1 Ta Dawuda. Maskil ne. Mai farin ciki ne shi wanda aka gafarta masa laifofinsa, wanda aka shafe zunubansa.
[A Psalm] of David, Maschil. Blessed [is he whose] transgression [is] forgiven, [whose] sin [is] covered.
2 Mai farin ciki ne mutumin da Ubangiji ba ya lissafin zunubinsa a kansa wanda kuma babu ruɗu a ruhunsa.
Blessed [is] the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit [there is] no guile.
3 Sa’ad da na yi shiru, ƙasusuwana sun yi ta mutuwa cikin nishina dukan yini.
When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
4 Gama dare da rana hannunka yana da nauyi a kaina; an shanye ƙarfina ƙaf sai ka ce a zafin bazara. (Sela)
For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. (Selah)
5 Sa’an nan na furta zunubina a gare ka ban kuwa ɓoye laifina ba. Na ce, “Zan furta laifofina ga Ubangiji.” Ka kuwa gafarta laifin zunubina. (Sela)
I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. (Selah)
6 Saboda haka bari duk mai tsoron Allah yă yi addu’a gare ka yayinda kake samuwa; tabbatacce sa’ad da manyan ruwaye suka taso, ba za su kai wurinsa ba.
For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
7 Kai ne wurin ɓuyata; za ka tsare ni daga wahala ka kewaye ni da waƙoƙin ceto. (Sela)
Thou [art] my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. (Selah)
8 Zan umarce ka in kuma koyar da kai a hanyar da za ka bi; Zan ba ka shawara in kuma lura da kai.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
9 Kada ka zama kamar doki ko doki, wanda ba su da azanci wanda dole sai an bi da su da linzami da ragama in ba haka ba, ba za su zo wurinka ba.
Be ye not as the horse, [or] as the mule, [which] have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
10 Azaban mugu da yawa suke, amma ƙaunar Ubangiji marar ƙarewa kan kewaye mutumin da ya dogara gare shi.
Many sorrows [shall be] to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
11 Ku yi farin ciki a cikin Ubangiji ku kuma yi murna, ku adalai; ku rera, dukanku waɗanda zuciyarku take daidai!
Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all [ye that are] upright in heart.
