Zabura 87

1 Na’ya’yan Kora maza. Zabura ce. Waƙa ce. Ya kafa harsashinsa a kan dutse mai tsarki.

“By the sons of Korach; a psalm or song.” It is founded by him on holy mountains.

2 Ubangiji yana ƙaunar ƙofofin Sihiyona fiye da dukan wuraren zaman Yaƙub.

The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3 Ana faɗin abubuwa masu ɗaukaka game da ke Ya birnin Allah, (Sela)

Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. (Selah)

4 “Zan lissafta Rahab a cikin waɗanda suka san ni, Filistiya ita ma, da Taya, tare da Kush, zan kuma ce, ‘An haifi wannan a Sihiyona.’”

I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as those that know me; behold, here is Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia: “This man was born there.”

5 Tabbatacce, game da Sihiyona za a ce, “Wannan da wancan an haifa a cikinta, Mafi Ɗaukaka kansa zai kafa ta.”

But of Zion will it be said, “This and that man were born in her:” and the Most High himself doth establish her.

6 Ubangiji zai rubuta a littafin sunayen mutanensa, “An haifi wannan a Sihiyona.” (Sela)

The Lord will number when he writeth down nations. “This man was born there.” (Selah)

7 Yayinda suke kaɗe-kaɗe za su rera, “Dukan maɓulɓulaina suna cikinki.”

And the singers as well as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs [of joy] are in thee.
