< Karin Magana 22 >
More choice, is a name, than great riches, beyond silver and gold, is pleasant grace.
2 Mawadaci da matalauci suna da abu guda. Ubangiji ne Mahaliccinsu duka.
The rich and the poor, meet together, the maker of them all, is Yahweh.
3 Mai basira kan ga damuwa tana zuwa yă nemi mafaka, amma marar azanci kan yi ta tafiya yă kuma sha wahala.
A prudent man, seeth calamity, and hideth himself, but, the simple, pass on, and suffer.
4 Sauƙinkai da tsoron Ubangiji sukan kawo wadata da girmamawa da kuma rai.
The reward of humility, is the reverence of Yahweh, riches, and honour, and life.
5 A hanyoyin mugu akwai kaya da tarko, amma duk wanda ya kiyaye ransa kan kauce musu.
Thorns and snares, are in the way of the perverse, —he that guardeth his soul, shall be far from them.
6 Ka hori yaro a hanyar da ya kamata yă bi, kuma sa’ad da ya tsufa ba zai bar ta ba.
Train up a youth, in the direction of his duty, even when he becometh old, he will not depart from it.
7 Mawadaci yakan yi mulki a kan matalauci, mai cin bashi kuwa bawan mai ba da bashi ne.
The rich, over the poor, beareth rule, —and, slave, is the borrower to the lender.
8 Duk wanda ya shuka mugunta yakan girbe wahala, za a kuma hallaka sandar fushinsa.
He that soweth perversity, shall reap trouble, and, the rod of his wrath, shall be ready.
9 Mai bayarwa hannu sake shi kansa zai sami albarka, gama yakan raba abincinsa da matalauta.
A benevolent eye, the same, shall be blessed, —because he hath given of his bread to the poor.
Drive away the scoffer, that strife may depart, and quarrel, and contempt may cease.
11 Duk mai son tsabtar zuciya wanda kuma jawabinsa mai alheri ne zai zama aminin sarki.
Yahweh loveth the pure in heart, gracious are his lips, his friend is the king!
The eyes of Yahweh, watch over knowledge, therefore hath he overturned the words of the treacherous.
13 Rago kan ce, “Akwai zaki a waje!” Ko kuma “Za a kashe ni a tituna!”
Saith the sluggard, A lion outside! Amidst the broadways, shall I be slain.
14 Bakin mazinaciya rami ne mai zurfi; duk wanda yake a ƙarƙashin fushin Ubangiji zai fāɗa a ciki.
A deep chasm, is the mouth of strange women, he with whom Yahweh is indignant, falleth there.
Foolishness, is bound up in the heart of a youth, the rod of correction, shall drive it far from him.
16 Duk wanda yake danne matalauta don yă azurta kuma duk wanda yake kyauta ga mawadata, dukansu kan talauta.
He that oppresseth the poor, to make increase for himself, giving to the rich, shall surely come to want.
17 Ka kasa kunne ka kuma saurara ga maganganu masu hikima; ka yi amfani da abin da nake koyarwa,
Incline thine ear and hear the words of wise men, then, thy heart, wilt thou apply to my teaching;
For sweet shall they be, when thou shalt keep them in thine inmost mind, they shall fit well together, upon thy lips.
19 Domin dogarawarka ta kasance ga Ubangiji, ina koya maka yau, har kai ma.
That in Yahweh may be thy trust, I have made them known to thee to-day, even to thee.
20 Ban rubuta maka maganganu talatin ba, maganganun shawara da sani,
Have I not written for thee noble things, with counsels and knowledge:
21 ina koya maka gaskiya da kalmomin da za ka dogara a kai, saboda ka iya ba da amsa daidai ga duk wanda ya aike ka?
To cause thee to know the meaning of faithful sayings, that thou mayest give back faithful sayings to them who ask thee.
22 Kada ka zalunci matalauta a kan suna matalauta kada kuma ka ƙwari wanda ba shi da mai taimako a gaban shari’a,
Do not rob the poor, because he is poor, neither crush thou the oppressed in the gate;
23 gama Ubangiji zai yi magana dominsu zai kuwa washe waɗanda suka washe su.
For, Yahweh, will plead their cause, and will despoil their despoilers of life.
Do not have friendship with one given to anger, and, with a wrathful man, shall thou not enter in:
25 in ba haka ba za ka koyi hanyoyinsa ka kuma sa kanka a tarko.
Lest thou learn his ways, and take a snare to thy soul.
26 Kada ka zama mai ɗaukar lamuni ko ka ba da jingina saboda bashi;
Be not of them who strike hands, of them who are sureties for debts:
27 gama in ka kāsa biya za a ƙwace gadon da kake kwanciya a kai ma.
If thou hast nothing to pay, why should one take away thy bed from under thee?
28 Kada ka matsar da shaidar kan iyakar da kakanninka suka kafa.
Do not move back the ancient boundary, which thy father’s made.
29 Kana ganin mutumin da yake da gwaninta a cikin aikinsa? Zai yi wa sarakuna hidima; ba zai yi hidima wa mutanen da ba su iya ba.
Seest thou a man prompt in his business? before kings, shall he stand, he shall not stand before men who are obscure.
