And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.
2 Waɗansu mutane suka kawo masa wani shanyayye, kwance a tabarma.

And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemes.
4 Sane da tunaninsu, Yesu ya ce, “Me ya sa kuke da mugun tunani a zuciyarku?
And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think all of you evil in your hearts?
5 Wanne ya fi sauƙi, a ce, ‘An gafarta maka zunubanka,’ ko kuwa a ce, ‘Tashi ka yi tafiya?’
For whether is easier, to say, Your sins be forgiven you; or to say, Arise, and walk?
6 Amma don ku san cewa Ɗan Mutum yana da iko a duniya yă gafarta zunubai.” Sai ya ce wa shanyayyen, “Tashi, ɗauki tabarmarka ka tafi gida.”
But that all of you may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins, (then says he to the sick of the palsy, ) Arise, take up your bed, and go unto your house.

And he arose, and departed to his house.

But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
13 Amma ku je ku koyi abin da wannan yake nufi, ‘Jinƙai nake bukata, ba hadaya ba.’Gama ban zo domin in kira masu adalci ba, sai dai masu zunubi.”
But go all of you and learn what that means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
14 Sai almajiran Yohanna suka zo suka tambaye shi suka ce, “Me ya sa mu da Farisiyawa muke azumi, amma almajiranka ba sa yi?”
Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples fast not?

And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bride-chamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
16 “Ba mai yin faci da sabon ƙyalle a kan tsohuwar riga, gama facin zai kece rigar yă sa kecewar ma ta fi ta dā muni.
No man puts a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up takes from the garment, and the rent is made worse.

Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runs out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
18 Yayinda yake faɗin wannan, sai wani mai mulki ya zo ya durƙusa a gabansa ya ce, “Yanzu-yanzu diyata ta rasu. Amma ka zo ka ɗibiya hannunka a kanta, za tă kuwa rayu.”
While he spoke these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay your hand upon her, and she shall live.

For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; your faith has made you whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleeps. And they laughed him to scorn.

But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.

And their eyes were opened; and Jesus strictly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
31 Amma suka fita suka yi ta baza labari game da shi ko’ina a wannan yankin.
But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.
32 Yayinda suke fitowa, sai aka kawo wa Yesu wani mutum mai aljani, da ba ya iya magana.
As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.

And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spoke: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.
34 Amma Farisiyawa suka ce, “Ai, da ikon sarkin aljanu yake fitar da aljanu.”
But the Pharisees said, He casts out devils through the prince of the devils.

But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
37 Sai ya ce wa almajiransa, “Girbi yana da yawa, amma ma’aikata kaɗan ne.
Then says he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is abundant, but the labourers are few;
38 Saboda haka ku roƙi Ubangijin girbi, yă aiko da ma’aikata cikin gonarsa na girbi.”
Pray all of you therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
