< Mattiyu 27 >

And as soon as it was morning all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus, how to get Him executed:
2 Suka daure shi, suka tafi da shi, suka ba da shi ga gwamna Bilatus.
so they bound Him and led Him away, and delivered Him to Pontius Pilate the Roman governor.
Then Judas, who had betrayed Him, when he saw that He was condemned, being struck with remorse, brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders,
saying, I have sinned, for I have betrayed innocent blood: but they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.
5 Sai Yahuda ya zubar da kuɗin a cikin haikalin ya tafi. Sa’an nan ya je ya rataye kansa.
And he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
6 Manyan firistoci suka ɗauki kuɗin, suka ce, “Doka ta hana a sa kuɗin a cikin ma’aji, da yake kuɗin jini ne.”
But the chief priests took up the pieces of silver, and said, It is not lawful to put them into the treasury of the temple, because it is the price of blood:
7 Saboda haka, sai suka yanke shawara su yi amfani da kuɗin suka sayi filin mai yin tukwane, saboda binne baƙi.
so they consulted together, and bought with them the potter's field for a burying-ground for strangers:
8 Shi ya sa ake kiran filin, Filin Jini har yă zuwa yau.
and therefore that field is called the field of blood to this day.
9 Sai abin da aka faɗa ta bakin annabi Irmiya ya cika cewa, “Suka ɗauki azurfa talatin, kuɗin da mutanen Isra’ila suka sa a kansa,
Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was estimated, on whom the children of Israel set the price,
and gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me.
11 Ana cikin haka, Yesu kuwa yana tsaye a gaban gwamna, sai gwamnan ya tambaye shi, “Kai ne Sarkin Yahudawa?” Yesu ya ce, “I, haka ne, kamar yadda ka faɗa.”
And Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked Him, saying, Art thou the king of the Jews? And Jesus answered him, It is as thou sayest.
12 Da manyan firistoci da dattawa suka zarge shi, bai ba da amsa ba.
And when he was accused by the chief priests and elders, He answered nothing.
Then saith Pilate to Him, Dost thou not hear how many things they witness against thee?
14 Amma Yesu bai ce uffam game da ko ɗaya daga cikin zargin da suka yi masa ba. Har gwamna ya yi mamaki ƙwarai.
but He answered him not one word: so that the governor was much astonished.
15 A wannan irin Biki, gwamna yana da wata al’ada, ta sakin ɗan kurkuku guda wanda taron suka zaɓa.
Now the governor used at the feast to release a prisoner to the people, whomsoever they desired:
16 To, a wannan lokaci kuwa suna da wani shahararren ɗan kurkuku da ake kira Barabbas.
and they had then a notorious malefactor named Barabbas.
17 Saboda haka da taron suka taru, sai Bilatus ya tambaye su ya ce, “Wane ne a cikinsu kuke so in sakar muku. Barabbas ko Yesu wanda ake kira Kiristi?”
Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you?
Barabbas, or Jesus, who is called Christ? for he knew that out of envy they had delivered Him up.
19 Yayinda Bilatus yake zaune a kan kujerar shari’a, sai matarsa ta aika masa da wannan saƙo cewa, “Kada ka sa hannunka a kan marar laifin nan, domin na sha wahala ƙwarai, a cikin mafarki yau game da shi.”
(And while he was sitting on the tribunal, his wife sent to him, saying, Have nothing to do with that righteous man: for I have suffered much in a dream to day on his account.)
But the chief priests and elders persuaded the common people to ask for Barabbas, and so to destroy Jesus.
21 Gwamna ya yi tambaya ya ce, “Wane ne cikin biyun nan, kuke so in sakar muku?” Suka ce, “Barabbas.”
And the governor said to them, Which of the two would you have me release to you? and they said, Barabbas.
22 Bilatus ya yi tambaya, “To, me zan yi da Yesu wanda ake kira Kiristi?” Duka suka ce, “A gicciye shi!”
What shall I do then, saith Pilate, with Jesus, who is called Christ? They all cried out, Let Him be crucified.
23 Bilatus ya ce, “Don me? Wane laifi ya yi?” Amma suka ƙara tā da ihu, suna cewa, “A gicciye shi!”
And the governor said, Why, what evil hath He done? but they cried out the more, saying, Let Him be crucified.
24 Da Bilatus ya ga cewa ba ya kaiwa ko’ina, sai ma hargitsi ne yake so yă tashi, sai ya ɗibi ruwa, ya wanke hannuwansa a gaban taron ya ce, “Ni kam, ba ruwana da alhakin jinin mutumin nan. Wannan ruwanku ne!”
Pilate seeing that he prevailed nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just man, look ye to it:
25 Sai dukan mutane suka amsa, suka ce, “Bari alhakin jininsa yă zauna a kanmu da’ya’yanmu!”
and all the people answered and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.
26 Sai ya sakar musu Barabbas. Amma ya sa aka yi wa Yesu bulala, sa’an nan ya ba da shi a gicciye.
Then he released to them Barabbas: but he ordered Jesus to be scourged, and delivered Him to be crucified.
27 Sai sojojin gwamna suka ɗauki Yesu suka kai shi Fadar mai mulki, sa’an nan suka tara dukan kamfanin sojoji kewaye da shi.
Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the hall, and gathered the whole band about Him:
28 Suka tuɓe shi, suka yafa masa wata jar riga.
and when they had stript Him, they covered Him with a scarlet robe;
29 Suka kuma tuƙa wani rawanin ƙaya, suka sa masa a kā. Suka sa sanda a hannun damansa. Suka durƙusa a gabansa, suka yi masa ba’a, suna cewa, “Ranka yă daɗe sarkin Yahudawa!”
and having platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand; and they bowed the knee before Him in derision, saying, Hail king of the Jews:
30 Suka tattofa masa miyau, suka karɓe sandan, suka yi ta ƙwala masa shi a kai.
and they spit upon Him, and took the reed and struck Him on the head.
And after they had thus abused Him, they took off the scarlet robe from Him, and put on Him his own clothes, and led Him away to be crucified.
32 Suna fitowa ke nan, sai suka sadu da wani mutumin Sairin, mai suna Siman. Sai suka tilasta shi ya ɗauki gicciyen.
And as they were going along they met with a man of Cyrene, whose name was Simon; and forced him to carry the cross.
33 Sai suka iso wani wurin da ake kira Golgota (wanda yake nufin Wurin Ƙoƙon Kai).
And when they were come to a place called Golgotha, that is to say,
34 A can, suka ba shi ruwan inabi gauraye da wani abu mai ɗaci yă sha. Amma da ya ɗanɗana, sai ya ƙi sha.
the place of a skull, they gave Him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: but when He had tasted it, He would not drink.
35 Bayan da suka gicciye shi, sai suka raba tufafinsa a tsakaninsu ta wurin jefa ƙuri’a.
And after they had fixed Him to the cross, they parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
36 Sa’an nan suka zauna suna tsaronsa.
And they sat down and watched Him there: and put up over his head his accusation in writing,
THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
38 An gicciye’yan fashi biyu tare da shi, ɗaya a damansa, ɗaya kuma a hagunsa.
And there were two thieves crucified with Him: one on his right hand, and one on the left.
39 Masu wucewa, suka zazzage shi, suna kaɗa kai,
And they that passed by reviled Him, shaking their heads,
40 suna cewa, “Kai da za ka rushe haikali, ka kuma gina shi cikin kwana uku, ceci kanka mana! In kai Ɗan Allah ne, ka sauka daga gicciyen!”
and saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it again in three days, save thyself: if thou art the Son of God, come down from the cross.
And in like manner the chief priests also insulting Him, with the scribes and elders,
In shi ne Sarkin Isra’ila! To, yă sauko daga kan gicciyen nan, mu kuwa mu gaskata shi.
said, He saved others, himself He cannot save: if He be the king of Israel, let Him come down now from the cross, and we will believe Him:
43 Ya dogara ga Allah. Bari Allah yă cece shi yanzu, in yana sonsa, domin ya ce, ‘Ni Ɗan Allah ne.’”
He trusted in God, let Him deliver Him now, if He will own Him; for He said, I am the Son of God.
And one of the thieves also, that were crucified with Him, cast the same reproach upon Him.
45 Daga sa’a ta shida, har zuwa sa’a ta tara, duhu ya rufe ƙasa duka.
Now from the sixth hour to the ninth there was darkness over all the land.
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani," that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
47 Sa’ad da waɗanda suke tsattsaye a wurin suka ji haka, sai suka ce, “Yana kiran Iliya.”
And some of them that stood by, hearing Him, said, He calls upon Elias:
48 Nan da nan, ɗaya daga cikinsu ya ruga, ya sami soso, ya jiƙa shi da ruwan tsami, ya sa a sanda, ya miƙa wa Yesu, yă sha.
and immediately one of them ran, and took a spunge, and having filled it with vinegar put it upon a reed, and offered it Him to drink;
49 Sauran kuwa suka ce, “Ƙyale shi mu ga, ko Iliya zai zo yă cece shi.”
the rest said, Stay, let us see whether Elias will come and save Him.
But Jesus cried out again with a loud voice; and then gave up the ghost.
51 A daidai wannan lokaci, sai labulen haikali ya tsage gida biyu, daga sama har ƙasa. Ƙasa ta jijjiga, duwatsu kuma suka farfashe.
And behold the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom, and the earth was shaken, and the rocks were split:
52 Kaburbura suka bubbuɗe, jikunan tsarkaka da yawa kuwa cikin waɗanda da suka mutu, suka tashi.
and the graves opened, and many bodies of departed saints arose,
53 Suka firfito daga kaburbura, sa’an nan bayan tashin Yesu daga matattu, suka shiga birni mai tsarki, suka bayyana ga mutane da yawa.
and coming out of the graves, after his resurrection, went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
And when the centurion, and they that were with him guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake, and what was done, they were sore afraid, and said, This was indeed the Son of God.
55 Akwai mata da yawa a can, suna kallo daga nesa. Sun bi Yesu tun daga Galili, suna masa hidima.
And several women were there looking on at a distance, who had followed Jesus from Galilee, ministring unto Him:
56 A cikinsu, akwai Maryamu Magdalin, da Maryamu uwar Yaƙub da Yoses, da kuma uwar’ya’yan Zebedi.
among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's children.
57 Da yamma ta yi, sai ga wani mutum mai arziki daga Arimateya, sunansa Yusuf, wanda shi da kansa almajirin Yesu ne.
And in the evening, there came a rich man of Arimathea, whose name was Joseph, who also himself was a disciple of Jesus, and went to Pilate,
58 Ya je wurin Bilatus, ya roƙe shi yă ba shi jikin Yesu. Sai Bilatus ya umarta a ba shi.
and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate ordered the body to be delivered to him;
and Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
60 Sa’an nan ya sa shi a sabon kabarinsa, wanda ya haƙa a dutse. Bayan ya gungura wani babban dutse ya rufe bakin kabarin, sai ya tafi abinsa.
and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had had cut out in the rock; and when he had rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, he went away:
61 Maryamu Magdalin da ɗayan Maryamun, suna zaune a wurin, ɗaura da kabarin.
but there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary sitting over against the sepulchre.
62 Kashegari, wato, bayan Ranar Shirye-shirye, sai manyan firistoci da Farisiyawa, suka je wurin Bilatus.
Now the next day after the preparation, the chief priests and pharisees went together to Pilate, saying, Sir, we remember that this impostor,
63 Suka ce, “Ranka yă daɗe, mun tuna, mai ruɗin nan tun yana da rai ya ce, ‘Bayan kwana uku, zan tashi daga matattu.’
when He was alive, said, After three days I will rise again:
64 Saboda haka, ka ba da umarni, a tsare kabarin sai rana ta uku ɗin. In ba haka ba, almajiransa za su iya zuwa su sace jikin, sa’an nan su faɗa wa mutane cewa, an tashe shi daga matattu. Ruɗin ƙarshen nan fa, sai yă fi na farkon muni.”
order therefore the sepulchre to be secured till the third day, least his disciples should come and steal Him away, and tell the people, He is risen from the dead: and so the last error will be worse than the first.
65 Sai Bilatus ya ce, “Shi ke nan, ku ɗebi soja, ku je ku tsare kabarin iya ƙoƙarinku.”
But Pilate said to them, Ye have a guard of your own, go and make it as secure as ye will.
66 Sai suka je suka tsare kabarin ta wurin buga masa hatimi, suka kuma sa masu gadi.
So they went and made the sepulchre safe, sealing the stone, and setting a guard to watch it.
