1 Waƙar haurawa. Waɗanda suke dogara ga Ubangiji suna kama da Dutsen Sihiyona, wanda ba ya jijjiguwa amma dawwammame ne har abada.

“A song of the degrees.” Those who trust in the Lord are like mount Zion, which will not he moved, which endureth for ever.

2 Kamar duwatsun da sun kewaye Urushalima, haka Ubangiji ya kewaye mutanensa yanzu da har abada kuma.

Jerusalem hath mountains round about her: and [so] is the Lord round about his people, from this time forth and for evermore.

3 Sandar mulkin mugaye ba zai ci gaba da kasance a kan ƙasar da take rabon adalai ba, domin kada masu adalci su yi amfani da hannuwansu su aikata mugunta.

For the sceptre of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous: in order that the righteous may not stretch forth their hands unto wrong-doing.

4 Ka yi alheri, ya Ubangiji, ga waɗanda suke nagartattu, ga waɗanda suke masu aikata gaskiya a zuciyarsu.

Do good, O Lord, unto the good, and to those that are upright in their hearts.

5 Amma waɗanda suka juye ga karkatattun hanyoyi Ubangiji zai kore su tare da masu aikata mugunta. Salama tă kasance tare da Isra’ila.

But as for those who turn aside unto their crooked ways, them will the Lord drive away with the workers of wickedness; but peace shall be upon Israel.
