ke keikikane a Kisa:
Of Kish. the sonne of Kish was Ierahmeel,
30 O na keikikane hoi a Musi; o Maheli, o Edera, a o Ierimota. O lakou na keikikane a na Levi mamuli o ka ohana o ko lakou mau makuakane.
And the sonnes of Mushi were Mahli, and Eder, and Ierimoth: these were sonnes of the Leuites after the houshold of their fathers.
31 Puu iho la no hoi lakou e ku pono aku ana i ko lakou poe hoahanau na mamo a Aarona, imua hoi o ke alii o Davida, a o Zadoka, a o Ahimeleka, a me na makua'lii o na kahuna a me ka Levi, oia hoi, na luna makuakane e ku pono ana i ko lakou poe kaikaina.
And these also cast lots with their brethren the sonnes of Aaron before King Dauid, and Zadok and Ahimelech and the chiefe fathers of the Priests, and of the Leuites, euen the chiefe of the families against their yonger brethren.
