< Zabura 5 >
1 Don mai bi da kaɗe-kaɗe. Don Busa. Ta Dawuda. Ka saurare kalmomina, ya Ubangiji, ka ji ajiyar zuciyata.
Give ear to my words, Adonai. Consider my (meditation)
Listen to the voice of my cry, my King and my God; for to you do I pray.
Adonai, in the morning you shall sh'ma ·hear obey· my voice. In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly.
For you are not a God who has pleasure in ethical wickedness. Evil can’t live with you.
The arrogant shall not stand in your sight. You hate all workers of vain striving of iniquity.
6 Kakan hallaka masu yin ƙarya. Masu kisankai da mutane masu ruɗu Ubangiji yana ƙyama.
You will destroy those who speak lies. Adonai abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.
7 Amma ni, ta wurin jinƙanka mai girma, zan shiga gidanka; da bangirma zan durƙusa ga haikalinka.
But as for me, in the abundance of your chesed ·loving-kindness· I will come into your house. I will hawa ·bow low, prostrate· toward your holy temple in reverence of you.
Lead me, Adonai, in your righteousness because of my enemies. Make your way straight before my face.
For there is no faithfulness in their mouth. Their heart is destruction. Their throat is an open tomb. They flatter with their tongue.
10 Ka furta su masu laifi, ya Allah! Bari makircinsu yă zama fāɗuwarsu. Ka kore su saboda yawan zunubansu, saboda sun tayar maka.
Hold them condemned guilty, God. Let them fall by their own counsels; Thrust them out in the multitude of their rebellious breaches of relationships, for they have rebelled against you.
11 Amma bari dukan waɗanda suke neman mafaka gare ka su yi murna; bari kullum su yi ta rerawa saboda farin ciki. Ka buɗe kāriyarka a bisansu, domin waɗanda suke ƙaunar sunanka su yi farin ciki a cikinka.
But let all those who take refuge in you rejoice, Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. Let them also who 'ahav ·affectionately love· your name be joyful in you.
12 Gama tabbatacce, ya Ubangiji, kakan albarkaci adalai; kakan kewaye su da tagomashinka kamar garkuwa.
For you will bless the upright. Adonai, you will surround him with favor as with a shield.
