1 Waƙar haurawa. Sun yi mini danniya ƙwarai tun ina ƙarami, bari Isra’ila yă ce,
A song of ascents. Many a time they have persecuted me from my youth— let Israel now declare—
2 sun yi mini danniya ƙwarai tun ina ƙarami, amma ba su yi nasara a kaina ba.
many a time they have persecuted me from my youth, but they have not prevailed against me.
3 Manoma sun nome bayana suka yi kunyoyinsu da tsayi.
The plowmen plowed over my back; they made their furrows long.
4 Amma Ubangiji mai adalci ne; ya’yantar da ni daga igiyoyin mugaye.
The LORD is righteous; He has cut me from the cords of the wicked.
5 Bari dukan waɗanda suke ƙin Sihiyona a juye da su baya da kunya.
May all who hate Zion be turned back in shame.
6 Bari su zama kamar ciyawa a kan rufi, wadda takan bushe kafin tă yi girma;
May they be like grass on the rooftops, which withers before it can grow,
7 da ita mai girbi ba ya iya cika hannuwansa, balle wanda yake tarawa yă cika hannuwansa.
unable to fill the hands of the reaper, or the arms of the binder of sheaves.
8 Kada masu wuce su ce, “Albarkar Ubangiji ta kasance a kanku; muna sa muku albarka a cikin sunan Ubangiji.”
May none who pass by say to them, “The blessing of the LORD be on you; we bless you in the name of the LORD.”
