2 Bitrus 1
1 Siman Bitrus, bawa da manzon Almasihu Yesu, zuwa ga wadanda suka karbi bangaskiya mai daraja kamar yadda muka karba, bangaskiya cikin adalcin Allahnmu da Yesu Almasihu.
Simon Peter, a bondservant and Apostle of Jesus Christ: To those to whom there has been allotted the same precious faith as that which is ours through the righteousness of our God and of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
2 Bari alheri ya kasance tare da ku; bari salama ta karu ta wurin sanin Allah da na Yesu Ubangijinmu.
May more and more grace and peace be granted to you in a full knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,
3 Dukkan abubuwan ikon Allah na rayuwa da Allahntaka an bamu su ta wurin sanin Allah, wanda ya kira mu ta wurin daukakarsa da nagarta.
seeing that His divine power has given us all things that are needful for life and godliness, through our knowledge of Him who has appealed to us by His own glorious perfections.
4 Ta wurin wanan, ya bamu babban alkawari mai daraja. Yayi wanan ne saboda ku zama masu rabo cikin Allahntaka, yayin da ku ka kubuta daga lalacewa da ke cikin duniya saboda mugayen sha'awace sha, awace.
It is by means of these that He has granted us His precious and wondrous promises, in order that through them you may, one and all, become sharers in the very nature of God, having completely escaped the corruption which exists in the world through earthly cravings.
5 Saboda wanan dalilin kuyi iyakacin kokarinku ku kara nagarta ta wurin bangaskiyarku, kuma ta wurin adalci, sani.
But for this very reason--adding, on your part, all earnestness-- along with your faith, manifest also a noble character: along with a noble character, knowledge;
6 Ta wurin sani ku kara da kamun kai, kuma ta wurin kamun kanku, ku kara da jimrewa, ta wurin jimrewarku, ku kara da bin Allah.
along with knowledge, self-control; along with self-control, power of endurance;
7 Ta wurin bin Allah, ku kara da kauna irin ta 'yan'uwa, ta wurin kauna irin ta 'yan'uwa, ku kara kauna.
along with power of endurance, godliness; along with godliness, brotherly affection; and along with brotherly affection, love.
8 Idan wadannan abubuwan suna cikinku, kuma suka yi girma a cikinku, baza a sami bakarare ko rashin 'ya'ya cikin sanin Ubangijinmu Yesu Almasihu ba.
If these things exist in you, and continually increase, they prevent your being either idle or unfruitful in advancing towards a full knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 Amma duk wanda ya rasa wadannan abubuwan yana kallon abin da ke kusa ne kawai; ya makance. Ya manta da cewa an wake shi daga tsofaffin zunubansa.
For the man in whom they are lacking is blind and cannot see distant objects, in that he has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his old sins.
10 Saboda haka, 'yan'uwa, kuyi iyakacin kokari ku tabbatar da kiranku da zabenku. Idan kun yi wadannan abubuwan, baza ku yi tuntube ba.
For this reason, brethren, be all the more in earnest to make sure that God has called you and chosen you; for it is certain that so long as you practise these things, you will never stumble.
11 Ta haka zaku sami shiga cikin mulki na har'abada na Ubangijinmu da Maicetonmu Yesu Almasihu. (aiōnios g166)
And so a triumphant admission into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will be freely granted to you. (aiōnios g166)
12 Saboda haka a shirye nake kulayomi in tunashe ku game da wadannan abubuwan, ko da yake kun san su, kuma kun yi karfi cikin gaskiya yanzu.
For this reason I shall always persist in reminding you of these things, although you know them and are stedfast believers in truth which you already possess.
13 Ina tunani daidai ne in zuga ku da tuni game da wadannan abubuwan, tun ina cikin wannan jiki.
But I think it right, so long as I remain in the body, my present dwelling-place, to arouse you by such reminders.
14 Domin na sani jim kadan zan bar wannan jiki, kamar yadda Yesu Almasihu ya nuna mani.
For I know that the time for me to lay aside my body is now rapidly drawing near, even as our Lord Jesus Christ has revealed to me.
15 Zan yi iyakancin kokarina kulayomi domin ku rika tunawa da abubuwan, bayan kaurata.
So on every possible occasion I will also do my best to enable you to recall these things after my departure.
16 Domin bamu bi labaru da aka kago na nuna wayo cikinsu ba, da muka fada maku game da iko da bayyanuwar Ubangijinmu Yesu Almasihu, amma mu shaidu ne na ikonsa.
For when we made known to you the power and Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, we were not eagerly following cleverly devised legends, but we had been eye-witnesses of His majesty.
17 Gama ya karbi daukaka da daraja daga wurin Allah Uba lokacin da murya ta zo daga ikon mai daukaka cewa, “Wannan shine dana, kaunataccena, wanda nake jin dadinsa kwarai.”
He received honour and glory from God the Father, and out of the wondrous glory words such as these were spoken to Him, "This is My dearly-loved Son, in whom I take delight."
18 Mun ji muryar nan da ta zo daga sama, lokacin da mu ke tare da shi a dutse mai tsarki.
And we ourselves heard these words come from Heaven, when we were with Him on the holy mountain.
19 Muna da wannan kalmar annabci wanda akwai tabbaci sosai, kun yi daidai idan kun mayar da hankali a kansu. Yana nan kamar fitillar da take walkiya a wuri mai duhu kafin asubahi ya zo, kuma tauraron asubahi ya tashi cikin zukatanku.
And in the written word of prophecy we have something more permanent; to which you do well to pay attention--as to a lamp shining in a dimly-lighted place--until day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
20 Ku san da wannan tun da farko, cewa babu annabci da ke bisa ga fasarar mutum.
But, above all, remember that no prophecy in Scripture will be found to have come from the prophet's own prompting;
21 Domin babu annabcin da ya taba zuwa ta wurin nufin mutum. Maimakon haka, Ruhu Mai Tsarki ne ke iza su, su fadi maganar Allah.
for never did any prophecy come by human will, but men sent by God spoke as they were impelled by the Holy Spirit.
