Ƙidaya 26
1 Bayan annobar, sai Ubangiji ya yi magana da Musa da Eleyazar ɗan Haruna, firist ya ce,
It came about after the plague that Yahweh spoke to Moses and Eleazar son of Aaron the priest. He said,
2 “Ku ƙidaya dukan jama’ar Isra’ila daga mai shekaru ashirin zuwa gaba da za su iya aikin sojan Isra’ila.”
“Count all the community of the people of Israel, from twenty years old and up, by their ancestor's families, all who are able to go to war for Israel.”

So Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke to them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho and said,

“Count the people, from twenty years old and up, as Yahweh commanded Moses and the people of Israel, who came out of the land of Egypt.”

Reuben was the firstborn of Israel. From his son Hanok came the clan of the Hanokites. From Pallu came the clan of the Palluites.
6 daga Hezron, kabilar Hezronawa; daga Karmi, kabilar Karmiyawa.
From Hezron came the clan of the Hezronites. From Karmi came the clan of the Karmites.
7 Waɗannan su ne kabilan Ruben; jimillarsu ta kai 43,730.
These were the clans of Reuben, who numbered 43,730 men.
8 Ɗan Fallu kuwa shi ne Eliyab,
Eliab was a son of Pallu.
9 ’ya’yan Eliyab maza kuwa su ne, Nemuwel, Datan da Abiram. Datan da Abiram nan, su ne shugabannin mutanen da suka tayar wa Musa da Haruna, suna kuma cikin waɗanda suka bi Kora sa’ad da ya tayar wa Ubangiji.

The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up together with Korah when all his followers died. At that time, fire devoured 250 men, who became a warning sign.

13 daga Zera, kabilar Zerawa; daga Sha’ul, kabilar Sha’ul.
through Zerah, the clan of the Zerahites, through Shaul, the clan of the Shaulites.
14 Waɗannan su ne kabilan Simeyon; jimillarsu ta kai 22,200.
These were the clans of Simeon's descendants, who numbered 22,200 men.
15 Zuriyar Gad bisa ga kabilansu, daga Zafon, kabilar Zafonawa; daga Haggi, kabilar Haggiwa; daga Shuni, kabilar Shunawa;
The clans of Gad's descendants were these: Through Zephon, the clan of the Zephonites, through Haggi, the clan of the Haggites, through Shuni, the clan of the Shunites,
16 daga Ozni, kabilar Ozniyawa daga Eri, kabilar Eriyawa;
through Ozni, the clan of the Oznites, through Eri, the clan of the Erites,
17 daga Arod, kabilar Arodiyawa; daga Areli, kabilar Areliyawa.
through Arod, the clan of the Arodites, through Areli, the clan of the Arelites.
18 Waɗannan su ne kabilan Gad, jimillarsu ta kai 40,500.
These were the clans of Gad's descendants, who numbered 40,500 men.
19 Er da Onan,’ya’yan Yahuda ne, amma sun mutu a Kan’ana.
Judah's sons were Er and Onan, but these men died in the land of Canaan.
20 Zuriyar Yahuda bisa ga kabilansu, daga Shela, kabilar Shelayawa daga Ferez, kabilar Ferezawa; daga Zera, kabilar Zerawa;
The clans of Judah's other descendants were these: through Shelah, the clan of the Shelanites, through Perez, the clan of the Perezites, and through Zerah, the clan of the Zerahites.
21 Zuriyar Ferez kuwa, daga Hezron, kabilar Hezronawa; daga Hamul; kabilar Hamulawa.
The descendants of Perez were these: Through Hezron, the clan of the Hezronites, through Hamul, the clan of the Hamulites.
22 Waɗannan su ne kabilan Yahuda; jimillarsu ta kai 76,500.
These were the clans of Judah's descendants, who numbered 76,500 men.
23 Zuriyar Issakar bisa ga kabilansu, daga Tola, kabilar Tolatawa; daga Fuwa, kabilar Fuwayawa;
The clans of Issachar's descendants were these: Through Tola, the clan of the Tolaites, through Puah, the clan of the Puites,
24 daga Yashub, kabilar Yashubawa; daga Shimron, kabilar Shimronawa.
through Jashub, the clan of the Jashubites, through Shimron, the clan of the Shimronites.
25 Waɗannan su ne kabilan Issakar; jimillarsu ta kai 64,300.
These were the clans of Issachar, who numbered 64,300 men.
26 Zuriyar Zebulun bisa ga kabilansu, daga Sered, kabilar Seredawa; daga Elon kabilar Elonawa; daga Yaleyel; kabilar Yaleyewa.
The clans of Zebulun's descendants were these: Through Sered, the clan of the Seredites, through Elon, the clan of the Elonites, through Jahleel, the clan of the Jahleelites.
27 Waɗannan su ne kabilan Zebulun, jimillarsu ta kai 60,500.
These were the clans of the Zebulunites, who numbered 60,500 men.
28 Zuriyar Yusuf bisa ga kabilansu ta wurin Manasse da Efraim.
The clans of Joseph's descendants were Manasseh and Ephraim.
29 Zuriyar Manasse, daga Makir, kabilar Makiriyawa (Makir shi ne mahaifin Gileyad); daga Gileyad, kabilar Gileyadawa.
The descendants of Manasseh were these: through Makir, the clan of the Makirites (Makir was Gilead's father), through Gilead, the clan of the Gileadites.
30 Waɗannan su ne zuriya Gileyad, daga Iyezer, kabilar Iyezerawa; daga Helek, kabilar Helekawa;
Gilead's descendants were these: Through Iezer, the clan of the Iezerites, through Helek, the clan of the Helekites,
31 daga Asriyel, kabilar Asriyelawa; daga Shekem, kabilar Shekem;
through Asriel, the clan of the Asrielites, through Shechem, the clan of the Shechemites,
32 daga Shemida, kabilar Shemadawa; daga Hefer, kabilar Heferawa.
through Shemida, the clan of the Shemidaites, through Hepher, the clan of the Hepherites.
33 (Zelofehad ɗan Hefer, ba shi da’ya’ya maza;’yan mata ne kaɗai ya haifa, sunayensu kuwa su ne Mala, Nowa, Hogla, Milka da Tirza.)
Zelophehad son of Hepher had no sons, but only daughters. The names of his daughters were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milkah, and Tirzah.
34 Waɗannan su ne kabilan Manasse, jimillarsu ta kai 52,700.
These were the clans of Manasseh, who numbered 52,700 men.
35 Waɗannan su ne kabilan Efraim bisa ga kabilansu, daga Shutela, kabilar Shutelawa; daga Beker, kabilar Bekerawa; daga Tahan, kabilar Tahanawa.
The clans of Ephraim's descendants were these: Through Shuthelah, the clan of the Shuthelahites, through Beker, the clan of the Bekerites, through Tahan, the clan of the Tahanites.
36 Waɗannan su ne kabilan Shutelawa, daga Eran, kabilar Eranawa.
The descendants of Shuthelah were, by Eran, the clan of the Eranites.
37 Waɗannan su ne kabilan Efraim; jimillarsu ta kai 32,500. Waɗannan su ne kabilan Yusuf ta wurin kabilansu.
These were the clans of Ephraim's descendants, who numbered 32,500 men. These were Joseph's descendants, counted in each of their clans.
38 Zuriyar Benyamin bisa ga kabilansu, daga Bela, kabilar Belawa; daga Ashbel, kabilar Ashbelawa; daga Ahiram, kabilar Ahiramawa;
The clans of Benjamin's descendants were these: Through Bela, the clan of the Belaites, through Ashbel, the clan of the Ashbelites, through Ahiram, the clan of the Ahiramites,
39 daga Shufam, kabilar Shufamawa; daga Hufam, kabilar Hufamawa.
through Shephupham, the clan of the Shuphamites, through Hupham, the clan of the Huphamites.
40 Zuriyar Bela daga Ard da Na’aman, daga Ard, kabilar Ardawa; daga Na’aman, kabilar Na’amawa;
Bela's sons were Ard and Naaman. From Ard came the clan of the Ardites, and from Naaman came the clan of the Naamites.
41 Waɗannan su ne kabilan Benyamin, jimillarsu ta kai 45,600.
These were the clans of Benjamin's descendants. They numbered 45,600 men.
42 Waɗannan su ne kabilan Dan bisa ga kabilarsu, daga Shuham, kabilar Shuhamawa. Waɗannan su ne kabilan Dan.
The clans of Dan's descendants were, by Shuham, the clans of the Shuhamites. These were the clans of Dan's descendants.
43 Dukansu kabilan Shuhamawa ne, jimillarsu ta kai 64,400.
All the clans of the Shuhamites numbered 64,400 men.
44 Zuriyar Asher bisa ga kabilansu, daga Imna, kabilar Imnawa daga Ishbi, kabilar Ishbiyawa; daga Beriya, kabilar Beriyawa;
The clans of Asher's descendants were these: Through Imnah, the clan of the Imnites, through Ishvi, the clan of the Ishvites, through Beriah, the clan of the Beriites.
45 daga zuriyar Beriya kuwa, daga Heber, kabilar Heberawa; daga Malkiyel, kabilar Malkiyelawa.
The descendants of Beriah were these: Through Heber, the clan of the Heberites, through Malkiel, the clan of the Malkielites.

The name of Asher's daughter was Serah.
47 Waɗannan su ne kabilan Asher; jimillarsu ta kai 53,400.
These were the clans of Asher's descendants, who numbered 53,400 men.
48 Zuriyar Naftali bisa ga kabilansu, daga Yazeyel, kabilar Yazeyelawa; daga Guni, kabilar Guniyawa;
The clans of Naphtali's descendants were these: Through Jahzeel, the clan of the Jahzeelites, through Guni, the clan of the Gunites,
49 daga Yezer, kabilar Yezerawa; daga Shillem, kabilar Shillemawa.
through Jezer, the clan of the Jezerites, through Shillem, the clan of the Shillemites.
50 Waɗannan su ne kabilan Naftali, jimillarsu ta kai 45,400.
These were the clans of Naphtali's descendants, who numbered 45,400 men.
51 Dukan jimillar mazan Isra’ila ta kai 601,730.
This was the complete count of men among the people of Israel: 601,730.
52 Ubangiji ya ce wa Musa,
Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
53 “Ka rarraba musu ƙasar a matsayin gādo, bisa ga yawan kabila.
“The land must be divided among these men as an inheritance according to the number of their names.
54 Ga ƙungiya mafi girma, ka ba ta rabo mafi girma; ga ƙaramar ƙungiya kuwa, ka ba ta ƙarami rabo; kowane zai karɓa rabonsa ga yawan mutanen da aka rubuta.
To the larger clans you must give more inheritance, and to the smaller clans you must give less inheritance. To every family you must give an inheritance according to the number of men who were counted.
55 Ka tabbatar an rarraba ƙasar ta wurin rabo. Abin da kowace ƙungiya ta gāda zai zama bisa ga sunayen kabilar kakanninta.
However, the land must be divided by random lots. They must inherit the land as it will be divided among their ancestors' tribes.
56 Za a raba kowane gādo bisa ga rabo tsakanin manyan da ƙanana ƙungiyoyi.”
Their inheritance must be divided among the larger and the smaller clans, distributed to them by random lot.”
57 Waɗannan su ne Lawiyawa da a ƙidaya bisa ga kabilansu, daga Gershom, kabilar Gershonawa; daga Kohat, kabilar Kohatawa; daga Merari, kabilar Merari.
The Levite clans, counted clan by clan, were these: Through Gershon, the clan of the Gershonites, through Kohath, the clan of the Kohathites, through Merari, the clan of the Merarites.
58 Waɗannan kuma su ne kabilan Lawiyawa, kabilar Libniyawa, kabilar Hebronawa, kabilar Maliyawa, kabilar Mushiyawa, kabilar Korayawa (Kohat shi ne kakan Amram;
The clans of Levi were these: the clan of the Libnites, the clan of the Hebronites, the clan of the Mahlites, the clan of the Mushites, and the clan of the Korahites. Kohath was the Amram's ancestor.

The name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, a descendant of Levi, who was born to Levites in Egypt. She bore to Amram their children, who were Aaron, Moses, and Miriam their sister.

To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

Nadab and Abihu died when they offered before Yahweh unacceptable fire.
62 Dukan’ya’yan Lawiyawa maza daga wata ɗaya zuwa gaba, jimillarsu ta kai 23,000. Ba a ƙidaya su tare da sauran Isra’ilawa ba, domin ba a ba su gādo tare da su ba.
The males who were counted among them numbered twenty-three thousand, all males one month old and up. But they were not counted among Israel's descendants because no inheritance was given to them among the people of Israel.
63 Waɗannan su ne waɗanda Musa da Eleyazar firist, suka ƙidaya sa’ad da suka ƙidaya Isra’ilawa a filaye Mowab kusa da Urdun a hayen Yeriko.
These are the ones who were counted by Moses and Eleazar the priest. They counted the people of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
64 Ba ko ɗayansu da yake cikin waɗanda Musa da Haruna firist, suka ƙidaya sa’ad da suka ƙidaya Isra’ilawa a Hamadar Sinai.
But among these there was no man who had been counted by Moses and Aaron the priest when the descendants of Israel were counted in the wilderness of Sinai.
65 Gama Ubangiji ya riga ya gaya wa waɗancan Isra’ilawa cewa lalle za su mutu a hamada, kuma ba ko ɗayansu da ya rage, sai Kaleb ɗan Yefunne da Yoshuwa ɗan Nun.
For Yahweh had said that all of those people would certainly die in the wilderness. There was not a man left among them, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
