Kolossiyawa 3
1 Idan dai Allah ya tashe ku tare da Almasihu, ku nemi abubuwan da ke sama, inda Almasihu ke zaune a hannun dama na Allah.
If, then, you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where the Christ sits at the right hand of God;
2 Yi tunanin a kan abubuwan da ke sama, ba a kan abubuwan da ke kasa ba.
mind the things that are above, not the things that are on the earth:
3 Gama ku kun mutu, ranku kuma yana boye tare da Almasihu cikin Allah.
for you are dead, and your life is hid with the Christ in God.
4 Sa'anda Almasihu ya bayyana, wanda shine ranku, sa'anan ku kuma zaku bayyana tare da shi cikin daukakarsa.
When the Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory.
5 Ku kashe sha'awacce-sha'awaccen da suke a duniya - zina da fasikanci, rashin tsarki, muguwar sha'awa, mummunar buri, da kuma kwadayi, wadda shine bautar gumaka.
Put to death, therefore, your members that are on the earth, lewdness, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry;
6 Saboda wandannan abubuwa ne fushin Allah ke zuwa a kan marasa biyayya.
on account of these things the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience,
7 A cikin wadannan abubuwa ne kuka yi rayuwa a da da kuke zauna a cikinsu.
in which things you also formerly walked when you lived in them.
8 Amma yanzu dole ku kawar da wadannan - zafin rai, fushi, mugayen manufofi, zage-zage, da kazamar magana daga bakinku.
But now do you also put away all these―anger, wrath, malice, reviling, obscene language from your mouth.
9 Kada ku yi wa juna karya, domin kun tube tsohon mutumin da ayyukansa,
Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds,
10 kun kuma yafa sabon mutum, wanda ake sabontawa cikin sani bisa ga surar wannan da ya hallice shi.
and have put on the new man, which is renewed for knowledge, according to the image of him that created him;
11 A nan ne inda babu Baheline da Bayahude, mai kaciya da marar kaciya, bare, baubawa, ko Basikitiye, bawa ko yantacce, amma Almasihu shine duka, yana kuma cikin duka.
in which new creation there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all and in all.
12 A matsayin ku na zababbun Allah, masu tsarki da kaunatattu sai ku yafa jinkai, ayyukan kirki, saukin kai, kamewa da hakuri.
Put on, therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, a merciful disposition, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering:
13 Yi hakuri da juna. Ku yi wa juna alheri. Idan wani na da damuwa da wani, ku gafarta kamar yadda Ubangiji ya gafarta maku.
bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if any one have a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do you:
14 Fiye da wadanan abubuwa duka, ku kasance da kauna, wanda itace cikakkiyar kammalla.
and over all these put on love, which is the bond of perfectness.
15 Bari salamar Almasihu ta mallaki zukatanku. Sabili da wannan salama ce aka kiraye ku cikin jiki daya. Ku yi godiya.
And let the peace of God, to which you are called in one body, rule in your hearts, and be thankful.
16 Ku bar maganar Almasihu ta zauna a cikinku a yalwace. Da dukan hikima, ku koyar, ku kuma gargadi juna da zabura, wakoki, da wakokin yabo na ruhaniya. Kuna rairawa tare da godiya cikin zukatanku ga Allah.
Let the word of the Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, by teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with gratitude in your hearts to the Lord.
17 Kuma duk abin da zaku yi cikin magana ko aiki ku yi duka cikin sunan Ubangiji Yesu. Kuna yin godiya ga Allah Uba ta wurinsa.
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
18 Mata, ku yi biyayya ga mazajenku, yadda yakamata a cikin Ubangiji.
Wives, be subject to your husbands, as it is becoming in the Lord.
19 Mazaje, ku kaunaci matayenku, kada ku muzguna masu.
Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
20 Yaya, ku yi wa iyayen ku biyayya cikin dukan komai, domin wannan yana faranta wa Ubangiji rai.
Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well-pleasing to the Lord.
21 Ku Ubanni, kada ku cakuni 'ya'yanku domin kada su karaya.
Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be disheartened.
22 Bayi, ku yi wa iyayengijinku na jiki biyayya cikin kowane abu, ba tare da bautan ganin ido ba don faranta wa mutane rai, amma da sahihiyar zuciya. Ji tsoron Ubangiji.
Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eye-service, as pleasing men, but with simplicity of heart, fearing God.
23 Duk abin da kuke yi, ku yi aiki daga zuci domin Ubangiji ba domin mutane ba.
And whatever you do, do from the soul, as to the Lord, and not to men;
24 Kun san cewa, zaku karbi sakamako na gado daga wurin Ubangiji. Domin Ubangiji Almasihu kuke bauta wa.
knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance: for you serve the Lord Christ.
25 Domin kowa ya yi rashin adalci zai karbi sakamakon rashin adalcin da ya yi, kuma babu son kai.
But he that does wrong shall receive for the wrong which he has done; and there is no respect of persons.
