< Zabura 141 >
A Psalm by David. LORD, I have called on you. Come to me quickly! Listen to my voice when I call to you.
2 Bari a sa addu’ata a gabanka kamar turaren ƙonawa; bari ɗagawa hannuwana ta zama kamar hadayar yamma.
Let my prayer be set before you like incense; the lifting up of my hands like the evening sacrifice.
Set a watch, LORD, before my mouth. Keep the door of my lips.
4 Kada ka bar zuciyata ta juya ga yin abin da yake mugu, ta sa kai ga aikata mugayen ayyuka tare da mutane masu aikata mugunta; kada ka bari in ci abincinsu.
Don’t incline my heart to any evil thing, to practise deeds of wickedness with men who work iniquity. Don’t let me eat of their delicacies.
5 Bari mutum mai adalci yă buge ni, alheri ne; bar shi yă tsawata mini, mai ne a kaina. Kaina ba zai ƙi shi ba, duk da haka addu’ata kullum tana gāba da mugayen ayyuka.
Let the righteous strike me, it is kindness; let him reprove me, it is like oil on the head; don’t let my head refuse it; Yet my prayer is always against evil deeds.
Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock. They will hear my words, for they are well spoken.
(Sheol )
“As when one ploughs and breaks up the earth, our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.” (Sheol )
8 Amma na kafa idanuna a kanka, ya Ubangiji Mai Iko Duka; a cikinka ina neman mafaka, kada ka miƙa ni ga mutuwa.
For my eyes are on you, LORD, the Lord. I take refuge in you. Don’t leave my soul destitute.
Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, from the traps of the workers of iniquity.
10 Bari mugaye su fāɗa a cikin ragarsu, amma bari ni in zo in wuce lafiya.
Let the wicked fall together into their own nets while I pass by.
