1 Ubangiji ya ce wa Musa,
And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
2 “Faɗa wa Isra’ilawa cewa, ‘Duk wani mutumin Isra’ila ko baƙon da yake zama a cikin Isra’ila da ya miƙa wani daga cikin’ya’yansa wa Molek, dole sa kashe shi. Mutanen ƙasar za su jajjefe shi.
Unto the sons of Israel, therefore shalt thou say, What man soever, there may be of the sons of Israel, or of the sojourners that sojourn in Israel, that giveth of his seed unto Molech, he shall, surely be put to death, —the people of the land shall stone him with stones;
3 Zan yi gāba da wannan mutum, zan kuma raba shi da mutanensa; gama ta wurin miƙa’ya’yansa ga Molek, ya ƙazantar da wuri mai tsarkina, ya kuma ƙazantar da sunana mai tsarki.
I, also, will set my face against that man, and will cut him off out of the midst of his people, —because of his seed, hath he given unto Molech, seeing that he hath made unclean my sanctuary, even to the extent of profaning my holy name.
4 In mutanen ƙasar suka kau da idanunsu sa’ad da wannan mutum ya miƙa’ya’yansa ga Molek, suka kāsa kashe shi,
But, if the people of the land, do even hide, their eyes from that man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, —so as not to put him to death,
5 zan yi gāba da wannan mutum da iyalinsa, zan raba shi da kuma duk waɗanda suka bi shi cikin karuwanci ga Molek daga mutanensu.
then will I myself, set my face against that man, and against his family, —and will cut him off, and all that follow unchastely after him—in going unchastely after Molech—out of the midst of their people.
6 “‘Zan yi gāba da mutumin da ya juyo ga masu duba da bokaye, don yă yi karuwanci ta wurin bin su, zan kuma raba shi daga mutanensa.
The person also that turneth unto mediums and unto oracles, in going unchastely after them, then will I set my face against that person, and will cut him off out of the midst of his people.
7 “‘Ku tsarkake kanku, ku kuma zama da tsarki, gama Ni ne Ubangiji Allahnku.
Therefore shall ye hallow yourselves and be holy, —Because I—Yahweh, am your God.
8 Ku kiyaye farillaina, ku kuma bi su. Ni ne Ubangiji, wanda ya mai da ku masu tsarki.
Therefore shall ye observe my statutes, and do them, —I—Yahweh, am he that is hallowing you.
9 “‘In wani ya zagi mahaifinsa ko mahaifiyarsa, dole a kashe shi. Domin ya zagi mahaifinsa ko mahaifiyarsa, alhakin jininsa zai zauna a kansa.
When, any man whatsoever, curseth his father or his mother, he shall surely be put to death, —his father or his mother, hath he cursed, his blood, shall be upon himself.
10 “‘In mutum ya yi zina da matar wani, da matar maƙwabcinsa, dole a kashe su biyu da suka yi zinan.
And, any man, who committeth adultery with the wife of any other man, he that committeth adultery with the wife of his neighbour shall surely be put to death—the adulterer, and the adulteress.
11 “‘In mutum ya kwana da matar mahaifinsa, ya ƙasƙantar da mahaifinsa. Dole a kashe shi da macen, alhakin jininsu zai zauna a kansu.
And any man who lieth with his father’s wife, the shame of his father, hath uncovered, —they both shall, surely be put to death—their blood shall be upon themselves.
12 “‘In mutum ya kwana da matar ɗansa, dole a kashe su biyun. Abin da suka yi haram ne; alhakin jininsu zai zauna a kansu.
And any man who lieth with his daughter-in-law, they both shall, surely be put to death, confusion, have they wrought—their blood shall be upon themselves.
13 “‘In mutum ya kwana da mutum kamar yadda ake kwana da mace, su biyun sun yi abin ƙyama. Dole a kashe su, alhakin jininsu zai zauna a kansu.
And any man who lieth with mankind as with womankind, an abomination, have both of them wrought, —they shall, surely be put to death, —their blood, shall be upon themselves.
14 “‘In mutum ya auri’ya da mahaifiyarta, mugun abu ne. Da shi da su, dole a ƙone su da wuta, saboda kada mugun abu yă kasance a cikinku.
And, any man, who taketh a woman and her mother, wickedness, it is, —in fire, shall both he and they be consumed, that wickedness be not in your midst.
15 “‘In mutum ya yi jima’i da dabba, dole a kashe shi, dole kuma ku kashe dabbar.
And, any man, who hath carnal knowledge of a beast, shall, surely be put to death, —and, the beast, shall ye slay.
16 “‘In mace ta kusaci dabba don tă yi jima’i da ita, ku kashe macen da dabbar. Dole a kashe su; alhakin jininsu zai zauna a kansu.
And, a woman, who approacheth unto any beast, to couch down thereto, then shalt thou slay the woman and the beast, —they shall surely be put to death, —their blood, shall be upon themselves.
17 “‘In mutum ya auri’yar’uwarsa, ko’yar mahaifinsa, ko kuwa ta mahaifiyarsa, suka kuma yi jima’i, abin kunya ne. Dole a raba su a idanun mutanensu. Ya ƙasƙantar da’yar’uwarsa kuma za a nemi hakki daga gare shi.
And, any man, who taketh his sister—his father’s daughter or his mother’s daughter, and vieweth her shame, and, she, vieweth his shame, a disgrace, it is, —they shall therefore be cut off in the sight of the sons of their people, —the shame of his sister, hath he uncovered—his iniquity, shall he bear.
18 “‘In mutum ya kwana da mace a lokacin al’adarta, duka biyunsu za a kore su daga cikin jama’arsu, gama sun karya ƙa’idodi a kan rashi tsarki.
And, any man, who lieth with a woman having her sickness, and uncovereth her shame, her fountain, hath he exposed, she, also hath uncovered her fountain of blood, —they shall therefore both be cut off out of the midst of their people.
19 “‘Kada ka yi jima’i da’yar’uwar mahaifiyarka, ko ta mahaifinka, gama wannan zai ƙasƙantar da dangi na kurkusa, dukanku za ku ɗauki laifin.
And the shame of thy mother’s sister, or of thy father’s sister, shalt thou not uncover, —for his near of kin, hath he exposed—their iniquity, shall they bear.
20 “‘In mutum ya kwana da bābarsa, ya ƙasƙantar da kawunsa ke nan. Hakkin zai kasance a kansu, za su mutu babu’ya’ya.
And, any man, who lieth with his uncle’s wife, the shame of his uncle, hath he uncovered, —their sin, shall they bear—childless, shall they die.
21 “‘In mutum ya auri matar ɗan’uwansa, aikin rashin tsabta ne, ya ƙasƙantar da ɗan’uwansa ke nan. Za su mutu babu’ya’ya.
And, any man, who taketh his brother’s wife, impurity, it is, —the shame of his brother, hath he uncovered—childless, shall they remain.
22 “‘Ku kiyaye dukan farillaina da dokokina duka, don kada ƙasar da nake kai ku ta amayar da ku.
Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes and all my regulations, and do them, —So shall the land whereinto I am bringing you to dwell therein, not vomit you forth;
23 Kada ku yi zama bisa ga al’adun al’umman da zan kora a gabanku. Domin sun aikata dukan waɗannan abubuwa, na yi ƙyamarsu.
So shall ye not walk in the—statutes of the nations, which I am casting out from before you, —For all these things, had they done, Therefore I abhorred them;
24 Amma na faɗa muku, “Za ku mallaki ƙasarsu, zan ba ku ita gādo, ƙasa mai zub da madara da zuma.” Ni ne Ubangiji Allahnku, wanda ya keɓe ku daga al’ummai.
And said unto you—Ye, shall possess their soil, Yea, I myself, will give it you to possess it, A land flowing with milk and honey, —I—Yahweh, am your God, who have distinguished you from the peoples;
25 “‘Saboda haka sai ku bambanta tsakanin dabbobi masu tsarki da marasa tsarki, da kuma tsakanin tsuntsaye masu tsarki da marasa tsarki. Kada ku ƙazantar da kanku ta wurin wata dabba, ko tsuntsu, ko wani abin da yake rarrafe a ƙasa, waɗanda na keɓe a matsayi marasa tsarki a gare ku.
Therefore shall ye make a distinction—Between the clean beasts, and the unclean, —And between the unclean birds and the clean, —So shall ye not make your persons abominable with beast, or with bird or with anything which creepeth upon the ground, which I have distinguished for you, as unclean.
26 Ku zama tsarkakakke gare ni, gama Ni Ubangiji, mai tsarki ne, na kuma keɓe ku daga al’ummai don ku zama nawa.
Therefore shall ye be unto me, holy persons, for, holy, am, I—Yahweh, —Therefore have I distinguished you from the peoples, that ye may be mine.
27 “‘Namiji, ko ta macen da yake mai duba, ko maita a cikinku dole a kashe. Za ku jajjefe su da duwatsu; alhakin jininsu zai zauna a kansu.’”
And as touching man or woman, when there shall be in them a familiar spirit, or the spirit of an oracle, they shall, surely be put to death, —with stones, shall they be stoned—their blood, shall be upon themselves.
