Zabura 48

1 Waƙa ce. Zabura ta’ya’yan Kora maza. Ubangiji mai girma ne, kuma mafificin yabo, a birnin Allahnmu, dutsensa mai tsarki.

A psalm of a canticle, for the sons of Core, on the second day of the week. Great is the Lord, and exceedingly to be praised in the city of our God, in his holy mountain.

2 Kyakkyawa ce cikin tsayinta, abin farin cikin dukan duniya. Kamar ƙwanƙoli mafi tsayi na Zafon ne Dutsen Sihiyona, birnin Babban Sarki.

With the joy of the whole earth is mount Sion founded, on the sides of the north, the city of the great king.

3 Allah yana cikin fadodinta; ya nuna kansa mafaka ce gare ta.

In her houses shall God be known, when he shall protect her.

4 Sa’ad da sarakuna suka haɗa rundunoni, sa’ad da suka yi gaba tare,

For behold the kings of the earth assembled themselves: they gathered together.

5 sun gan ta suka kuwa yi mamaki; suka gudu don tsoro.

So they saw, and they wondered, they were troubled, they were moved:

6 Rawar jiki ya kama su a can, zafi kamar na mace mai naƙuda.

Trembling took hold of them. There were pains as of a woman in labour.

7 Ka hallaka su kamar jiragen ruwan Tarshish da iskar gabas ta wargaje.

With a vehement wind thou shalt break in pieces the ships of Tharsis.

8 Yadda muka ji, haka muka gani a cikin birnin Ubangiji Maɗaukaki, a cikin birnin Allahnmu. Allah ya sa ta zauna lafiya har abada. (Sela)

As we have heard, so have we seen, in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God: God hath founded it for ever.

9 Cikin haikalinka, ya Allah, mun yi tunani a kan ƙaunarka marar ƙarewa.

We have received thy mercy, O God, in the midst of thy temple.

10 Kamar sunanka, ya Allah, yabonka ya kai iyakokin duniya; hannunka na dama ya cika da adalci.

According to thy name, O God, so also is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of justice.

11 Dutsen Sihiyona ya yi farin ciki, ƙauyukan Yahuda suna murna saboda hukuntanka.

Let mount Sion rejoice, and the daughters of Juda be glad; because of thy judgments, O Lord.

12 Yi tafiya cikin Sihiyona, ku kewaye ta, ku ƙirga hasumiyoyinta,

Surround Sion, and encompass her: tell ye in her towers.

13 ku lura da katangarta da kyau, ku dubi fadodinta, don ku faɗe su ga tsara mai zuwa.

Set your hearts on her strength; and distribute her houses, that ye may relate it in another generation.

14 Gama wannan Allah shi ne Allahnmu har abada abadin; zai zama jagorarmu har zuwa ƙarshe.

For this is God, our God unto eternity, and for ever and ever: he shall rule us for evermore.
