Titus 1
1 Bulus, bawan Allah da kuma manzon Yesu Kiristi saboda bangaskiyar zaɓaɓɓu na Allah da kuma sanin gaskiya wadda take kaiwa ga rayuwa ta tsoron Allah
Paul, a servant of God—an apostle moreover of Jesus Christ, —according to the faith of the chosen ones of God, and the personal knowledge of the truth that is according to godliness, —
2 duk wannan kuwa saboda begen nan ne ga rai madawwami da Allah ya yi alkawari tun fil azal, shi wanda ƙarya ba ta a gare shi, (aiōnios g166)
In hope of life age-abiding; which God, who cannot lie, promised before age-during times, (aiōnios g166)
3 da lokacin da Allah ya zaɓa ya cika sai ya bayyana maganarsa a sarari ta wurin wa’azin da aka danƙa mini amana ta wurin umarnin Allah Mai Cetonmu,
but hath manifested in its fitting seasons, even his word, in the proclamation with which entrusted am I—by injunction of our Saviour God:
4 Zuwa ga Titus, ɗana na gaske a tarayyarmu cikin bangaskiya. Alheri da salama daga Allah Uba da kuma Kiristi Yesu Mai Cetonmu, su kasance tare da kai.
Unto Titus, my true child according to a common faith, —favour and peace, from God [our] Father and Christ Jesus our Saviour.
5 Dalilin da ya sa na bar ka a Kirit shi ne don ka daidaita abubuwan da suka rage da ba a kammala ba, ka kuma naɗa dattawa a kowane gari, yadda na umarce ka.
For this cause left I thee in Crete, that, the things remaining undone, thou mightest completely set in order, and mightest establish, in every city, elders, as, I, with thee arranged: —
6 Dole dattijo yă kasance marar aibi, mijin mace guda, mutumin da’ya’yansa masu bi ne, waɗanda kuma ba a san su da lalata ko rashin biyayya ba.
If anyone is unaccusable, a husband of, one wife, having children that believe, who are not charged with riotous excess, nor insubordinate;
7 Da yake an danƙa wa mai kula da ikkilisiya riƙon amana saboda Allah, dole yă zama marar aibi ba mai girman kai ba, ba mai saurin fushi ba, ba mai buguwa ba, ba mai rikici ba, ba kuma mai son ƙazamar riba ba.
For it is needful that the overseer be—unaccusable, as God’s steward, not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, not ready to wound, not seeking gain by base means,
8 A maimakon haka dole yă zama mai karɓan baƙi, mai son abu nagari, mai kamunkai, mai adalci, mai tsarki da kuma natsattse.
But hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded, just, kind, possessing self-control,
9 Dole yă riƙe tabbataccen saƙon nan kam-kam yadda aka koyar, don yă iya ƙarfafa waɗansu da sahihiyar koyarwa yă kuma ƙaryata waɗanda suke gāba da shi.
Holding fast, in the matter of his teaching, the faithful word, that he may be able both to encourage with his healthful instruction, and, the gainsayers, to refute.
10 Gama akwai’yan tawaye da yawa, masu surutun banza da masu ruɗi, musamman ƙungiyar masu kaciya.
For there are many unruly men, vain talkers and deceivers, especially they of the circumcision, —
11 Dole a hana su yin magana, domin suna kawo rushewar iyalai ta wurin koyar da abubuwan da bai kamata su koyar ba don neman ƙazamar riba.
Whose mouths must needs be stopped, men who are upsetting whole houses, teaching the things which ought not [to be taught] —for the sake of base gain.
12 Wani daga cikin annabawansu ma ya ce, “Kiretawa a kullum maƙaryata ne, mugayen dabbobi, ragwaye haɗamammu.”
Said one from among them, a prophet, of their own!—Cretans! always false, mischievous wild-beasts, idle gluttons:
13 Wannan shaida gaskiya ce. Saboda haka, sai ka tsawata musu sosai, don su zama sahihai a wajen bangaskiya,
This witness, is true, —for which cause, be reproving them sharply, that they may be healthy in their faith,
14 ba za su kuma mai da hankalinsu ga tatsuniyoyin Yahudawa ko ga umarnan waɗanda suke ƙin gaskiya ba.
Not giving heed to Judaical stories and commandments of men who are turning away from the truth:
15 Ga tsarkaka kuwa, kome mai tsarki ne, amma ga waɗanda suke marasa tsarki da kuma marasa ba da gaskiya, ba abin da yake da tsarki. Gaskiya dai, hankulansu da lamirinsu duk marasa tsarki ne.
All things, are pure, unto the pure, but, unto the polluted and faithless, nothing, is pure, but polluted are both their mind and conscience;
16 Sun ɗauka cewa sun san Allah, amma ta wurin ayyukansu suna mūsunsa. Sun zama abin ƙyama, marasa biyayya, ba su ma isa su yi aiki nagari ba.
God, they confess that they know, but, by their works, they deny him, being, abominable, and obdurate, and, as to any good work, found, worthless.
