< Zabura 123 >
1 Waƙar haurawa. Na tā da idanuna gare ka, gare ka da kursiyinka yake cikin sama.
“A song of the degrees.” Unto thee do I lift up my eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
2 Kamar yadda idanun bayi suna duban hannun maigidansu, kamar yadda idanun baiwa suna duban hannun uwargijiyarta, haka idanunmu suna duban Ubangiji Allahnmu, sai ya nuna mana jinƙansa.
Behold, as the eyes of servants are directed unto the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress: thus are our eyes directed unto the Lord our God, until he be gracious unto us.
3 Ka yi mana jinƙai, ya Ubangiji, ka yi mana jinƙai, gama mun jimre da reni mai yawa.
Be gracious unto us, O Lord! be gracious unto us; for we are overburdened with contempt.
4 Mun jimre da wulaƙanci daga masu girman kai, reni mai yawa daga masu fariya.
Our soul is overburdened with the scorn of those who are at ease, with the contempt of the proud oppressors.
