1 Waƙar haurawa. Waɗanda suke dogara ga Ubangiji suna kama da Dutsen Sihiyona, wanda ba ya jijjiguwa amma dawwammame ne har abada.

They that trust in YHWH shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

2 Kamar duwatsun da sun kewaye Urushalima, haka Ubangiji ya kewaye mutanensa yanzu da har abada kuma.

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so YHWH is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

3 Sandar mulkin mugaye ba zai ci gaba da kasance a kan ƙasar da take rabon adalai ba, domin kada masu adalci su yi amfani da hannuwansu su aikata mugunta.

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

4 Ka yi alheri, ya Ubangiji, ga waɗanda suke nagartattu, ga waɗanda suke masu aikata gaskiya a zuciyarsu.

Do good, O YHWH, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

5 Amma waɗanda suka juye ga karkatattun hanyoyi Ubangiji zai kore su tare da masu aikata mugunta. Salama tă kasance tare da Isra’ila.

As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, YHWH shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.
