< Firistoci 21 >
1 Ubangiji ya ce wa Musa, “Yi magana da firistoci,’ya’yan Haruna maza, ka ce musu, ‘Kada firist yă ƙazantar da kansa saboda wani cikin mutanensa da suka mutu,
The Lord told Moses, “Tell Aaron's sons, the priests: A priest is not to make himself unclean by touching the dead body of any of his relatives.
2 sai dai na danginsa na kusa, kamar mahaifiyarsa ko mahaifinsa, ɗansa ko’yarsa, ɗan’uwansa,
The only exceptions are for his immediate family. This includes his mother, father, son, daughter, or brother,
3 ko’yar’uwarsa da ba tă riga ta yi aure ba, wadda take dogara gare shi, da yake ba ta da miji, saboda ita zai iya ƙazantar da kansa.
or his unmarried sister since she is a close relative because she doesn't have a husband.
4 Kada yă ƙazantar da kansa saboda mutanen da suke da dangantakar da shi ta wurin aure, ta yin haka zai ƙazantar da kansa.
He must not make himself unclean for those only related to him by marriage—he is not to make himself ceremonially impure.
5 “‘Kada firistoci su aske kansu ƙwal ko su kwakkwafe gemunsu, ko su tsattsage jikunansu.
Priests are not to shave bald spots on their heads, trim the sides of their beards, or cut their bodies.
6 Dole su kasance masu tsarki ga Allahnsu, kada kuma su ɓata sunan Allahnsu. Domin sukan miƙa hadayun da aka kawo wa Ubangiji da wuta, abincin Allahnsu, saboda haka sai su kasance da tsarki.
They must be holy to their God and not disgrace their God's reputation. They are the one who present the food offerings to the Lord, the food of their God. Consequently they must be holy.
7 “‘Ba za su auri matan da karuwanci ya ɓata su, ko waɗanda mazansu suka sake su ba, gama firistoci masu tsarki ne ga Allahnsu.
A priest is not to marry a woman made unclean through prostitution or who is divorced by her husband, for the priest must be holy to his God.
8 An ɗauke su da tsarki, domin suna miƙa abincin Allahnku. An ɗauka su masu tsarki gama Ni Ubangiji, mai tsarki ne, Ni wanda ya mai da ku masu tsarki.
You shall consider him holy because he presents the food offerings to your God. He shall be holy to you, because I am holy. I am the Lord, and I chose you as my special people.
9 “‘In’yar firist ta ɓata kanta ta wurin zama karuwa, ta kunyatar da mahaifinta ke nan; dole a ƙone ta da wuta.
A priest's daughter who makes herself unclean through prostitution makes her father unclean. She must be executed by burning.
10 “‘Babban firist, wanda yake ɗaya cikin’yan’uwansa wanda aka shafe da mai a kansa, wanda kuma aka naɗa don yă sa rigunan firistoci, kada yă bar gashin kansa buzu-buzu, ko ya kyakketa rigunansa.
The high priest has the highest place among the other priests. He has been anointed with olive oil poured on his head and has been ordained to wear the priestly clothing. He must not leave his hair uncombed or tear his clothes.
11 Ba zai shiga inda akwai gawa ba. Kada yă ƙazantar da kansa, ko ma ta mahaifinsa ce ko ta mahaifiyarsa.
He is not to go near any dead body. He must not make himself unclean, even it is for his own father or mother.
12 An keɓe shi domina, kada yă ƙazantar da kansa, kada kuwa yă ɓata Tentin Sujada ta wurin shiga gidan da gawa take, ko ta mahaifinsa, ko ta mahaifiyarsa ce. Ni ne Ubangiji.
He must not leave to deal with someone who has died or make the sanctuary of his God unclean because he has been dedicated by the anointing oil of his God. I am the Lord.
13 “‘Dole macen da zai aura ta kasance budurwa.
He can only marry a virgin.
14 Ba zai auri matan da mijinta ya mutu, ko macen da mijinta ya rabu da ita, ko macen da ta ɓata kanta ta wurin karuwanci ba, sai dai yă auri budurwa daga cikin mutanensa,
He must not marry a widow, a divorced woman, or one made unclean through prostitution. He has to marry a virgin from his own people,
15 don kada yă ƙazantar da’ya’yansa a cikin mutanensa. Ni ne Ubangiji, wanda ya mai da shi mai tsarki.’”
so that he doesn't make his children unclean among his people, for I am the Lord who makes him holy.”
16 Ubangiji ya ce wa Musa,
The Lord told Moses,
17 “Faɗa wa Haruna cewa, ‘Don tsararraki masu zuwa, kada ko ɗaya daga cikin zuriyarka, da yake da lahani yă zo kusa domin yă miƙa hadaya ta ci gare ni.
“Tell Aaron: These rules apply for all future generations. If any of your descendants has a physical defect, he is not allowed to come and present the food offerings of his God.
18 Duk mai lahani, ko makaho, ko gurgu, ko mai naƙasa, ko mai wani lahani a jiki;
No man is allowed to do this if he has any defects, including anyone who is blind, crippled, facially disfigured, or has deformities,
19 ko mai karyayyen ƙafa, ko mai karyayyen hannu,
anyone who has a broken foot or arm,
20 ko mai ƙusumbi, ko wada, ko wanda yake da lahani a ido, ko mai cuta mai sa ƙaiƙayi, ko mai kirci, ko wanda aka daƙe, ba zai yi kusa domin yă miƙa hadaya ba.
anyone who is a hunchback or dwarf, or who has cataracts, skin sores or scabs, or a damaged testicle.
21 Ba zuriyar Haruna firist, mai lahanin da zai zo kusa don yă miƙa hadayun da aka yi ga Ubangiji da wuta. Da yake yana da lahani, ba zai zo kusa don yă miƙa abincin Allahnsa ba.
No descendant of Aaron the priest who has a defect is allowed to come and present the food offerings to the Lord. Because he has a defect, he must not come and offer the food of his God.
22 Zai iya cin abinci mafi tsarki na Allahnsa, haka ma abinci mai tsarki;
He is still allowed to eat the food from the Most Holy Place of his God and also from the sanctuary,
23 duk da haka saboda lahaninsa, ba zai yi kusa da labule, ko yă yi kusa da bagade don kada yă ƙazantar da wuri mai tsarkina. Ni ne Ubangiji wanda yake mai da su masu tsarki.’”
but because he has a defect, he is not allowed to go near the curtain or the altar, so that my sanctuary and everything in it are not made unclean, because I am the Lord who makes them holy.”
24 Sai Musa ya faɗa wannan wa Haruna da’ya’yansa maza da kuma dukan Isra’ilawa.
Moses repeated this to Aaron and his sons, and to all the Israelites.
