After six days, Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain by themselves.
2 A can aka sāke kamanninsa a gabansu. Fuskarsa ta haskaka kamar rana, tufafinsa kuwa suka zama fari fat suna walƙiya.
He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as the light.
3 Nan take sai ga Musa da Iliya suka bayyana a gabansu, suna magana da Yesu.
And look, Moses and Elijah appeared to them talking with him.
In kana so, sai in kafa bukkoki uku, ɗaya dominka, ɗaya domin Musa, ɗaya kuma domin Iliya.”
Peter answered, and said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you want, let us make three tents here: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
5 Yayinda yake cikin magana, sai wani girgije mai haske ya rufe su, sai wata murya daga cikin girgijen ta ce, “Wannan Ɗana ne, wanda nake ƙauna; wanda kuma nake jin daɗinsa ƙwarai. Ku saurare shi!”
While he was still speaking, look, a bright cloud overshadowed them. And look, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him."
6 Sa’ad da almajiran suka ji haka, sai suka fāɗi ƙasa rubda ciki, a firgice.
When the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces, and were very afraid.
7 Amma Yesu ya zo ya taɓa su ya ce, “Ku tashi, kada ku ji tsoro.”
Jesus came and touched them and said, "Get up, and do not be afraid."
8 Da suka ɗaga kai, ba su ga kowa ba sai Yesu kaɗai.
And when they lifted up their eyes, they saw no one except Jesus alone.
9 Suna cikin gangarowa daga dutsen ke nan, sai Yesu ya umarce su cewa, “Kada ku faɗa wa kowa abin da kuka gani, sai bayan an tā da Ɗan Mutum daga matattu.”
As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, "Do not tell anyone what you saw, until the Son of Man has risen from the dead."
10 Almajiran suka tambaye shi suka ce, “To, me ya sa malaman dokoki suke cewa, dole sai Iliya ya fara zuwa?”
The disciples asked him, saying, "Then why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?"
11 Yesu ya amsa ya ce, “Tabbatacce, Iliya zai zo, zai kuma gyara dukan abubuwa.
And he answered and said, "Elijah indeed comes, and will restore all things,
12 Amma ina faɗa muku, Iliya ya riga ya zo, ba su kuwa gane shi ba, amma suka yi masa duk abin da suka ga dama. Haka ma Ɗan Mutum zai sha wahala a hannunsu.”
but I tell you that Elijah has come already, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they wanted to. Even so the Son of Man will also suffer by them."
13 Sa’an nan almajiran suka gane cewa yana musu zancen Yohanna Mai Baftisma ne.
Then the disciples understood that he spoke to them of John the Baptist.
And when they came to the crowd, a man came to him, knelt before him,
Yana da farfaɗiya yana kuma shan wahala ƙwarai. Ya sha fāɗuwa cikin wuta ko ruwa.
and said, "Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is epileptic, and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire, and often into the water.
So I brought him to your disciples, and they could not cure him."
Kawo mini yaron a nan.”
Jesus answered, "Faithless and perverse generation. How long will I be with you? How long will I bear with you? Bring him here to me."
Jesus rebuked him, the demon went out of him, and the boy was cured from that hour.
19 Sa’an nan almajiran suka zo wurin Yesu a ɓoye suka tambaye shi suka ce, “Me ya sa ba mu iya fitar da aljanin ba?”
Then the disciples came to Jesus privately, and said, "Why weren't we able to cast it out?"
Gaskiya nake gaya muku, in kuna da bangaskiyar da take ƙanƙanuwa kamar ƙwayar mustad, za ku iya ce wa wannan dutse, ‘Matsa daga nan zuwa can,’ zai kuwa matsa. Babu abin da zai gagare ku.”
So he said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."
22 Da suka taru a Galili, sai ya ce musu, “Za a bashe Ɗan Mutum, a hannun mutane.
While they were gathering together in Galilee, Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men,

When they had come to Capernaum, those who collected the didrachma coins came to Peter, and said, "Does not your teacher pay the didrachma?"
He said, "Yes." When he came into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, "What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth receive toll or tribute? From their children, or from strangers?"
And when he said, "From strangers." Jesus said to him, "Therefore the children are exempt.
But, lest we cause them to stumble, go to the sea, cast a hook, and take up the first fish that comes up. When you have opened its mouth, you will find a stater coin. Take that, and give it to them for me and you."
