1 Addu’ar Dawuda. Ka ji, ya Ubangiji, ka kuma amsa mini, gama ni matalauci ne mai bukata kuma.
Yahweh, listen [IDM] to what I say and answer me, because I am weak and needy.
2 Ka tsare raina, gama na ba da kaina gare ka. Kai ne Allahna; ka ceci bawanka wanda ya dogara gare ka.
Prevent me from dying now, because I (am loyal to/continue to believe in) you; save/rescue me, because I serve you and I trust in you, my God.
3 Ka yi mini jinƙai, ya Ubangiji, gama na yi kira gare ka dukan yini.
Lord, be kind to me, because I cry out to you all during the day.
4 Ka ba bawanka farin ciki gama gare ka, ya Ubangiji, na miƙa raina.
Lord, cause me to be glad, because I (pray to/worship) [IDM] you.
5 Kai mai gafartawa da kuma mai alheri ne, ya Ubangiji, cike da ƙauna ga dukan waɗanda suke kira gare ka.
Lord, you are good [to us], and you forgive [us]; you faithfully love very much all those who (pray/call out) to you.
6 Ka ji addu’ata, ya Ubangiji; ka saurari kukata na neman jinƙai.
Lord, listen to my prayer; hear me when I cry out to you to help me.
7 A lokacin wahala zan yi kira gare ka, gama za ka amsa mini.
When I have troubles, I call out to you, because you answer me.
8 A cikin alloli babu kamar ka, ya Ubangiji; babu ayyukan da za a kwatanta da naka.
Lord, among all the gods [whom the heathen nations worship], there is no one like you; not one of them has done [the great things] that you have done.
9 Dukan al’umman da ka yi za su zo su yi sujada a gabanka, ya Ubangiji; za su kawo ɗaukaka ga sunanka.
Lord, [some day, people from] all the nations that you have established will come and bow down in front of you and they will praise you [MTY].
10 Gama kai mai girma ne kana kuma aikata ayyuka masu banmamaki; kai kaɗai ne Allah.
You are great, and you do wonderful/marvelous things; only you are God.
11 Ka koya mini hanyarka, ya Ubangiji, zan kuwa yi tafiya cikin gaskiyarka; ka ba ni zuciya wadda ba tă rabu ba, don in ji tsoron sunanka.
Yahweh, teach me what you want me to do in order that I may conduct my life according to what you say, which is true. Cause/Teach me to revere you.
12 Zan yabe ka, ya Ubangiji Allahna, da dukan zuciyata; zan ɗaukaka sunanka har abada.
Lord, my God, I [will] thank you with all my inner being, and I will praise you forever.
13 Gama ƙaunarka da girma take gare ni; kai ka cece ni daga zurfafa, daga mazaunin matattu. (Sheol )
You faithfully love me very much; you have prevented me from [dying and going to] the place where dead people are. (Sheol )
14 Masu girman kai suna kai mini hari, ya Allah; ƙungiyar marasa imani suna neman raina, mutanen da ba su kula da kai ba.
But God, proud men are [trying to] attack me; a gang/group of cruel men are wanting to kill me; they are men who do not have any (respect for/interest in) you.
15 Amma kai, ya Ubangiji, kai Allah mai tausayi ne da kuma mai alheri, mai jinkirin fushi, mai yawan ƙauna da aminci.
But Lord, you always are mercifully and kind; you do not become angry quickly, you faithfully love us very much and always do for us what you have promised to do.
16 Ka juyo gare ni ka yi mini jinƙai; ka ba wa bawanka ƙarfi; ka ceci ni gama na bauta maka yadda mahaifiyata ta yi.
Look down toward me and be merciful to me; cause me to be strong and save/rescue me who serves you [faithfully] like my mother did.
17 Ka ba ni alamar alherinka, don abokan gābana su gani su kuma sha kunya, gama kai, ya Ubangiji, ka taimake ni ka kuma ta’azantar da ni.
Yahweh, do something to show me that you are being good to me in order that those who hate me will see that you have encouraged me and helped me, and as a result they will be ashamed.
