Nehemiya 7
1 Bayan an sāke gina katangar na kuma sa ƙofofi a wurarensu, sai aka naɗa masu tsaro, da mawaƙa, da Lawiyawa.
Now it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed,
2 Na sa ɗan’uwana Hanani tare da Hananiya shugaban fada aikin riƙon Urushalima, domin shi Hananiya mutum mai mutunci ne, mai tsoron Allah fiye da yawancin mutane.
That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many.
3 Na ce musu, “Kada a buɗe ƙofofin Urushalima da sassafe sai rana ta fito sosai. Yayinda matsaran ƙofofi suna aiki, a kulle ƙofofin a sa musu sakata kafin matsaran su tashi, wajen fāɗuwar rana. Ku kuma naɗa mazaunan Urushalima a matsayin masu tsaro, waɗansunsu a wuraren aiki, waɗansun kuma kusa da gidajensu.”
And I said to them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun shall be hot; and while they stand by, let them shut the doors, and bar them: and appoint soldiers of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one to be opposite his house.
4 Birnin Urushalima kuwa tana da fāɗi da girma, amma mutanen da suke zama a cikinta kaɗan ne, ba a kuma gina gidaje da yawa ba tukuna.
Now the city was large and great: but the people in it were few, and the houses were not built.
5 Sai Allahna ya sa a zuciyata in tara manyan gari, shugabanni da talakawa don a rubuta su bisa ga iyalansu. Na sami littafin asali na waɗanda suka fara dawowa. Ga abin da na tarar an rubuta a ciki.
And my God put into my heart to gather the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a family record of the genealogy of them who came up at the first, and found written in it,
6 Waɗannan su ne mutanen yankin da suka dawo daga zaman bautar da Nebukadnezzar sarkin Babilon ya kame (sun dawo Urushalima da Yahuda, kowanne zuwa garinsa.
These are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one to his city;
7 Sun dawo tare da Zerubbabel, da Yeshuwa, da Nehemiya, da Azariya, da Ra’amiya, da Nahamani, da Mordekai, da Bilshan, da Misfar, da Bigwai, da Nehum da kuma Ba’ana). Ga jerin mutanen Isra’ila.
Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number, I say, of the men of the people of Israel was this;

56 da ta Neziya, da kuma ta Hatifa.
The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.
57 Ga zuriyar bayin Solomon. Zuriyar Sotai, da ta Soferet, da ta Ferida,
The children of Solomon’s servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,
58 da ta Ya’ala, da ta Darkon, da ta Giddel,
The children of Jaala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
59 Shefatiya, Hattil, Fokeret-Hazzebayim, da Amon.
The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Amon.
60 Zuriyar ma’aikatan haikali da ta bayin Solomon su 392.
All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants, were three hundred and ninety and two.
61 Waɗansu sun hauro daga garuruwan Tel-Mela, Tel-Harsha, Kerub, Addon da Immer, amma ba su iya nuna cewa iyalansu su zuriyar Isra’ila ce ba,
And these were they who went up also from Telmelah, Telharesha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not show their father’s house, nor their seed, whether they were of Israel.
62 zuriyar Delahiya, Tobiya, da Nekoda 642.
The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred and forty and two.
63 Na wajen firistoci kuwa su ne, Zuriyar Hobahiya, da ta Hakkoz, da ta Barzillai (wani mutumin da ya auri’yar Barzillai mutumin Gileyad, aka kuma kira shi da wannan suna).
And of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai, who took one of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite for a wife, and was called after their name.
64 Waɗannan ne aka nemi sunayensu a cikin tarihin asalin iyalai, amma ba a same su a ciki ba, saboda haka aka hana su shiga cikin firistoci, sun zama kamar marasa tsarki.
These sought their family record among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but it was not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.
65 Sai gwamna ya umarce su kada su ci wani abinci mafi tsarki, sai akwai firist da zai nemi nufin Ubangiji ta wurin Urim da Tummim.
And the Tirshatha said to them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there should stand up a priest with Urim and Thummim.
66 Yawan jama’ar duka ya kai mutum 42,360,
The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and sixty,
67 ban da bayinsu maza da mata 7,337. Suna kuma da mawaƙa maza da mata 245.
Besides their male and female servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred and thirty and seven: and they had two hundred and forty and five men and women singers.

Their horses, seven hundred and thirty and six: their mules, two hundred and forty and five:
69 raƙuma 435, da kuma jakuna 6,720.
Their camels, four hundred and thirty and five: six thousand seven hundred and twenty donkeys.
70 Waɗansu shugabannin iyalai suka ba da kyautai domin taimakon aiki. Gwamna ya ba da darik 1,000 na zinariya, kwanoni 50, da riguna 530 don firistoci.
And some of the heads of the fathers’ houses gave to the work. The Tirshatha gave to the treasury a thousand drams of gold, fifty basins, five hundred and thirty priests’ garments.
71 Waɗansu shugabannin iyalai sun ba da darik 20,000 na zinariya da mina 2,200 na azurfa don aiki.
And some of the heads of the fathers’ houses gave to the treasury of the work twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand and two hundred pounds of silver.
72 Jimillar da sauran mutane suka bayar ta kai darik 20,000 na zinariya, minas 2,000 na azurfa, da riguna sittin da bakwai don firistoci.
And that which the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pounds of silver, and sixty and seven priests’ garments.
73 Firistoci, da Lawiyawa, da matsaran ƙofofi, da mawaƙa, da ma’aikatan haikali tare da waɗansu mutane da kuma sauran mutanen Isra’ila, suka zauna a garuruwansu. Da wata na bakwai ya zo, Isra’ilawa kuwa sun riga sun zauna a garuruwansu,
So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.
