< Zabura 109 >

1 Don mai bi da kaɗe-kaɗe. Ta Dawuda. Zabura ce. Ya Allah, wanda nake yabo, kada ka yi shiru,
To the Chief Musician. David’s. A Melody. O God of my praise, do not be silent;
2 gama mugaye da masu ruɗu sun buɗe bakunansu a kaina; sun yi magana a kaina da harsunan ƙarya.
For, the mouth of the lawless one and the mouth of the deceiver, against me, are open, They have spoken to me with false tongue;
3 Da kalmomin ƙiyayya sun kewaye ni; sun tasar mini ba dalili.
And, with words of hatred, have they surrounded me, and have made war upon me without cause:
4 A maimakon ƙauna sun sāka mini da zargi, amma ni mutum ne mai addu’a.
For my love, they have been accusing me, while, I, was at prayer:
5 Sun sāka mini alheri da mugunta, ƙauna kuma da ƙiyayya.
Yea they have returned unto me—Evil for good; and, Hatred for my love.
6 Ka naɗa mugun mutum yă yi hamayya da shi; bari mai zargi yă tsaya a hannun damansa.
Set in charge over him, one who is lawless, and let, an accuser, stand at his right hand;
When he is judged, let him go out condemned, and let, his own petition, become a sin;
8 Bari kwanakinsa su zama kaɗan; bari wani yă ɗauki wurinsa na shugabanci.
Let his days become few, his overseership, let another take;
Let his children become fatherless, and his wife a widow;
10 Bari’ya’yansa su zama masu yawo suna bara; bari a yi ta koransu daga gidajensu da suke kufai.
Let his children, wander about, and beg, Let them be driven out of their ruins;
Let the creditor take aim at all that he hath, and let strangers prey on the fruit of his toil;
12 Bari kada kowa yă yi masa alheri ko yă ji tausayin marayunsa.
Let him have no one to continue lovingkindness, and there be none to favour his fatherless children;
13 Bari duk zuriyarsa su mutu, a shafe sunayensu daga tsara mai zuwa.
Let his posterity be for cutting off, In another generation, let their name be wiped out;
14 Bari a tuna da laifin kakanninsa a gaban Ubangiji; bari kada a taɓa shafe zunubin mahaifiyarsa.
Remembered be the iniquity of his fathers against Yahweh, and, the sin of his mother, let it not be wiped out;
Let them be before Yahweh continually, and let the memory of them, be cut off out of the earth.
Because that he remembered not to show lovingkindness, but pursued the man that was oppressed and needy, that, the downhearted, he might slay.
Because he loved cursing, May it have come upon him, Because he delighted not in blessing, May it have kept far from him;
18 Ya sa la’antarwa kamar rigarsa; ta shiga cikin jikinsa kamar ruwa, cikin ƙasusuwansa kamar mai.
Because he clothed himself in cursing as his outer garment, therefore may it have entered like water into his inward part, and like oil into his bones;
19 Bari tă zama kamar mayafin da aka ɗaura kewaye da shi, kamar ɗamara da aka ɗaura kewaye da shi har abada.
Be it his, as a garment he shall wrap round him, and for a girdle he shall, at all times, gird on:
20 Bari wannan yă zama sakayyar Ubangiji ga masu zargina, ga waɗanda suke mugayen maganganu a kaina.
This, be the reward of mine accusers, from Yahweh, even of them who are speaking wrongfully against my life.
But, thou, Yahweh, Adonay, deal effectually with me, for the sake of thy Name, Since good is thy lovingkindness, O rescue me;
22 Gama ni matalauci ne mai bukata kuma, zuciyata kuwa ta yi rauni a cikina.
For, oppressed and needy, I am, and, my heart, is wounded within me.
As a shadow when it stretcheth out, I am gone, I am shaken off like the locust;
24 Gwiwoyina suna mutuwa saboda azumi; jikina ya rame ba kuma ƙarfi.
My knees, tremble from fasting, and, my flesh, faileth of fatness:
25 Na zama abin dariya ga masu zargina; sa’ad da suka gan ni, suka kaɗa kawunansu.
So, I, am become a reproach for them, They see me, they shake their head.
Help me! O Yahweh my God, Save me, according to thy lovingkindness:
27 Bari su san cewa hannunka ne, cewa kai ne, ya Ubangiji, ka yi shi.
That they may know that, Thine own hand, this is, Thou, Yahweh, hast done it.
They, may curse if, thou, wilt bless, —Mine assailants, shall be ashamed, but, thy servant, shall rejoice;
Mine accusers shall be clothed with confusion, and shall wrap about them, like a cloak, their own shame.
30 Da bakina zan ɗaukaka Ubangiji sosai; cikin babban taro zan yabe shi.
I will thank Yahweh loudly with my mouth, Yea, in the midst of multitudes, will I praise him;
31 Gama yana tsaya a hannun damar mai bukata, don yă cece ransa daga waɗanda suke hukunta shi.
Because he standeth at the right hand of the needy, To save, from them who would pass sentence on his life.
