1 Addu’ar Musa Mutumin Allah. Ubangiji kai ne mazauninmu cikin dukan zamanai.
A prayer of Moses, the man of God. O Lord, you have been our refuge from generation to generation.
2 Kafin a haifi duwatsu ko a fid da ƙasa da duniya, daga madawwami zuwa madawwami kai Allah ne.
Before the mountains became, or the land was formed along with the world: from ages past, even to all ages, you are God.
3 Ka komar da mutane zuwa ƙura, kana cewa, “Ku koma ƙura, ya ku’ya’yan mutane.”
And, lest man be turned aside in humiliation, you have said: Be converted, O sons of men.
4 Gama shekaru dubu a gabanka kamar kwana ɗaya ne da ya wuce, ko sa’a guda na dare.
For a thousand years before your eyes are like the days of yesterday, which have passed by, and they are like a watch of the night,
5 Ka share mutane cikin barcin mutuwa; suna kama da sabuwa ciyawar safiya,
which was held for nothing: so their years shall be.
6 ko da yake da safe takan yi sabuwar huda da yamma sai ta bushe ta kuma yanƙwane.
In the morning, he may pass away like grass; in the morning, he may flower and pass away. In the evening, he will fall, and harden, and become dry.
7 An cinye mu ta wurin fushinka mun kuma razana ta wurin hasalarka.
For, at your wrath, we have withered away, and we have been disturbed by your fury.
8 Ka ajiye laifinmu a gabanka, asirin zunubanmu a hasken kasancewarka.
You have placed our iniquities in your sight, our age in the illumination of your countenance.
9 Dukan kwanakinmu sun wuce ƙarƙashin fushinka; mun gama shekarunmu da nishi.
For all our days have faded away, and at your wrath, we have fainted. Our years will be considered to be like a spider’s web.
10 Tsawon kwanakinmu shekaru saba’in ne, ko tamanin, in muna da ƙarfi; duk da haka tsawonsu wahaloli ne kawai da ɓacin rai, gama da sauri suke wucewa, ta mu kuma ta ƙare.
The days of our years in them are seventy years. But in the powerful, they are eighty years, and more of these are with hardship and sorrow. For mildness has overwhelmed us, and we shall be corrected.
11 Wa ya san ƙarfin fushinka? Gama hasalarka tana da girma kamar tsoron da ya dace da kai.
Who knows the power of your wrath? And, before fear, can your wrath
12 Ka koya mana yawan kwanakinmu daidai, don mu sami zuciyar hikima.
be numbered? So make known your right hand, along with men learned in heart, in wisdom.
13 Ka ji mu, ya Ubangiji! Har yaushe zai ci gaba? Ka ji tausayin bayinka.
Return, O Lord, how long? And may you be persuaded on behalf of your servants.
14 Ka ƙosar da mu da safe da ƙaunarka marar ƙarewa, don mu rera don yabo, mu kuma yi murna dukan kwanakinmu.
We were filled in the morning with your mercy, and we exulted and delighted all our days.
15 Faranta mana zuciya kamar yawan kwanakin da muka sha azaba, kamar yawan shekarun da muka ga wahala.
We have been rejoicing, because of the days in which you humbled us, because of the years in which we saw evils.
16 Bari a nuna ayyukanka ga bayinka, darajarka ga’ya’yansu.
Look down upon your servants and upon their works, and direct their sons.
17 Bari alherin shugabanmu Allah yă kasance a kanmu; ka albarkaci mana aikin hannuwanmu, I, ka albarkaci aikin hannuwanmu.
And may the splendor of the Lord our God be upon us. And so, direct the works of our hands over us; direct even the work of our hands.
