< Zabura 55 >
1 Don mai bi da kaɗe-kaɗe. Da kayan kiɗi masu tsirkiya. Wani maskil ta Dawuda. Ka ji addu’ata, ya Allah, kada ka ƙyale roƙona;
God, listen to my prayer, and do not turn away from me while I am pleading with you.
2 ka ji ni ka kuma amsa mini. Tunanina yana damuna na kuma gaji tilis
Listen to me, and answer me, because I am overwhelmed by [all] my troubles.
3 hankalina ya tashi saboda yawan surutan masu ƙina, saboda danniyar mugaye. Gama sukan jawo mini wahala, suna jin haushina suna ƙina.
My enemies cause me to be terrified; wicked people oppress me. They cause me to have great troubles; they are angry with me, and they hate me.
4 Zuciyata tana wahala a cikina; tsorace-tsoracen mutuwa sun sha kaina.
I am terrified, and I am very much afraid that I will die.
5 Tsoro da rawan jiki sun kama ni; razana ta sha kaina.
I am very fearful and I tremble/shake, and I am completely terrified.
6 Na ce, “Kash, da a ce ina da fikafikan kurciya mana! Ai, da na yi firiya na tafi na huta,
I said, “I wish that I had wings like a dove! If I had wings, I would fly away and find a place to rest.
7 da na tafi can da nisa na zauna a hamada; (Sela)
I would fly far away and live in the desert.
8 da na hanzarta na tafi wurin mafakata, nesa da muguwar iska da hadiri.”
I would quickly find a shelter from [my enemies] [who are like] [MET] a strong wind and rainstorm.”
9 Ka rikitar da mugaye, ya Ubangiji, ka birkitar da maganarsu, gama na ga rikici da faɗa a cikin birni.
Lord, confuse my enemies, and cause their plans to fail, because I see them acting violently and causing strife in the city [of Jerusalem].
10 Dare da rana suna yawo a kan katanga; mugun hali da zargi suna a cikinta.
During [each] day and night they march around on top of its walls, committing crimes and causing trouble.
11 Rundunar hallaka suna aiki a cikin birni; barazana da ƙarairayi ba sa taɓa barin titunanta.
They destroy [things] everywhere. They oppress and defraud [people] in the (marketplaces/public squares).
12 Da a ce abokin gāba ne ke zagina, da na jure da shi; da a ce maƙiyi yana tā da kansa a kaina, da na ɓoye daga gare shi.
If it were an enemy who was making fun of me, I could endure it. If it were someone who hates me, who despises me, I could hide from him.
13 Amma kai ne, mutum kamar ni, abokina, abokina na kurkusa,
But it is someone who is just like me, my companion, someone who was my friend [who is doing this to me].
14 wanda na taɓa jin daɗin zumunci da shi sosai yayinda muke tafiya tare a taron jama’a a gidan Allah.
We previously had many good talks together; we walked around together in God’s temple.
15 Bari mutuwa ta ɗauki abokan gābana ba labari; bari su gangara da rai zuwa cikin kabari, gama mugunta tana samun masauƙi a cikinsu. (Sheol )
I desire/hope that my enemies will die suddenly; while they are still young, cause them to go down to the place where the dead people are. They they think evil things. (Sheol )
16 Amma na kira ga Allah, Ubangiji kuwa ya cece ni.
But I [will] ask Yahweh, [my] God, to help me, and he will save me.
17 Safe, rana da yamma ina kuka da nishi, yakan kuwa ji muryata.
[Each] morning and [each] noontime and [each] evening I tell him what I am concerned about, and I moan, and he hears my voice.
18 Yakan fisshe ni lafiya daga yaƙin da ake yi da ni, ko da yake da yawa suna gāba da ni.
I have [very] many enemies, but he will rescue me and bring me back safely from the battles that I fight.
19 Allah, yana mulki har abada, zai ji su yă kuma azabtar da su, (Sela) mutanen da ba sa taɓa canja hanyoyinsu kuma ba sa tsoron Allah.
God is the one who has ruled everything forever, and he will listen to me. He will cause my enemies to be [defeated and] disgraced, because they do not change their evil behavior and they do not revere God.
20 Abokina ya kai wa abokansa hari; ya tā da alkawarinsa.
My companion, [whom I mentioned previously], betrayed his friends and broke the agreement that he made with them.
21 Maganarsa tana da laushi kamar man zaitun, duk da haka yaƙi yana a cikin zuciyarsa; kalmominsa sun fi mai sulɓi, duk da haka takuba ne zārarru.
What he said was [easy to listen to, like] butter [is easy to swallow] [MET], but in his inner being he hated people; his words were [soothing] like [olive] oil, [but they hurt people like] sharp swords do [MET].
22 Ku kawo damuwoyinku ga Ubangiji zai kuwa riƙe ku; ba zai taɓa barin mai adalci yă fāɗi ba.
Put your troubles in Yahweh’s hands, and he will take care of you; he will never allow righteous [people] to experience disasters.
23 Amma kai, ya Allah, za ka kawar da mugaye zuwa cikin ramin lalacewa; masu kisa da mutane masu ruɗu ba za su kai rabin kwanakin rayuwarsu ba. Amma ni dai, na dogara gare ka.
God, you will cause murderers [MTY] and liars to die before they have lived half as long as they expect to live; but [as for me], I will trust in you.
